Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: Ring of Fire

At the beginning of my travels, dimension-hopping and walking through various planes of existences, I came across a relic that was believed to be the origin of a planet where mortals live. This relic was given various names throughout eras, but one I found most suitable for it is the "Ring of Fire".

Cheesy, I know. But it's my show and my stuff, shut up.

This Ring of Fire was said to be created from a God named Ignius, the God of fire. This ring was said to be created from the just forming metals of 2 colliding suns, so hot that the process burned of Ignius' hands through the process. This ring was then given to a spirit, beings that exist the moment the dimension was first created. It was told by Ignius to use it to create a planet capable of human life. As such, the spirit did.

The planet's crust was shaped and combined through the various natural debris and rocks that surround the area, where the first planet came to be. Then the sun was created and the moon. The spirit's job was completed, however, it did not know what to do with this ring after. As such, it was chucked towards the planet, for the first humans to discover it.

It would then be assumed that the first man who came across this ring discovered 3 things that shaped how society worked. Magic, fire and metal, these factors led to this world's eternal struggle with war, eventually leading to the ring unable to keep up with the demands of its masters, resulting in it expending all its power, making half of the entire planet unlivable due to the scorching heat the ground gives out.

Now after millennia, the ring and its powers faded from history, with its intense heat and power, reduced into being a cigarette lighter that was now manufactured and sold as novelties.

Quiet the "lore-heavy" relic and I assure you that in time, I would love to share more about the specific stories that surrounded this ring before it melted half the planet.
