Chapter 57 - The Hero.

Won's vision faded as his body began to move through space, the dense pocket he moved through emanated great pressure causing his newly constructed and stronger bones to creak slightly.

At Won's Cultivation splitting open the world and opening the void, a distorted space was possible. Yet to actually traverse the void it was difficult.

Void travelling was mostly done by Nihility realm Cultivators as they could somewhat easily move through the void without issue. Void travelling was still dangerous. The Void was a special place which existed between worlds, in this Special place space had been so heavily distorted that one could travel hundreds of Kilometers in seconds. Yet that pocket dimensions space was exceedingly volatile and even more so exhausting.

Thus someone at Won's Cultivation would have no place using the void so easily and to such distances in one go. Typically Void travelling even for Nihility realm Cultivators couldn't spend long periods of time in the Void and had to do it repeatedly in intermittent gaps.

Won appeared in front of a soldier.

The soldier was stunned and quickly attacked Won.

Won twisted his head to the side easily dodging the attack.

The soldier finally realized it was Won and said in shock, "Your Majesty!"

Won asked, "How is the battle going?"

The solider quickly answered, "We haven't had big losses, about a hundred men. Yet it's getting harder and harder to deal with them."

Won nodded and flew off turning into a blur.

He used {Aim} and {1,000,000 Golden Buddha palms}.

A million golden arrows flew through the air striking countless men and women who ran rampage in the battlefield.

They dropped like flies, without any ability to fight back.

Meanwhile those who were given a moment to live shuddered and ran in fear.

They exclaimed, "Why is Ito's God here! Wasn't the Patriarch going to fight him?"

"Wait if he's here... Does that mean our Patriarch is dead?"

Shock and terror filled their faces and they ran even faster.

Yet like a hand of Buddha capturing the Monkey King it seemed as if Won's attack surrounded everything.

Very soon the battlefield which had once been filled with ferocious warriors and braves battling through a thin line between life and death, had become a hell with blood having bleached the ground and heinous oder of death penetrated into one's very skin.

In the eyes of those of Ito Won was a great God who stood mightily in front of the invaders.

To those of Sangria who had yet to breathe their last breath, Won created a Shadowy apparition in their hearts that would forever haunt them. Even the Tea of Old Lady Meng couldn't wash away their fear.

Won breathed out.

Yet he felt something off, it was just his senses telling him something was off. It had no reason.

In the sky above a great and big screen appeared. It was hard to see, but it captured everything that was happening.

This screen appeared overhead all of the Regions of Ito, and all middle sized and big sized Empires.

The screen above Toko captured the images and the screens above the other locations projected them with crystal clear imagery.

Those outside of Toko were confused as to what was happening.

Although Won felt something off, he couldn't find anything and led his troops back to Toko.

The citizens were all on their knees paying respect towards Won.

Meanwhile a bit away from Toko a man atop a horse came to stop.

He laughed, his lips twisting up into a despicable sneer.

He held a wand. The wand was sleek and very clean, such that it even gleamed. Coils of lightning could be seen carved alongside tongues of fires dancing. Both of those mighty forces seemed to kneel to the winged dragon who was engraved onto the wand.

The man was Prince Yangmeng.

He said coldly as he stared out, "Let me show the world who you truly are."

He pointed out with the wand and the skies above began to roll. Clouds spread outwards.

Golden and lightning began to race across the clouds and from the ground tongues of fire rose. The two met and a great orb was formed. The orb was bright and burnt like the sun.

With the wail of a Dragon in the wind, the Orb flew with a ferocious velocity towards Toko.

With how bright and intense the heat was those of Toko had already noticed it even though it still was a bit away.

Warning and alarm erupted out and screeches of fear rose.

Even Won with his new strength felt his heart tense and his blood run cold. The intense bellows of heat that touched his skin were horrible and intense.

Won said fearfully, "The Orb of YingLong."

The Orb of YingLong was the strongest card that Sangria held. The Orb of YingLong was something even Nihility realm experts could do nothing but die in front of. It was the condensed essence of YingLong and the divine forces used to bind the Wand of YingLong together.

It could only be used every thousand years due to the strain on the Wand, but Sangria had just used it.

The natural fear of death stuck into every single person of Toko, as they raced away doing every little thing possible to survive. With a majority crumbling to the ground, shaking in absolute terror.

Even Won felt his heart race and his instincts roar at him to run away, to abandon all good and bad just to survive.

He was about to leave when the yelp of a baby erupted out.

Won looked back and saw a woman cradling her baby, tears falling down as she covered the baby trying Whatever she could to protect her baby.

He saw an old man with a wooden leg being carried by two other men as they raced away.

Won turned towards the blinding orb heading towards them.

He closed his eyes. The noise filling the world silenced.

Won leapt forward, with great intensity.

Won yet again gazed at the blazing ball of energy that caused the sky to darken and which shot flames tongues of flames that could incinerate a human body in moments, the increased closeness upon which he looked upon the orb of destruction served to reiterate it's great strength

Coming to a fair distance away from Toko, he began to levitate.

He clasped his hands together and a gigantic Golden Buddha appeared in the sky. It was as big as a mountain and pierced past the clouds. Behind it was two wheels. The wheel of reincarnation and the Wheel of the Dharma.

The Buddha put his hand forward and millions upon millions of Golden Palms speared forward, with a frightening speed.

