"Alright, then, stop right here," said Ruan to his driver.
"Certainly," the driver replied before he gently hit the brake.
The driver got off the car before he opened the door for his young master. The clothes he wore were professional with gloves and stuff but his face was always covered somehow.
Ruan got off the car and saw that there were no bystanders nearby nor anyone at that matter. His clothes were even worth less than what the driver wore but even the fools knew that his position was higher.
(Damn, this is a really nice car) thought Ruan as he rubbed the roof of the car.
"I'm sure young master can buy it one day," said the driver with a bow.
"Hmm? You think so?" said Ruan.
"Certainly."
Ruan rubbed his chin before he replied, "Hey, you know how much grandfather is worth?"
It was the best moment for him to ask such a question. After all, the most difficult task could be so simple if he just asked and got an answer. Ten million life points, his greedy heart for gambling was unstoppable, especially in a game where he could never lose. (Have to get every little detail I can get).
The driver smiled, "I'm sorry young master, I'm but a driver for the 'Tey' family."
"Then do you know someone who knows about grandfather?"
The driver bowed, "Maybe master Suan Tey is more knowledgeable."
Ruan squinted his eyes (Of course my father would know, but would he tell me that easily? Of course not). He nodded against the driver before leaving the car.
"Have a good day, young master," said the driver with a bow before entering the car and drove away.
Ruan put his hands in his pockets as he walked toward his house behind the intersection. As soon as he turned around, there was a pair of humans steadily waiting in front of the gate of the house. The male brought a camera on his right shoulder while the female was holding a microphone in her hand.
She was a beautiful woman with a slender figure. Her blue navy blouse was covered by an unbuttoned black coat that was a perfect match for her long black jeans. She had a pearl white complexion with a hint of freckles on top of her nose, under her glistening green eyes. Her eyelashes were inviting every time she blinked and her ears were covered by her silky smooth golden hair that was tied to a ponytail with bangs in front.
Ruan blinked twice as he stared at the beauty before he gulped a chunk of his saliva. Never did he thought that he would meet such a blessing in the middle of the day. His heart thumped as the woman in question took a glance in his direction. Her smile was grandees before she walked toward him with her partner rushing in behind her.
"Excuse me, sir?" asked the beautiful lady.
Her question snapped him back to reality before he asked, "Huh?"
"Are you Ruan Tey?"
(Be yourself!!) the voice of his grandfather screamed out of nowhere in his thought like a gong. It echoed in his mind as he couldn't help but smirk.
"Yes, I....am...??"
He raised his eyebrows as he noticed his father in a wheelchair with his mother pushing from behind. They also raised their eyebrows before they frantically yet silently hid behind an electricity post. His eyebrows twitched (That's the dumbest hiding spot, ever) as they peek from the side.
"Hey idiot, what are they saying?" asked Ruan's mother to his husband.
"I don't know, you think this is a Korean drama or something? You can't overhear their conversation from this distance!" rebuked his husband.
(Damn, they are making a ruckus over there) thought Ruan as he saw his father being strangled.
"Hmm?" the reporter tried to turn back before Ruan immediately opened his eyes wide and grabbed her shoulder to cancel the movement.
Ruan didn't realize what he had done as he stared at her closely. Her glossy lips were inviting as he took a gulp. There was no way a man could ever resist that. His cheeks turned a red hue as he realized the situation he was in. His heart raced like he had a sprint coming home.
The lady was agape at his action and saw the blush on his cheeks before she had one on her own. Her lips slightly trembled as she saw his deep eyes.
Under the broad daylight, Suan Tey had his eyes bulging out from the force his wife was putting out on his neck as they saw them kissing from their point of view.
The lady blinked innocently before Ruan snapped back to reality and let go of her shoulder. He bowed and apologized, "I'm sorry!" before he glanced to the right only to see the camera's lens glared right into his face.
"Eh?" gulped Ruan before he asked, "Is this thing... on?"
The lady's partner nodded.
"Like, live, streaming on?"
He nodded once again.
Ruan's figure was petrified as he felt a shock from the heavens. (So that means..).
*bruu!
Luke spat out his drinks as he saw his best friend was kissing a reporter on live television. There was no way that was an act. Though the scene didn't show his lips and hers connected since the angle was from behind the lady, would the masses believe otherwise? Most likely not. Without a doubt, this will be talked about a lot on social media.
Luke immediately opened his phone and lo and behold. The top trending of his local news was obviously none other than the man himself.
"Goddamn bro, goddamn..." said Luke as he took another sip. It was only yesterday where he visited the hospital and Ruan was not there. He was looking forward talking about how the police interviewed him not long after his visit but it seemed like it had to wait since another more sensational event happened.
