"So you were able to defeat him using an advance combat spell while Zari fought off those Tarnites, is that right?", Makom asked incredulously after listening to her incredible story of what transpired in the Tyron council's chambers. He was incredulous about the whole story finding hard to believe that Akanon who was once a level-eight cultivation master, would be easily defeated by a rookie who just attained the fourth-level of cultivation and had managed to perform a spell that requires an advanced technique to pull combined with massive inner energy to be able to conjure three powerful deadly surge which he fervently doubt that Jane posssess such immense energy. Jane hadn't thought much about the incident since all she did was to follow each step she learnt in the library of spells, each methods of evoking the spell which struck Akanon like she had practiced in the garden even though Samon had given her half of his energy in order to replenish her lost energy after she had performed it clearly in front of him. Although she was thrilled to have achieved an incredible feat, she wasn't quite sure if Makom believe her or not but she adhered to her tale of the event.
"Yes that's truly what happened few hours ago at council's chambers", Jane boldly replied undaunted by his skeptical questions and added, "And as for the instigator, he is now in their custody right now as we speak where he will be locked up together with his henchmen in the deepest dark dungeons until the council decides what punishment he will face this time around". Makom still remain skeptical about her story because he never imagined that Akanon could be completely out-foxed by a novice but he finally conceded after outlining two reasons that can possibly backup her story of events which were firstly, Zari's bruises and wounds which she could only have sustained from a serious fight with a ferocious beast leaving her body with claw marks which indicates a tough duel between her and the beast.
Secondly, Zari had mentioned that series of unfortunate events took place which unfolded after she arrived at the council headquarters before she collapsed into the arms of Jane preventing her from informing them what had happened and Jane was the only reliable witness here present who knew the remaining turnout of events.
"I laudly commend the noble role you played in detaining that menance who threaten the internal safety of all Tyronians. The whole realm will hear of your noble feat that was achieved by your bravery and courageous ness that will inspire coupled with enabling young warriors to emulate in order to set an example for other warriors as well. The council will duely reward you for it which you will receive before you embark on this hazardous quest ", Makom said and brought out Eamus' scroll which he held with his right hand, "Apart from that, Eamus mentioned here in his correspondence that you are the daughter of their late chief who was sent to the human realm in order to protect you from the reach of evil forces since you are destined to be among the foretold red wolf warriors that will arise from each sect to properly safeguard the realm from all evil. And he added further that the council had selected a name from your clan that was given to you after your great-grand mother and had granted the council here to officially change your name which came from the human realm to Sermia, which originated from the Haiz clan",
"I'll obey the official command of the council to change my name to Sermia which henceforth I will bear in this realm", Jane said without remorse of having changing a name which her earthly mother had given to her since her childhood.
"Hmm, that's good to hear. So you can leave now but before you go, there's no better room for you to dwell right now than Zari's lodgings where you will stay for the time being until the day for departure arrives", Makom said after closing the scroll.
"I'll stay there but how do I find the room?", Sermia inquired.
"Follow this pacox flower. It will guide you to her room and help you not to get lost while trying to locate the exact room", Makom replied after evoking a ruddy pacox flower which slowly floated in mid-air heading towards the large door. Sermia was mesmerized for a while but quickly snapped out of it when she realizes that it was approaching the large door and she ran after it in haste which led her out through the corridors to Zari's lodgings.
A shrill sound echoed through the corridor's just before dawn which was caused by series of pacox flowers that floated in mid-air illuminating the hallways as it passes by two right corners of the hallway where those from the two clans resided, with great speed while entering inside the rooms of each trainees including Selon as it splits several petals that dashes over to their bed in mid-air and forcefully encircle each of them elevating them from the ground while they lay fast asleep. It took them outside to the courtyard where dropped them on the cold floor which it continued until they were all out. The petals slowly returned to the flowers which it disappeared into the thin air while a sudden large bell close to the yard, resounded greatly on the wide roomy courtyard which it awoke all the trainees including Sermia who didn't slept enough after her auidence with Makom.
"Come on! Get your sleeping body up from the floor this instant!", Helek barked as he found two other trainees still fast asleep which amazed the others since the bell resounded very loudly across the yard. They quickly obeyed and stood up with their white robes quickly observing their surroundings while they yawn with ease. The petals had also placed their training outfit on the ground where they stood before Helek which he told them to quickly put on.
