Chapter 14 - Am I in a KDrama?

Hiro, Riku, and Haru Finally reached their condo and parted ways.

The next morning there was a rhythmic knocking on Riku's room door. The door opened and a stylish Riku was standing in the doorway. She wore a dark magenta and black plaid button-up shirt with the top 4 buttons undone and the bottom ends tied together to make a bow by her hip over a plain black tank and black leggings. Her hair was pulled up into a messy bun at the top of her head with 2 curly strands framing her face. Even though she looked very stylish and professional there was still a little hint of annoyance in her expression.

Riku was very tough. She was more on the husky side she wasn't thin like all those actresses and singers that she had to work with, she had more to love, she also had long black curly hair that reached right above her waist. She had natural ringlets other women could only dream to have. She never cared about her weight issue even though people she worked with tried to shame her for it they instantly regretted trying to embarrass her. To Riku, she could actually care less about what other people thought about her. She was the best at what she did so other actors and artists tried their best to stay in her good graces. Those who found out too late who Riku has regretted it because they instantly were reassigned to mediocre leveled stylists. It was Riku's awesomely cool and nonchalant character that attracted many men to her.

"What?" Riku greeted coldly.

"You ladies ready for work?" Hiro grinned.

"Wait, How did you get into my house?"

"You gave me a Key," Hiro stated as he jingled it in front of Riku. Riku snatched the keys away from him "I said it was for emergencies only not for personal use." She snapped.

"Heeeyyyy you gonna give it back to me?" He pouted

"No Haru needs a house key so I'm gonna give these to her. Saves me money from having to make another key."

Hiro looked like a sad puppy. Unfortunately, the puppy dog face never worked on Riku.

"Hey, can I ask you a question, Hiro?" Riku asked with a face so seriously cold it made him sweat.

"Sure what is it? He looked back at her cautiously.

"What's your attachment to this girl? Do you know her personally and you're just not telling me anything?"

"No, I really found her crying on the street crying and that is the first time I ever met her."

"Then why are you investing so much time on her?"

"W-well..." Hiro began to get flustered

"Good morning." Haru yawned and slowly walked into the kitchen. She was wearing a plain loose-fitted black T-shirt knotted at the bottom above her right hip along with jeggings and black and pink sneakers.

Riku walked up to Haru and dangled the keys in front of her. "Here, house keys for you."

"Thank you." Haru carefully grabbed the keys and Riku walked away.

"Morning Haru did you sleep well?" Hiro asked with pure concern.

"Surprisingly yes I did." Haru chuckled

"Okay everyone is here let's go!" Hiro smiled and helped Haru by grabbing her purse and carrying it for her. "Th-thank you Hiro but you really do-" before she could finish her sentence he quickly cut in "nope gotta make sure that you don't move that entire arm as much as possible." And he quickly walked ahead so that she wouldn't be able to catch up and grab the bag from him. "But it's just the wrist...." she muttered as she slowly walked behind him.

Hiro disregarded what he heard and opened the door for her and helped her get into the car. He then closed it slowly and proceeded to go to his side when he heard Riku snort "You not gonna open my door for me?" She smirked at him.

"Your arms are fine Riku you can get the door yourself." He grinned, quickly got into the car, and drove off.

They pulled into the O.K. Entertainment parking lot and all got out together. Hiro again grabbed Haru's purse before she could do it herself then proceeded to help her out of the car carefully.

As they walked into the front door a young man wearing a plaid button-up shirt, jeans, white sneakers, and lanyard with his i.d. Ran up to Riku. This young man was quite a looker with short silky black hair and a baby face with a touch of manliness scruff on his chin. "Good morning boss." The young man greeted. I set up your station for you and cleaned all of your brushes." He quickly ran through the things he prepped for her. "I was wondering if you wanted t-" before he could finish his sentence Riku cut him off. "No."

The shock was very evident in Haru's face but Riku's face remained calm as she walked past the poor boy.

Feeling the atmosphere getting a little tense Hiro gently put the purse on Haru's shoulder and quickly excused himself. "Well, this is my way... bye." He bowed his head down and speed-walked all the way to his station.

Haru looked at the boy sulking behind them and back at Riku. Before she could take another step forward another assistant ran up to Riku holding a cup. "Morning boss I got you hot chocolate just the way you like it." He handed the cup to Riku and cleared his throat." I'm having a gather-" before the man could finish his sentence the word NO was bluntly thrown at the man.

Haru looked at the man and then back at Riku "Wow you don't give them a chance huh?"

"I value my alone time. I don't care to hang out with anyone. Besides why leave them hanging when you can just be straightforward?" She responded nonchalantly. Riku was just too cool to Haru.

The two women reached their station and the artists began coming in one by one.

"Hey, Haru can you grab some makeup wipes from the supply closet down the hall? I made it easy for everyone to find it's not too far from here." Riku shouted from across the noisy room.

"Okay, Boss!" Haru replied.

Haru walked down the hall when a door with a big sign 'MAKE UP EQUIPMENT' caught her attention. 'I guess this must be the closet she was talking about' she thought to herself. She carefully opened the door and began grabbing the things that Riku needed. With only one arm handy it made this task pretty difficult and she began to lose her balance in the blink of an eye she felt herself falling to her fate when two arms caught her. The supplies she went to grab fell to the floor all around her. Her eyes wide with fear when she looked up at the man who had just caught her.
