"So you wanted to return back to earth so badly that you leave without removing the bad energy inside you, is that right?", Zari asked him after he had told her what transpired between him and the council members when Sasan took him to the council meeting. Selon also told her what happened during the discussions he had with the council members as well as the offer he accepted while they slowly follow behind Makom and the other members who were quite ahead of them as they tread on the wide hallway that led them into the central hall where four large doors stood.
"Yes, I wanted to leave but I quickly changed my mind because I was told of the lethal effects of the bad energy mixed together with the map's energy and its dire consequences if not quickly removed", Selon whispered quietly as they pass through the third door which led them to a distant passage which ran deeper into the building,
"Yes, I remember that Ranus had fused and sent us the clues we now possess into the body of an Oglox before he disappeared into the human realm", Zari replied and asked,"But how was it possible that you were able to withstand its harmful energy for a long time?",
"Well, according to Makom, my father had sealed the map's energy inside my body and instilled another neutral energy which helps to neutralize the harmful effects but it started to wear off as I grew older allowing the lethal energy to surface again which resulted to those disastrous traumatic episodes I went through", Selon murmured quietly in order not to attract any attention from the others who were fully up ahead of them.
"So now that you've accepted the offer to stay and help retrieve the lost sword of Zoa in return for the extraction of the parasitic energy that surges round your body. What are the best skills you have developed in order to achieve that aim?", Zari asked softly,
"I don't know yet, but all I know is that I have this queer ability since childhood that somehow involve creating blue light out of water which I haven't been able to control since I wanted to avoid anyone else from knowing about", Selon said as they walked passed two more large doors along the distant passage that seems endless.
"That ability you have isn't a strange but it's our tribe most respected and sacred power which are given to those who truly care for the needs of others and are of pure hear. What you see as mere creating blue light out of water is one of our ancient arts of deriving blue energy from water which symbolizes the flourishing beauty of nature where all things coexist in perfect harmony. The most strongest force in all the realms is nature whereby all the elements are in under its influence and its power is a deadly force to be reckoned with", Zari explained quietly as they came to a cross-section of passages running in different directions. Makom indicated the right passage which they all follow at once without any further delay as they drew closer to the western side of the capital building.
"You mean to say that those blue lights emitted inside the water are actually blue energies derived from it which can be used to formulate a greater amount of complex energies revolving under the basic control of this energy?", Selon asked quietly but was excited to hear that he could control his ability and be able to protect the city, "That's correct, but it only becomes complex and sophisticated when one starts to master advance moves combine with tough techniques that helps to strengthen and omot.m your defenses and offenses", Zari replied as they press forward to the western part of the building.
"That's good to hear but you aren't going to be available because of the assignment that was given to you by the council members which involves your trip to Tyron together with three others as well", Selon asked feeling quite unhappy about her sudden trip.
"Yes Selon, I won't be here to teach you all the basics you need to know but look on the bright side, there's gonna be a Training session meant for those who are embarking on the journey to recover the sword of Zoa before it gets into the hands of Vedon", Zari said as they got to their final destination where three members who weren't chosen entered into the room while the others stayed outside together with Zari.
,"Zari and those three I appointed to investigate and oversee matters concerning the crisis ongoing in Tyron which is instigated by Akanon, will now leave us to prepare ahead before sunrise tomorrow.While Selon will come with us inside so that we'll begin the extraction process immediately", Makom said to them while Zari and the others bade him farewell as they left the through the distant door in the hallway.
Selon went inside the room feeling quite anxious to know how much of this energy will be removed from his body. While he was pondering over this in his mind where he stood beside the door, the room was suddenly filled with a cloudy red aura initiated by Makom as well as three others who sat down on a four-sided soft mattress with enormous amount of red energy flowing rapidly around them.
"Selon, come over and stand in our midst so that this enormous red will extract it from your body", Makom said with his as his eyes and mouth displaying every ounce of red energy
Selon meekly obeyed robotically and stood facing them in their midst while dark substances of black energy mixed with whitish aura slowly leaves his body intertwining with the bright red aura as they faintly disappear slowly in the mid-air, into a small purple scroll that was completely blank, which Makom placed on the floor beside himself, leaving the blank scroll filled withthe location of the sword of Zoa. After the energies have left Selon, he fell down unconscious and was carried by the three members who took him to the soft bed while Makom sealed the small scroll with his red energy.
"Yes of course, there have been some reported sightings of Tarnites roaming around outside the city gates which have instilled fear and weaknesses in the part of our troops who dread the very sight of these beast", The commander answer Ravon who had spent four moons figuring out a way to stop the continuous movement of Tarnites all to no avail.
"And when was this reported?",", Ravon asked curiously as he searches through some old reports which he held in front of the commander who watched him rummage through some of the reports which seems like he's not going to stop,
"That'll be twenty moons ago before you came here", The commander replied smirking at him while Ravon added as he continued to looked down on the reports.
"That long? Why haven't you given this late but important report to the council?", Raven accusingly interrogated,
"I wasn't quite sure if I should send it to the council members who would think I was bluffing and I feared they will accuse me of making a false report", The commander replied sincerely.
"Have you any idea who is responsible for all of this unnatural migration of the Tarnites from the remote areas of the northern region to the southern region?",Ravon inquired further,
"I think I can actually pinpoint someone capable enough to do such thing. An ignorant menace named Akanon who was banished by the council to live in the remote and desolate areas of Tarnash", The commander answered with a bright smile across his face.
"How do you know if he's the culprit behind this whole scheme? Have you been sending informants to gather information for you or is it just a wild speculation?", Ravon questioned again,
"You guessed rightly, I do have scouts gathering information from various corners of the city, about the recent crisis as well as the instigators of this crisis which includes Akanon and his henchman called Bamus whose whereabouts are unknown. Ever since we spotted a single Tarnite roaming around this area, I had secretly sent out trusted spies to be my eyes and ears over all the city, listening as well as watching for anything strange happenings that might occur in relation to the strange appearance of the Tarnite which they did, when the map got stolen from the granary you were assigned as a sentry guard to protect which parallel attack led to the multiple looting and burning of two granaries in the city", The commander explained to him.
"Since you knew about all this,why didn't you do anything, huh? Why didn't you lift up a finger while our storage facilities are charred to the ground?", Ravon almost exploded anger after hearing what he said,
"I can't leave this fort without an authorized order from the council and the council members are too busy to worry about me here beside, I needed to protect the city from another major threat which is the Tarnites outside the southern gates. And I thought you came with that written order but you came here empty-handed", The commander feigned at him leaving Ravon dumb founded for he knew that he had committed a grave mistake by allowing the map to be stolen.