Won roared as his Meridians began to churn, as his True Qi sped increasingly fast.

As soon as the palms made contact with the ball of flames that wished to raze the world to ashes, they dissapeared one after another.

It was like a battle between a stampede of ants and giant rampaging elephant.

Won put everything he could to bear the Orb of YingLong.

Won bit his lip and focused sharply.

Millions of golden palms converged into one great and massive hand. Each stretched hand coiled and twisted around another.

The great hand caught the orb, but it Continuously began to collapse.

The orb eventually reached Won. Won frowned and began to use {Reverse Heaven Spiral}, {Magic circle of Healing}, {Magic circle of strength increase}, {Boost +} and everything else he could.

Won's hand began to burn, turning ashen as the orb pushed him forth. His muscles and skin were burning and an indescribable wave of pain flooded his body.

As he feet tore apart the ground as he was continuously pushed by the extremely heavy dense ball of destruction, as the Buddha's palms snapped like twigs again and again, and the large hand began to tremble and shake with fingers falling off.

The scene looked mighty and epic. Such that no man or woman could take their eyes off, even as his pained screams reached frightening heights. As they watched a single man, a young man grab destruction by the horns and embrace it. The scene shown to everyone was terrible and could cause nightmares, as flesh bubbled and muscle boiled. As bone poked out. Blood splattered like blood flowers from Won's body as his tendons and muscle simply gave way. Veins popped alongside his hands creating a menacing appearance, lacking any comfort or refinement.

As Won's hands burnt and eventually finger by finger his body began to turn into ash, he kept abusing his dantian and soul as millions of millions amounting to Billions of palms, acted as one Inviolable force shot out to grab destruction by it's disgusting tendrils and stop it.

Just a bit away from the city walls where thousands stared at Won in hope and admiration. Won's feet dug deeply into the ground as the seemingly limitless ball of destruction stopped. Even as his arms had been destroyed and his body broken and abused he pressed hard against the incoming destruction not allowing it to defeat him. At this point with no hands to use anymore, he was left having to use his chest. Yet he had successfully stopped the Orb of YingLong progressing.

In a final burst of desire the ball tried to explode itself and cause as much harm as it could, yet would Won allow that?

Won roared furiously as blood tears streamed down his face. The billion of palms rose to the sky and began to press down on the ball causing it to slowly sink down, deeper and deeper.

A massive hole with dimensions hard to observe kept being dug deeper and deeper.

Won opened his eyes wide as he saw the ball begin to glow violently. Forming a wall of hands behind him. Guarding Toko. Won roared as palms kept hitting the ball of destruction deeper and deeper.

Just then a large column of red light rose to the sky blinding the world.

Dust fell and a resentful wave of heat spread out.

As the wall of hands slowly broke down like glass they saw a man standing without arms dressed by the noon sunlight. His face amazing and mighty, his hair madly flying in the wind. He looked too glorious.

The man's eyes were a pale color and dried blood tinged the corners of his mouth and eyes. With pools of blood at his feet.

The man sat as the orange sun hit him. Silently still.

Minutes trickled by.

Eventually the man collapsed down.

Countless men raced towards Won, worry and fear prevalent in their eyes.

Won's breath was very low, so low in fact it would nearly be impossible to sense. His chest had been so damaged that each movement was limited, his muscles had simply given away.

Won was carried gently back to Toko where hundreds of thousands of people stared in intense fear and sadness that made them collapse.

Whatever medicine was found was instantly shoved into Won's mouth.

Even if it was a Medicinal pellet for skin rashes, they hurriedly put it into Won's mouth hoping the energy of Heaven and Earth inside them would help Won recover.

In fact although Won was greatly injured such to the fact even a year of normal recovery wouldn't completely heal him, due to his recent advancement not only had his defence increased, the boundary between foundation and Golden Core was a big one and meant the advancing of ones state of existence.

Thus Won's healing abilities were to such an extreme that he was already in a stable state.

Yet now that these medicines had been shoved into his mouth, his body churned as their impure Qi rushed into his lower Dantian being converted to True Qi. The True Qi Won had exhausted reached all the way back up to his peak and then surpassed it. Won's body automatically began to channel that excess Qi to enhance and heal Won's body.

In fact some latent potential from the lighting began to be used and Won's muscles and tendons began to tremble.

Rapidly the melted flesh and the charred skin began to regrow. Now with a greater Strength such that if one knocked hard only the sound of hitting metal would ring out.

Won's eyes widened as he awoke.

Those around him began to shed tears of joy and content as they saw their Emperor wake up.

The children by Won's side piled onto him crying begging him to swear not to do anything like that again.

Meanwhile Won was in a state of shock and took a few breaths to understand his situation.

Eventually a small smile appeared on his face as he laughed aloud.

The citizens similarly became hypnotized and began to laugh, with content tears lingering.

Won then caught sight of Yuna.

Yuna walked forward, her brows locked and her bottom lip tightly caught by her teeth.

Won was shocked to see her so angry.

Before he could speak she had arrived before him.

Won felt that similar to how he had berated her for her foolishness, she would also do so.

Sighing he awaited a scolding and even a beating.

Yet she embraced him. Crying loudly as her arms even as they trembled tightly held onto Won.

Won felt his heart become riddled in pain, yet also a warmth.

He hugged Yuna.

The two stayed in one another's arms.
