"Faith, come on wake up. We have to find out what the problem is," I said softly. She groaned and turned the other way. I smiled and went back to James.
"Is she up?" he asked, eagerly. I shook my head. He sighed. "Oh and also," he continued, "what happened before? Was she having a panic attack or something?"
"No, but I think she fainted or something," I replied. She was from the past. She should be around 65 years old! Wait, but that means she doesn't know what a phone, car, or even what electronics are, I thought. I gasped.
"What?" James asked. I stared at him with wide eyes.
"James. Do you remember when electronics were first invented? 1897, right?" He nodded. "So, that means that in 1964, electronics weren't fully developed, am I right?" He nodded, but more enthusiastically.
"So we get to introduce her to phones, and cars, and things like that!" James finished. I laughed and nodded. " So, maybe we should call the rest of them so we can have an 'introduction' sort of thing, you know? I'll go call them!" James jumped onto the bed and grabbed his phone.
"Wait!" I shouted, but not loud enough to wake up Faith. "Won't she get like, I don't know, scared? Of all the unknown people?" I asked. James looked at me suspiciously.
"Aww, is Prince Charming concerned about Sleeping Beauty?" He teased. I glared at him. "Aw, come on, I was just kidding. And besides, have you seen her? She can kick butt in a second! Oh wait, but is Prince Charming jealous that his friends…" James wasn't able to finish because at that moment I tackled him onto the ground. He finally surrendered and we went to go check on Faith.
She had my phone. I ran to her and snatched it from her. She snatched it back with twice as much force, and with a glare. Her glasses were scary. I put my arms up in surrender.
"Fine, just don't break it," I said. The moment she turned on the phone, she dropped it and rubbed her eyes furiously. I chuckled.
"Why is it so bright?" she asked. I explained to her how it works, but by the end of my explanation, she didn't understand a thing. I sighed.
"We'll just keep this for another time. Now, wait here, I want to introduce you to my other friends." I said. I opened the door and let them come in.
