After Max left and all formalities for discharging Maddy were completed, Jeremy took her to his place for a surprise. He had planned to ask her to move in with him in a grand gesture. I was happy for Maddy.

I was on my way back to Jordan's apartment. With the deadline for the magazine closing in, I had a lot of work to do and very little time to do it.
