Synopsis
Her heels made a calculating thud as friction were applied. Few petals from the bouquet she brought fell off the ground as if they were confetti for grand celebration. Every eye focused on Einne with her grand entrance as they were all swoon with her sweet smile. Her hair brushed off with the wind as she elegantly motioned towards the man who was too paused while looking at her towards him. She wore knee-length white flowy dress which match her cheerful strides. She was beautiful being who is refreshing to look at that the crowd fix their gazes on her. She brought with her bouquet of red roses as if she happily received them from her lover. It was like a scene in a romantic drama, they were picturesque, the man and a woman intimately yearn with each other. The spectators nearby them took pictures and videos and post it on their social accounts. They were trending with that they with the hashtag #Onthespotproposal #Couplegoals. “I-,“Kent was interrupted with her hands. “Just 5 minutes.” She pleaded to him. “Happy anniversary to us.” She shoved him the bouquet in his hands. “I thank you for your sincere love. I thank you for the seven years you stayed with me,” “Einne.” He looked at her that he was about to cry. He holds back his tears, no one could compare the woman in front of her. She gave him all her love for the past 7 years too. She deserved to be loved and protected. She paused and looked at him. This time there was no warmth in her eyes. Her eyes were full of disgust and disappointment. “Let’s break up.” She pulled the ring in her finger and handed it to him. “Einne, I,” he was interrupted again. He too was surprised with the reversal of this event. “There will be no wedding. I already cancelled all the accommodations we already planned. I already throw the invitations, incinerate them to be exact.” “You don’t need to explain further. I gave you the liberty at your disposal. I hope we will not meet in the future. Congratulations Kent. You were free in my grasp. Goodbye.” Einne walked out with satisfaction. No more shedding of tears, no more pleading, no more revenge and schemes. Let’s keep the plot short and simple. Her life is already a major plot twist. With all the exaggerated events like lies, cheating and revenge, is not new to her. Why would a pessimist and monotone office girl like her stuck in an antagonist role? In a cliché romance novel where David and Carmen where the main character and she was the hated role? She will not waste her monotone life with this exaggerated and stuck in a novel which is she hated the most. “I need my life back!” she thought as she was done with this roleplaying. I was only organizing an inventory in the first place. What would happen to her salary if she missed her overtime loads?

Chapter 1 - VILLAIN OF MELODRAMATIC NOVEL

"I really hate that Coreen Lin! Every time she appears and bully Carmen just to earn David's heart, I really wanted to grabbed that b*tch and slam her face in toilet." it was Gina who slammed the door in the cubicle in her frustrations.

Einne was in the other cubicle while half-asleep startled with the loud thud.

"I was relieved that she died in the accident while trying to escape from the David's wrath. It was still happy ending for Carmen." it was Lily who retouched her make up.

"I wanted to be Carmen Tan of It Has To Be You."

Einne raised her brow in silence, that heroine cliche that keeps her colleagues being preoccupied and suffer her to finish their reports.

"Those lazy monkeys!" Einne slammed her hands on the lavatory after she washes her face. "How could they shoved their work on me and pleaded with various emergency but reading novels with lengthy chapters was it?"

Looking at her blurred eyeglasses, she wipes it with frustration and wear it.

If she would be given a part in that damsel in distress evolving novel, she would be glad to be the villain.

" I'd be the villainess to that novel and surely return all the sleepless and eyebags she suffered by saving their reports.

It was the villain she wished for while looking at her reflection in the mirror. Be careful what you wished. Burying herself in the covers while trying to convince herself that it was just a nonsense dream.

"I begged you let it be dream. I'd rather wrestle my paper works and enjoy coffee break. I promise to be diligent, not to sleep a wink to finish my colleagues report and devote myself in overtime." she mumbled and trembled in anxiety. While clinging to the covers a strong force pulled them as if to expose her. It was a man beaming like a knight against the glow from the light but his angry expression strangle her in anguish as if she was guilty of something.

"Coreen! I told you many times that don't cross the line. How many times do Carmen suffer from you? How many times must I tell you that she was special to me? I kept on tolerating your actions our childhood's sake you have gone to far this time!" grabbed her collar with such strength as if to choke her. He must be the David guy, the every alpha and domineering male lead.

Einne struggled to break away from her and gasping for air. When he noticed that she was about to faint, he freed her. She cough multiple times and and cleared her throat. Should I die in the villain's stead? No way! What anger her is that the villainess is a scary masochist! This is unforgiving.

Looking at his hand as he was about to hit her in her perspective, she need to interfered, shooting darts to him. Deep sadness surges within her as if it was the villain's true affection, she could not rebut with him but she is not Coreen!

Einne pushed him to widen the gap. She remembered that Coreen didn't really pushed that Carmen but they had a heated argument before that it looked that she pushed her. That victim player and accuser! Wow what a match!

"You were not there! Friends? Fine, I rather not friends with you than be killed! Have I really pushed her? No! She just kept trembling and fall off on her own. Nobody believed me even you. You like her? Go ahead you freaking jerk! I really hate you!" ended it with a slap in his face.

"I'm not that villain like what you had in mind, I'm on a next level jerk!"

She stormed out the infirmary and lead the way amidst the prying gossipers. Her heels thud gloriously while her tears glisten against the light. She meet that victim player in the hall, looking traumatised at her. What a weak heroine! she thought. She paused in front of Carmen while everyone is watching.

"I wonder why the delicate and kind like you didn't even cleared that I didn't pushed you and you fall on your own? Don't be too immersed in playing role a victim, it doesn't work on me.Not on a villainess like me!" Einne passed ahead of her while she was nailed on the spot. David rushed to Carmen's side as if to console her. Looking back at that exact scene might be romantic but totally despised it. It bring her goosebumps and chills to her spine.

" What a horrible sight! It damaged my pure eyes."
