(JORDAN)
The scene at the club was as it has always been. A few people were in the middle of the club, bodies laden with sweat, writhing against each other, swaying from side to side to the upbeat tunes that the Dj was playing.
Alec and I descended the stairs and went straight for the bar.
Everything was much bluer in the light inside the club. Only the bar was lit up brighter than the rest of the area. Although we usually booked a separate area in the VIP lounge of the club, today we decided to skip it.
While I frequented this club quite often, it had been a few days since I last came here. I think the last time I was here was the night before that dinner with Rose.
Many things had changed in the short span since then.
"Hey, Paige," Alec grinned at the bartender as she came in front of us. I sat facing the dancing people in the club.
She gave a flirty smile to Alec. "Hey, Alec. Long time no see."
