"So, tell me. How did this happen?" Jeremy asked, looking at Jordan and me.
The four of us were sitting around the coffee table, two on each couch, with Jeremy and Maddy sitting in front of us.
I could smell the intoxicating cologne off of Jordan. He was sitting too close to me. Closer than I wanted him to.
With his arm splayed behind my seat, Jordan inched closer, "Do you want to tell him, or should I?" he asked, smiling like a lovesick idiot.
If there was an Oscar for the fake boyfriend category, I'd give it to him.
"I'll go first," I forced a smile and looked at Jeremy. "Like he said in the interview… We met at a coffee shop downtown. It was around 6 months ago. I obviously knew who he was. And it was actually because of you that I approached him in the first place," I said.
"Me?" Jeremy was puzzled. "What do you mean?"
