Einne recheck her luggage before she will be send to aiport. It will be her first time to go an unknown and strange place but it is better than to stay any second. The novel can still exist in order with another set of villainess, she is done to be toyed with fate and misfortunes. She held the ticket and silently prayed nobody can delay nor accidents on her flight.
It wouldn't be selfish for her to live for herself since she was dragged inside the novel. Living as Coreen Lin might not be as bad as she thinks if she could enjoy luxury that was forgotten in her reality. It was just a walk in a park, she always mutt to herself when she feels antsy over small things.
"Coreen!" it was Eden called her downstairs, she responded quickly and eat a sumptuous breakfast with her father and Eden.
Coreen's father is too stoic and stiff that she couldn't enjoy the food. His glances where asking many questions that he silently ask with his deadly stares. She just politely smiled at him and focused on her meal. The breakfast may grand but the atmosphere is too awkward that no one of them speak during the meal.
Finally Coreen's dad finally clear his throat and began to strike a conversation to her.
"It seems you are now awake and realized that your immature actions get you nowhere."
She just nod quickly as she aligned her utensils.
"I was too blind with obsession that I always humiliate you father." she responded in agreement to appease him.
"I am glad that you are already aware of that." His arrogance echoed in her ears that she is uncomfortable to sit with him. Endure, endure, she chanted silently while trying to figure out how to avert his killing gazes. Her trembling hands couldn't hold her glasses properly that no matter how thirsty she was, she just resisted so well.
"Anyway," it was Eden who broke the silence and ease the tension, she gently pat Einne's back and winked at her, telling her she will handle the rest. "I believe Coreen will do well in Berlin hon. You know kids sometimes rebel and she already passed that phase. You already know how delighted her new professors to accept her."
"Well, if you say so." he just shrug his shoulders and continue his meal.
Beads of sweat trickled in her face as she tried to wipe them in discreet.
"Well, what a lovely morning." Eden greeted at them as if she was feasting with her scenery while awkwardness between the two diffused in the air.
After breakfast, his dad, or Coreen's dad insists in sending her off in the airport. She sobs quietly as she agreed. It seems her few hours will not be spared with discomfort. His novel-dad isn't that bad but an intimidating aura exudes in him. It was only Eden's existence bring balance to her novel family.
Since she was trapped for good in this cliche story she must capcized the whole plot and divert her supposed to be end. She isn't Coreen anyway, she is her own person and she is responsible for her end. The quiet and tedious office work she left and preferred can no longer she retrieved. Perhaps it is not bad to live the way she wants after all she was dragged without her permission. She looked at her parents as they bid her goodbye as the flight she took was announced. They were the only persons in the novel that she is sure to rescue her. Her road in becoming a villain is in her red list. In her new journey, they will be no David, no Carmen, no villainess and no tragic end. She swore in the name of her company who overworked and underpay her. She will return and live the way she wanted.
Einne looked outside as the plane, as the minute city paint in her mind. She is in unknown place and going to unknown place. Berlin was her life's fantasy and becoming reality in this life. This is now or never, it is her pleasure to exit gracefully from all of the drama as her future unfolds to her. She closed her eyes as sleep knocks her. Her head sways to and fro and finally rested on wide and warm shoulders. The bearer grew irritated and tried to push her head back but she unconsciously snake her arms to him tightly. He tried to calm himself.
"What a nuisance!" he cursed inwardly and tried to review his passport with his name Dmitri Young.
The plane started to depart for 8 hours ride while a man looked it as it ascended towards a place of uncertainty. He was sending someone inconspicuously. There is reluctance to his hidden farewell but he is so sure that they will crossed paths again.
"You said I haven't known you since then, it seems you were right about that."
It was a call that interrupted him and he quickly answered it.
"Yes, this is David."
