Anna didn't expect this kind of response from her brother. He is even calm, and that is something Anna thought was quite bothersome.
Sipping from the milkshake, Elijah looked at his sister.
"You're no longer a kid, eh? This is great. You've officially become a grown-up. I didn't think that this day would come, but look at you. Though, are you sure about doing this?"
Anna nodded.
"I'm sure. But, please, don't tell grandma about the deal. Let me be the one to break the news to her."
Elijah took another sip from his drink.
There must be something special about this Kristofer Almodiel guy. He had never seen his sister get flabbergasted like this before. Nor did he even expect anyone to be able to make his sister agree to a sham marriage.
Anna runs her mouth well when talks about love and marriage come up. She's a big believer in marriage for love and all that.
