Prince Conrad's POV
After almost feels like forever, Dominique, the witch whom we summoned, exited our room. She informed us that my wife dozed off while she was talking. I sighed deeply hearing that. Maybe she's still tired that she went to slumber. Dominique also told us that she cast a spell on Lili to help in regaining her energy and to get her well as soon as possible. She asked the permission of the King and Queen to stay by my wife's side until she was done healing her. Our parents agreed to her as long as she can help my wife.
However, Connor was so dismayed when he found out about that. I want to ask him why he's treating his mate like that, but I halt and realized that I did the same thing to my wife back then. I am not in the right position to tell him what's right and wrong since I am not a good image of a righteous mate.
