Princess Liviana's POV
"Why the fck are you reading that book?" I raised one eyebrow at him. He looked so bored. While on our travel way back home, I decided to read a book about the werewolf. I bought the book at the market, and even it is fiction, it caught my attention. This book contains information about werewolf though I know they don't really exist, do they?
So, the book says that according to folklore, werewolf is a human with the ability to shape shift into a wolf. Werewolves have control over their shifts and the full moon has nothing to do with it. They are not mindless monsters controlled by lust for blood or have savage animal instincts, they are simply humans with the ability to shape shift into a wolf. Their human mind has complete control of the wolf.
"I think you're a werewolf." I blurted out seriously. He immediately looked at me in disbelief. His eyes widen and he looked really shocked. What the hell?
"W-What the fck are you saying?" He asked as he stuttered.
"I think the wolf that is visiting me is you, am I correct?" I asked as I tried to sound serious, but at the back of my mind I was laughing in his incredible reaction.
"That book is corrupting your mind, my Princess. Stop reading it." He said as he diverted his gaze.
"But you two really have the same eyes." I said. "Also, as what the book says, werewolf is a human with the ability to shape shift into a wolf. So, there's a possibility that you two are the same person, right?" I asked as I teased him with a smile.
"Werewolf is not true, it's fiction story that people created to make fun of wolves." He said without meeting my gaze and he sounded and looked irritated. His ears turned red.
I looked at him suspiciously. "But you seem to care about them." I said while smiling.
He looked at me in disbelief. "Why would I care on something that isn't true?" He asked.
I shook my head as I smiled. "All right, your highness. As you said so." I said.
"Wait up! I think we forgot something." He suddenly said while in deep thought.
"What is it?" I asked as I continued reading the book.
"I can't remember. It has something to do with the festival." He said as he massages his forehead. He has the memory of 95 years old man.
"Is it about the deal?" I asked as he stopped from massaging his forehead.
I smiled. I think he remembered now. "Is it the archery competition?" I asked.
He looked at me with shocked expression. "What the fck?" He shouted.
"Don't blame me. I forget about it as well because of some unexpected events." I said as I flipped the page of the book.
"That's my only chance!" He yelled in frustration.
"What chance?" I asked curiously.
"You will do whatever I want once you lose, right?" He asked.
"If I lose, jerk. Only IF I lose." I corrected him with a boring face.
"Yeah, whatever. So if that happened, I want you to make love with me." He said with confidence as he smirked. Out of irritation, I closed the book and I smashed it to his face. "What the hell?! Why did you do that?!" He asked as he holds his face.
"That was because you annoyed the hell out of me." I said casually as I flipped the book open again.
"What's the matter with my request? It's a deal, right?" He asked casually.
"It was a cancelled deal. Get over it, your highness." I said.
"Well, it can't be helped." He said with a sorrow expression.
I sighed. "Love making is not a thing that you can win over a deal, all right? We are married and it is usual for us to do that." I explained.
His face expression brightens up and I mentally slapped my face. I instantly want to take back what I just said because I think I got his hope high. "Really?" He asked happily.
I nodded with a awkward smile. "Yeah, but not now." I said.
"What?" He asked disappointedly. "You're making me excited then left me all the way to the peak of my happiness." He said dramatically.
"What the hell are you saying?" I asked.
"Nothing. Leave me alone." He said as he moved on the corner of the carriage. He was sulking in his own doing. I chuckled because I found him cute. I did not know that he has this kind of character. "You have the audacity to laugh at me?" He asked while sniffing. He was pretending that he was crying.
"I was laughing because you're so adorable, my dear husband." I said as I chuckled.
He suddenly looked at me with a smile. Gosh, he's so easy to teas. "Really?" He asked as he widens his smile.
"Indeed. You're my most adorable husband inside this carriage." I said. I thought he will be happy to hear these words, but he made a face instead. "What?" I asked.
"Don't go near me or else I will force you to make love with me." He said angrily. I laughed at him as he moved and sulked again.
After several hours, we arrived at our destination. "Lili!" I heard two voices yelled my name. I instantly looked at Connor and Colten who are running with both arms wide open. I run to hug them. "Welcome back!" They both said in unison.
"I'm home!" I said as we laughed.
"Welcome home, my dearest daughter!" I looked at the Queen who's happily looking at us. I curtsied and hugged her. "Oh my! I missed you!" She said.
"I missed you, too, mother. I'm home." I said smiling. I never felt this happy when going home. This is my home, they are my home. I'm happy to be part of this family.
"May I remind you that I am here?" Conrad interrupted our happy reunion. His mother and brothers laughed at him. "What? Didn't you guys miss me too?" He asked. Connor and Colten looked at him boringly, and then they walked beside me. They hooked their arms on mine and they dragged me inside the castle. They practically ignored their brother.
"What the fck!?" I heard Conrad shouted as his two brothers cracked up. What a nice way to welcome us. I missed this!
