"Hmm, you look healthy," chuckled Ruan's dad.
"Ack! My chest! Oooh oooh, uh!" cried Ruan as he slowly laid his body back to the bed. The bandage around his chest had a tint of red. "Ah... ah... did I opened my wound?"
Luke answered, "Sure did, but damn it, man, I can't believe you would wake up over something like that, bring me back my tears goddamnit!"
Ruan's dad laughed, "You guys are a good friend with each other. Treasure it and be there for each other's thick and thin."
Ruan looked at his dad with a furrowed eyebrows before he said, "Dad, did you drink again?"
"How rude, do you think I can't spat out some wise words just because I drank three glasses of red wine and four bottles of beers with a shot of seven glasses of coffee? Bah, your mother taught you nonsense over the last few years," said Ruan's dad with a single breath.
Luke and Ruan opened their eyes wide as they looked at him in disbelieve. There was no way you could do that, or maybe you could, but only once.
Ruan noticed one of his dad's hands was dyed red and it was dripping on top of his laptop before he bluntly asked, "Dad, is that blood?"
Ruan's dad raised his eyebrows before he hid his hand behind the laptop as his eyes looked away. "W-what blood? There is no blood, no blood."
Ruan's eyes turned flat as he said, "Dad, we can see you clearly."
Ruan's dad let out a sigh before his voice suddenly deepened and his eyes looked at him as if a thousand blades were released in the air through the stare alone. The tension in the VVIP room instantly increased as he said, "Do you really want to know?"
Ruan gulped his saliva as he grabbed a glass from the bedside table and nodded.
Ruan's dad let out another sigh, "I guess, it is time for you to know huh, I guess you are old enough now."
"Ah, I think I will excuse myself," said Luke as he hurriedly left the room for the two.
"What secret do you keep dad?" asked Ruan as he put his lips on the glass of water without blinking at his father.
"It's not a secret, you will eventually know this sooner or later," said Ruan's dad before he continued, "I fisted your mother."

He spat out the drink that almost went past his throat toward the window on the side. It was quite remarkable to see that droplets of liquid were planted on it considering the distance between his sickbed and the window itself.
His dad laughed out loud before he shook his head, "Bet you didn't want to hear that."
"OF COURSE NOT! JESUS CHRIST DAD! Ow, ow, ow, ow, uh, uh, uhh."
His dad smiled, "Get some rest, tomorrow you are going to grandpa's house."
"Huh? What am I going to do there?" asked Ruan as he caressed his wounded chest.
"I don't know, or maybe I do. Besides, you used to love going there when you were a kid, why are you not happy now?"
Ruan let out a sigh, "That was the past father, I'm soon to be nineteen in three months what will I do in the countryside? Fishing?"
Ruan's dad shook his head with a smile, "You will see soon enough."
"Alright then, I will see you later."
Ruan's dad left the room before Ruan himself contemplated the matter. His grandfather was not a strict man just like his father, but there was something that always bothered him about that fact. He never ever saw him had any more emotion than happiness. He was an easygoing and open-minded man, that's why he was everyone's favorite.
(However, now that I think about it, he is insanely muscular and ripped for his age, he once carried me on his back while climbing a mountain with no ropes, god knows if I shat my pants or not at the time).
The door was opened and Luke went inside only to see his buddy rubbing his chin.
"Hey man, what are you thinking about? Oh yeah, you should watch this," said Luke as he reached out the remote on the nearby table.

The tv was turned on and it was showing animal documentaries, a lion in particular.
"Nope, that's not what I want to show you," said Luke as he changed the channel by pressing next. However, for the next ten channel, it was filled with animal documentaries.
"Why don't you just use a random number," suggested Ruan.
He shrugged and entered a random number before both of them stared in disbelief. It was actually a fish documentary, another animal documentary. (How many of them they have?!).
"Here let me do it," said Ruan as he took the remote from Luke's hand.
He entered a random number and the channel was switched. Pop music was heard and a sexy model was walking the catwalk in a bikini with overabundance confidence. It was clearly a fashion show somewhere. He tried to enter another random number, however, miraculously, he opened the channel of some type of gravure photoshoots.
"Lmao, okay man, you're the god here," laughed Luke.
"It's not funny," said Ruan before he continued, "It's a pride."
Both of them laughed before Ruan said, "Ah! You son of a bitch that hurt! Oooh, ooh, uh.. uh."
Meanwhile on the other level of the building. The only corridor with no visitors, Ruan's dad opened the only room there before the old doctors bowed followed by the young.
"Leave."
Only one word escaped from his mouth but the old doctor didn't dare to protest in the slightest. He left the room with the young one following behind him.
As soon as the door closed, Ruan's Dad stood up and relaxes his neck as he approached the sleeping robber. He buried his fingers into his palm as veins popped up on his forearms. He slowly pulled it before he shouted, "WAKE UP!"
"Huh....?!"
The robber was jolted to reality before the first thing he saw with his right eye was a fist coming at his face. The fist sunk in his face as his newly sewed cheeks ripped open by the heavy force. Blood immediately embroidered the pillow and ran through the fingers of Ruan's dad's fist as he pulled it out.
"Kk-kk-k-k.. me."
"You think it would be that easy huh?" said Ruan's dad as he lashed out another assault before knocking him out.
"Tch," he used the white sheet of the bed to wipe the blood out of his hand before pressing the bell to call the nurse.
He sat down on the wheelchair before exiting the room to which the same pair of doctors already stood in standby, "I'll be back in an hour."