"We will now begin the first phase of this training session which will focus on how to maintain a massive internal flow of energy which will depict how well you can control your inner chi which could heal any outside wound if properly cultivated", Helek said as he walked through their midst to the front where he demonstrated by folding his legs together while meditating deeply creating a green aura round his body, "Arrange yourself properly facing each other in opposite directions and start balancing your internal energy flow". They quickly obeyed as they formed two lines of five which they faced at opposite directions. Selon, who wasn't prepared for it, quickly obeyed and sat down on the floor with his leg folded together while he tried to harmonize the little energy in did thisinto a big one that will generate a massive aura around his body indicating it the attainment of a fully internal energy. He placed his arms quietly perceiving a small amount inside him which he tried to maintain the flow but struggled strongly while his colleague from Avilon, named Asmof was intensifying his internal energy of bright yellow aura.
The five trainees on the first line by the right side of Helek were performing well as three out of five had succeeded in creating beautiful auras which included Sermia from Tyron, Agius from the Sargus sect and Micamus from Dracux sect while the other two, Cascon from Minimus sect and Harcus from the dry plains of Limcrot sects were finding it difficult to control their inner chi. The other line by the left which was headed by Selon were performing poorly with two out of five which includes Damus from the Agekians sect and Piopar from the Juntaro sect that were able to generate significant amount of auras leaving behind three trainees which includes Selon from Wintera sect, Salmas from Astrion sect and Ginarus from the Hullikan sects who were also struggled to maintain balances of their inner strength.
They all sat down there while the sunlight rose up towards their direction coming down upon them as they still maintain the same posture until Helek spoke out, "Stop! That will be enough for now!", he said aloud for he was waiting for the sunlight to be present before he begins with phase 2 which will end the first training session. All of them at once stopped immediately after they heard Helek's voice that seems to echo round the courtyard. Helek stood up and gazed at the sunlight which looked pale with its radiant , and then walked to their midst.
"Okay, well done for those who were able to perform well during the phase 1, I hope everyone should be able to control their inner chi but I say to you that you should keep on doing this on daily basis in order to boost and develop a high level of cultivation especially if you want to heal your wounds with or without herbal remedies. Now phase 2 is easy and I expect those who didn't do well previously will do so in this phase which entails a single demonstration of evoking anything using what you just learnt. So begin!", Helek said as he motion for all of them to gather together while he picked out Agius to be the first to perform. Agius stepped out instantly to the front while the others stared him in front of them after shutting his eyes as he focused on his inner energy flow for some time and with lightening speed, conjured forth two powerful shots on the empty air which greatly impressed the others. Then he went back to the crowd feeling quite proud of his ability and then, Helek chose Selon to be the next to demonstrate what he's capable of in front of all the other trainees. Selon came out feeling a bit nervous because he hadn't been taught the proper basics but he courageously walked out of the crowd. Then after gathering a sufficient amount of liquid energy inside him which surprisingly created an unusual aura of blue light sparkling with water all round him, he quickly recalled how part of his life was messed up by the bad energies inside his head, filling himself with rage, he evoked three powerful shots of blue energy that was laced with water which struck and broke some few statues nearby which also impressed the others. The others performed each individual strikes which greatly impressed Helek. Then he told them to gather around him and after giving out some few words of encouragements, he left them while they wait for the next master who happens to be Argien.
He came immediately with a large chest and said, "for the second session, you all will be given an herb which you will take care of personally but before that, I will demonstrate the full use of the herb in front of you". Then he took out a herbal plant called Lotti which had grey petals and placed it in front of them while he motion for them to step back in order for them to give him enough room. With speed and accuracy, Argien transported his white energy into the herb using his hands elevating upwards while the herb quickly opened brightly and emitted a sweet fragrance combine with a blue aura which entered into his body, refreshing his body and healed a would which Argien had purposely instilled on his body. They were amazed by the beauty of the plant as well as it healing properties which they like to see again but Argien told them to select any herb of their choice that will be theirs to work with personally. And with that, he left them in for them to await the third master who will be in charge of the final training. After discussing amongst themselves who will be in charge of the final training, Syclar walked over to them and told them to arranged themselves in perfect order. Then he said,
"This sadly is going to be the last session of the training because of urgent news concerning the state of our troops in Ataxia which you will be informed soon after this training session ends. This session entails a duel where there must be a physical combat between yourselves so, pick out a partner that you want to fight with", Syclar said while watching them choose their fighting partners.
