Noah
She was beautiful. Her hair was silky and soft, and her lips were pink with a hint of red and orange. She didn't want to impress the guys like the girls at my school. She beats them up! And her eyes. Oh god, her eyes. They were mesmerizing. They looked like a forest, that someone would be lost in forever. When she cried, my heart hurt. It felt as if I was crying too. What was happening to me?
I jolted back to reality. Her eyes looked like she would kill. I stepped back cautiously.
"Noah? I think we should run," James squeaked. I shook my head. I couldn't get the image of her laying on the ground out of my head. She looked as if she would never be happy again. I couldn't let her run off. Something could happen to her. I didn't know why I cared, but I did.
"You," She said, her voice shaking with anger, "You took my family away from me!" I stared at her in confusion.
"Wait, what? No, we didn't. We don't even know your family," James said. My eyes widened. Oh, no. She lunged at James, but I caught her. She tried to judo-flip me again, but I held both of her arms, tightly. She tried wiggling out of my grip but I was still holding her arms. She had pleading eyes.
"Let me go. Please," She croaked. I loosened my grip but still held onto her.
"I need you to breathe. We didn't take your family. I'm sure you'll find them. Do you know where they live?" I asked. Tears flooded her eyes. My heart squeezed.
"In heaven," she whispered. I gasped softly and hugged her. I didn't care that James was still backed up into a corner, terrified of her. She cried into my chest, but not pushing me away. I held onto her, not wanting to let go.
