As Haru turned into her room a black silhouette was at the end of the hall making its way towards the bedroom.
Haru quickly grabbed a suitcase from her closet and began putting all of her clothes in it along with some sentimental items from her family. She wanted to make sure she packed everything important fast and get out before Kiba came home. She was putting the last of her things into her suitcase and zipped it up.
"I knew you'd be back."
Haru jumped in surprise at the calm voice
"I was right. You're coming back to me. I knew you couldn't leave me." He began to walk towards Haru.
"Ki-Kiba Why aren't you at work?" Haru asked shakily
"I stayed home because I knew you'd come to your senses soon." He smirked.
"Kiba you got this all wrong I'm just here to grab my stuff and then I'm leaving." Haru stated.
"DONT LIE TO ME!" Haru jumped in fear "I know you're lying to yourself and you're lying to me." He began to slowly walk towards Haru like a lion stalking its prey.
"N-No Kiba I'm not lying I'm leaving. K-Ki-Kiba stop STAY AWAY!" Haru shouted.
"I know you still love me." He continued to walk towards her. Every step he took forward she took back and before she knew it her back was against the wall and she put her hand up against his chest to push him away. As her hand went up He grabbed her wrist.
"Ki-Kiba what are you doing? Le-Let me go! Haru began to panic and struggled to free her hand but he had a tight grip on it.
"I'm not gonna let go and I'm not gonna stop until you admit that you want to get back together with me." He calmly spoke. Haru was shaking the look in his eyes wasn't normal it was more menacing as if the rationality in him was no longer there.
"I don't want to get back with you Kiba. I already turned in the papers NOW LET ME GO!" Haru spoke firmly
Kiba's grip tightened Haru's wrist felt like it was getting crushed and in an instant Kiba slammed Haru's hand against the wall.
"AAAGHH" She screamed, tears began to appear at the corner of her eyes. Kiba looked at her and scoffed. "Pretending to be hurt won't make me let you go." He kept her hand pinned against the wall and moved closer and lowered his face to hers.
"I know you're hiding your feelings for me." He continued.
"No Kiba I don't love you anymore now please let me go!" She pleaded. Kiba's anger intensified and his grip tightened even more. Haru felt something snap and she screamed in pain.
Outside Hiro was waiting for Haru. He thought it was taking a bit too long and as his eyes wandered he noticed a car parked in the spot for her apartment complex. Realizing this he heard an ear shattering scream. "HARU!"
He ran into the house up to her room as fast as he could and saw her pinned against the wall by Kiba. Hiro took immediate action and lunged towards Kiba and pushed him off of her. Losing his balance Kiba let go of her and fell to the floor. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" Hiro roared. "You again!? I thought I told you to stay out of this boy!" Kiba snapped back. Seeing that Kiba was still in a daze Hiro quickly grabbed the suitcase and Haru's wrist and ran out the door.
"I KNOW YOU'LL BE BACK HARU!" Kiba yelled.
Hiro did not stop running and did not let go of Haru's wrist until they were in the elevator and the door was closed.
"Ouch Hiro my wrist. Ow ow ow let go" Haru tenderly grabbed her forearm. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry" Hiro quickly released Haru's wrist. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" Hiro asked "No I'm fine thanks to you" Haru smiled while wincing in pain.
Hiro looked at Haru's wrist. "That douche he did hurt you. I'm taking you to the hospital to get it checked out." "Hiro you don't have to I'm fine." She lied.
"Haru your hand is swollen and bruised can you even move it?" Haru tried to make a fist but flinched and couldn't move any of her fingers without yelping in pain.
"That's it we're going to the hospital!" As the elevator doors opened he wrapped an arm around Haru's shoulder and grabbed her suitcase with the other and escorted her out of the building.
They walked to his car, Hiro carefully opened the backseat passenger door for Haru and helped her in.
"JEEZE what took you guys so long?" Riku snorted. "We're heading to the hospital!" Hiro snapped. "Wait what? What happened?" She looked in the backseat at Haru holding her swollen wrist.
"I'll fill you in on the way there." Hiro started the engine and merged into traffic.
From the apartment window, Kiba watched as their car pulled out and into traffic. 'So that's the direction she lives. If she won't admit it I'll look for her and make her come back.'
