The way Wade had said 'five minutes', it seemed to be a lot of time given to us.
Considering the fact that we had just arrived after a tiring journey, we should have been given at least half a day to rest. However, we said goodbye and went to our assorted rooms. Mine was beside Oliver and Xavier. I didn't know where Rock Flames's room was.
Beside the semi-circular white door that did not allow me to enter, there was a small black screen. As soon as I faced it, the screen came to life and greeted me, "Good afternoon, Mr. Blaze Hunt. Verifying using face unlocking technology. Welcome to room 144." Apparently, room 144 was my room number. If the number had reached till 144, I imagined the amount of rooms this place would be consisting of.
The white curved door separated from both the sides, sliding open. Even the glimpse was enough for me to be sure that the room was awesome. I walked in, taking in the sweet scent spread through the whole room. My bed was as big as three beds combined. I wanted to jump on it but the attraction my room presented me with was tempting. I looked around. There was a metal rod on the wall. It was hollow from top but had a surface below. I knew it was for keeping weapons.
There was a wall-folding table where I could sit and do my work. I experimented with the lights which changed in many colors, disco lights, included rainbow rays. I kept it at white, the default light and looked around.
I went into the bathroom. The rain shower covered the whole bathroom which was unlike the small ones I had seen before. The washbasin was of high-quality material. There were yet many things to cover up but I knew that I didn't have time.
I had kept my shoulder bag on the luxurious bed I had. From it, I took out new clothes and went had a bath because I smelt like dirty socks. I dressed up fast, and though I was tempted to stay in the room forever, I walked out, the doors sliding open on their own.
Outside, I saw that everyone was already present, waiting for me. As usual, I was the late one. Wade smiled and led the way. "Now we will go to the Battle Arena." Wade said. Out of nowhere, I noticed Rock Flames who was now walking with us. "Get ready because this is no less than a dream." He proudly announced.
We were taking to a place I hadn't been before. It was away from the real working space, a little to the corner. The two white metal doors were huge, unlike any of our rooms'. But it also had a verifying screen. It started talking as we came close to it. "Verifying warriors. Any of the DELTAs can wish to enter anytime. They all are verified." The screen's robotic girlish voice was sweet.
The doors slid open. We entered the huge room. It was like a whole other headquarters. It was half the size of the DELTA Headquarters. There were several different tools and machines. Then Wade said, "Ok DELTAs, let's see if you can survive through this."
