Merlin stood there with a genuine expression, smiled then extended her arms out.
"You don't have to trust or like me. I will do what I can to help Akito." She spewed while she looked over Akito. "I think we should start your long journey ahead. What do you say?" She asked him with a genuine smile.
Akito stood there expressionless and replied unknowingly. "We have to." His expression immediately changed, determined, and focused on what the journey ahead contained. He held out his hand and reached for Merlins. Grabbing hold of her, he painstakingly dragged her along up the stairs. "Come, Long Face, I want to tell you both this." He said while looking back at him as he stepped up the stairs.
"Why not just tell us here?" Shouted Satoshi but started moving towards his brother's room after he didn't receive a response. "What a pain!" He exclaimed to himself in exhaustion. "Hm, this Merlin, I swear I will keep a keen eye on her." He told himself as the room's door came into sight. He clenched his fist and walked in.
Closing the door behind himself, Satoshi looked over to the seated Akito. "What is it?" Satoshi asked him as he walked over to his bed and took a seat. Hands in his pockets, he maintained a steady look over to Merlin.
Standing by the closet, the two brothers faced Merlin's back. Noticing Satoshi's glare, she looked back at the two. "So, what is it, Akito?" She asked him with an aggressive smile.
Akito's expression changed as he slipped down from his bed and sat on the floor. Looking over to them, he instructed both to the same. "Sit on the floor." He said as the pressure increased.
"Okay." Replied the two as they sat next to him, almost forming a triangle. Akito reached his arms out. "Give me your hands." He said to the two as he closed his eyes. Then, deep into mediation, he spoke softly, informing the two of what he was doing. "I'm focusing on slipping into my subconscious realm. If we keep contact, I can temporarily transfer your conscious into mine."
"Brilliant." Said Merlin out loud, taking back from the progress Akito has made. "How did you know this?" She asked him to distribute his deep mediation.
"Shh," He shouted aggressively, but Merlin enticed him to explain to her as he thought of it as a way to show off. "I don't know." He said as he raised his shoulders. "I remember it clearly. I think I have read this somewhere." He said as he calmed his shoulders. "When I enter the realm of subconsciousness willingly, all connected to me through the touch will slip in too." He explained as he opened his eyes and stared into the two. "Why aren't your eyes shut?" He shouted at the two. "Didn't I tell you guys to close your eyes?" He began arguing.
"No." Responded Satoshi and Merlin simultaneously with an annoyed expression.
"Oh well, whatever." He said as he let his head loose. "Just close your eyes." He said as he gave in.
As the three intensely focused and mediated in quiet, a spur of dark energy surrounded them. The world became dimmed in darkness. As the three opened their eyes slowly, they were soon in the subconscious world of Akito. "Welcome to my mind." He said as he stood up and looked over both sides.
"What is this place?" Asked Satoshi as he placed his hands on both of his elbows. "It's so cold in here." He said as his mind began racing. "So empty." He unknowingly whispered.
"This is where the soul resides." Said Merlin as she stood up.
"The soul?" Asked the two as they looked over to her with a dumbfounded expression for their different reasons.
Before he could utter a word, Satoshi took over and asked Merlin. "Why does it feel empty then?" He said as he stood up and looked over at her.
"That's because it is." She said as he crossed her arms and looked down.
But before she could speak again, a roar came shaking the mindscape. "Don't you dare disturb my soul, humans." The mighty said in anger. "Who do you think you are to look into my realm?" He asked as he opened his mighty blue eyes.
They were taken back by the massive pressure from the voice hidden in the darkness. Merlin's eyes widened, and Satoshi tried to keep his balance as the world sunk into despair. "This pressure." She said as he tried to keep her balance.
The two struggled, but Akito seemed to be doing fine as he stood still. "Akito, how are you standing still?" Satoshi asked his brother with jealousy, but Akito said nothing as he kept his head towards the eyes.
"Keep your eyes on the enemy." He told himself as he shouted it over to Satoshi. "This guy, he's what I wanted to show you two." He said as he glanced over to them. "He claims that I'm his vessel, a tool for his return." He said.
"Gravity Magic, Zero Gravity Bubble." He enchanted as he went over to Merlin and grabbed hold of her by the waist. "Sorry." He apologized while flustered. "Then, going over to Satoshi, he grabbed him by the collar and flew up over the blue eyes.
"Who is he?" Satoshi shouted at Akito. "I don't know who he is. Perhaps he is an extension of myself, my soul, or even the God he claims to be." He explained but continued, "He has stated that he is The Blue Flame Master, the name that the devils are pursuing.
The two were startled and muted as hesitation took over them to say anything else.
"My celestial vessel, I see that you have come." So spoke the Blue Flame Master as his eyes ascended into the darkness.
"Blue Flame Master, what is your goal?" Asked Akito as he stared into the eyes while sweating.
"Address me as God, boy." He informed Akito with an angered tone. "That name no longer belongs to me." He said as smoke rose from the darkness.
"Ugh, this pressure." Said Akito as he thought of explaining everything in this realm to the noiseless two.
