(SKYLAR)
I picked up a mauve-colored top from the rack in front of me and admired the pearls around its neckline. Holding it up in front of Maddy's face I asked, "This?"
Maddy tilted her head as she observed the fabric, "Mmm.." she held it between her two fingers and rubbed them against the cloth. "I think it's okay," she shrugged and moved onto the next piece of clothing in that rack.
It was a Sunday today and we were out shopping after a very long time.
"I think we should start keeping a spare key inside a potted plant and put it outside our door," I suggested, recalling the events from last night.
"I guess," she lifted her shoulders and presented a light green-colored top in front of me. It had a boatneck neckline with half-sleeves that were somewhat puffy. "This?"
I scrunched my nose and shook my head. Maddy placed the cloth back. "But I can't believe that you made up a lie on the spot. I didn't think you had it in you."
