Anna took a deep breath.
Almost just a few weeks ago, she was driving back to her home to visit her grandmother and her parents' graves. And now she was doing it again.
She somehow lost track of time.
Her heart hammered hard against her chest. Anna didn't even attempt to call her grandmother. She thought it would be better to use the element of surprise and use it to her advantage.
However, she was certain that her grandmother would probably give her an earful about what she'd done.
Without her parents around, it was her grandmother who taught Anna the beliefs about love, dating, marriage, and all those philosophies she used to stand so firmly about.
But life has a way of challenging one's beliefs.
Life could throw stones, pebbles, or rocks, and it will be up to the individual how to face it.
Should they avoid it, catch it, or face it head-on? Bruises and scars could result from being hit hard. But to give up was never an option.
