NOTITIA
After arriving at the town which Blaze and the others directed, Stalane was now aimlessly walking around. Her plan was to get more information from the people that were in the town, but she does not know who she should talk to.
Stalane noticed that someone was walking towards her. She secretly observed the guy who's trying to approach her. She doesn't feel any harmful intent coming from him, but she can't read the guy's thoughts. As an expert, she knows how to read someone by simply observing them. She could easily understand what the other party were worrying or thinking about.
"A hunter, huh?" The guy said as he approached Stalane.
She raised her brows, "You are?"
"Oh! You could call me Syton. Did I weird you out? Sorry about that. I was just bothered, so I thought to help a co-braver. You're new here too, right?" The guy introduced himself.
Stalane was surprised that the guy named Syton figured out that she was new although she didn't do anything suspiciously. She started to put herself on guard, since she thought that the guy is not simple as what he looks like.
"How did you know?" Stalane consciously asked.
Syton shrugged, "You look like those newbie in a game who does not know where to start. I'm also new to this world but since you're quite a pretty lady, let me give you some tips!"
The guy started to swipe something on air. "I added you as a friend, accept my request so I could contact you through telepathy. These information that I have could be sold, you know? You're actually lucky to meet me!" He bragged.
Just like what Syton said, Stalane received a notification on her head saying that he added her. Although, she was suspicious of him she still did what he told her.
After accepting his friend request, Syton immediately contacted Stalane. "Are you really new? You already have a high stats! You're so damn op already!" Syton commented as he stared at his hologram screen while talking to her through telepathy.
"What?" Stalane confusingly asked.
"You could check someone's statistics on their profile. You could only do this if you are already friends. Oh! Please don't check mine. I'm still building up my stats. It's too embarrassing compared to yours" Syton answered.
Stalane became doubtful so she tried to confirm it, "Do you just wanted to check my stats?"
"Well, yeah. I guess?" He unsurely said.
Stalane sighed. "So? What's the information you were gonna share with me?"
"About the statistics is already one. Second, have you not wondered how I noticed that you were a braver like me?"
Now that Syton mentioned it, she just remembered how keen he was. "How?"
Syton smiled as if he was about to boast about the information he have. "It's simple. You could see the class and names of someone on top of their head if you're 10 meters near to them. Of course, this consumes your mp. I guess it's because you're getting an information about someone without their permission. I don't know if this also applies with the weapon class or with the other class. All you have to do is look on top of your target's head and say the word 'notitia'."
Stalane tried what Syton taught her. She whispered "Notitia" and just as how Syton described she saw Syton's name and class on top of his head.
"Does it consume your mp?" Syton asked.
Stalane checked her mp and she noticed that it did consume some of her mp. "A bit. I think I lost 5 mp"
Syton whistled at her answer. "That's awesome! The mp consumption whenever I use notitia is about 15 mp!"
She was surprised by what she have heard. Was it really because she's in a weapon class?
"I would've chosen weapon class if I knew it would have a perks like this!" Syton ranted.
"Anyways, you can differentiate a Braver, Adventurer, People of the Land and a monster or a mob through notitia. A braver have a white named color, an adventurer have a yellow named color, a People of the Land have a orange named color, and a monster or a mob have a red named color" He continued his explanation.
Stalane stared at him wondering how he got this information. Syton seemed to notice what she was thinking about thus he smiled proudly.
"Also, you might already know this but the most basic thing you need to have is Gou! If you have a lot of Gou, you could buy information from the more experienced bravers, and of course some foods!"
"Gou is the term used in this world for money?"
"That's right!"
Syton taught Stalane all the things he have learned about Leouve world. He does not know why, but Syton just felt like he needs to help her when he saw her. Once he was done, he bid his farewell to Stalane.
"I have a subquest to finish to earn some Gou. If you have any more questions, you could contact me through telepathy anytime. Of course, I'll be asking for some payment next time" Syton playfully said as he winks at Stalane.
She nods at him, "Hmm. You have my thanks"
Syton walks away as he keep thinking about something. "She's not even my type but I wonder what's this feeling?" He asked himself as he stares at his hand that was shaking.
When Syton was out of Stalane's sight, she looked at Syton's stats on his profile.
She gasped in surprise, "You're kidding"
