"I don't want to drag this conversation to reality." He said as he flew away from the incoming talon. "He's making a move?" Akito asked himself as he watched God's eyes grow in anger.
"How dare you look into my soul?" Amazingly, God swung again with force but could not land a hit on Akito.
"Your body, give it to me, Akito." He demanded as he drew back his claw. Huffing, a massive cloud of smoke covered the area, blinding Akito. He decided to fly away from the direction of God but only found himself stuck in the mist. "Shit, nowhere to go?" He said as he landed on the ground.
"Any suggestions on who he is, sensei?" He asked Merlin for advice, but she seemed stuck in her assessment. "Merlin?" He shouted at her again as he kept his guard up. "Give me a minute." She told him as she stood there.
"What do you know about me?" Akito demanded from her as he walked over to his brother and nodded. "Satoshi, stay with me." He told him, but Satoshi seemed downed and sad for some reason. Then, catching onto his brother's unusual actions, he asked him. "What's wrong?"
"Watch yourself. Nothing's wrong with me, stick." He said in disappointment.
"Stick, so we've moved on from the pig?" He asked his brother as he chuckled. "You know that I can sense negative emotions, right?" He told his brother hastily.
"How can you be so positive in this situation?" He asked his brother as he mentioned what he told him. "Sense emotions?" He asked Akito slowly.
"Hmm, right. I haven't told you guys yet." He said with an idiotic expression. "I guess that's another secret I have to disclose later to you guys." He said with a smile. "But more importantly, you're enough. You are strong, Satoshi." He encouraged his brother with a smile that stretched from ear to ear while blushing.
Satoshi was puzzled by his brother's unusual positivity while in a fight. He was smiling and happy. Satoshi wondered what changed him so quickly. "What's up with him anyway? I can never understand what goes on in his mind." He told himself. "Even while I'm literally in it!" He shouted to himself as he grabbed Akito and drew him closer to himself. "Oops, watch it, dude." He told his brother as they both barely escaped the strike from God.
Merlin moved away, and suddenly to the shock of the two, she started levitating in the air.
"Gravity magic?" Akito shouted out loud. "No, that not it." He said with a proud smile.
"I know you know something, so spill it, Merlin," He said as his proud expression soon changed.
Looking down, Merlin had no choice but to decent. "Good grieve. Get us out of here, Akito." She said as he looked over to him. "I know that you want to spill your guts here, but it's not worth harming our souls in the process." She instructed him as she caught on to his scheme.
"You knew?" He asked her with disbelief.
"I know everything." She responded to his little comment with a feisty smile.
"I knew it." He replied to her comment as he dodged another attack from God. "And you too, Master of The Blue Flame. So why aren't you frankly coming for me with all you have?"
Akito's question was left unanswered as God was exhausted. "This is the extent of my unlimited power now? Damn this brother of yours." He asked himself as he panted in agony. "This child, he's catching on. I must lead him astray." He said as he looked over to Akito. "But I need to rest for now." So he told himself as the smoke began to vanish into thin air.
"Akito, you'll soon understand." He informed Akito with his last words. His eyelids became heavy, and his eyes soon began shutting and slowly decanting into the darkness. He watched as Akito left the subconscious realm. "You will come to see the unfairness of this world with your own eyes." The mighty voice spoke into the empty distance as he fell asleep. "When I regain my true power, I will devour the world." He said to himself with hatred.
"Akito-" Shouted someone while violently moving his body back and forth. "Wake up!" Shouted Satoshi into his ear.
All while, Merlin stood there thinking to herself. "Okay, he's weak enough for us to initiate our revenge against Haruto."
"Shut up, long face," Akito told him with an annoyed look.
"Uhh, finally, you came too." Said Satoshi as he dropped down to the ground.
"How long have I been out for?" He asked Satoshi as he looked over to Merlin.
"It's been fifteen minutes since we woke up." He told him but saw that Akito's diverted his attention towards Merlin.
"So, explain everything to me, sensei?" He said as he sat up and crossed his legs.
"I am pleased to be called sensei by you, Akito, but I can only reveal so much now." She said as she walked over to his bed. Then, sitting down and tucking her dress under herself, she looked over to him with her beautiful eyes.
"Why can't you tell me?" He asked her as he crossed his arms with a dense expression.
"Well, my mother wants it that way. We can only intervene so much." She notified him.
"Mother?" He asked her while Merlin grabbed both Akito and Satoshi's attention.
"Yes, my mother, the Princess of The Lake." She declared while smiling.
"No way!" The two expressed enjoyment.
"Yes, way, but moreover to the real problem right now." She said as her expression changed. "This monster we just fought. He isn't any ordinary being." She said with a severe look. "He's telling the truth. He's worthy of being a God. But, in his regards, that title belongs to him already." She explained to the two.
"He isn't an extension of you, but rather he is a sealed within you." She told him. "Sealed within your subconscious world, he manifests himself within you." She explained while she crossed her legs.
Standing up, the two finally had light shed on their situation.
"This God, he is using you as a resurrection tool. Eating away at your soul, will, feelings, and power. He is growing stronger than ever, but due to the interference of someone, you both are but only a fragile shell of who you truly are." She explained more in-depth. "Since he's weakened, you'll have time to deal with him. But, for now, we need to focus on our real enemy." She blurted out as she stood up and walked over to his window. "The Devil's are the main problem for now." She said out loud with a calm look.
While a little confused, Akito's emotions intensified, and with anger, he expressed them. "God or not, brother or not. I don't care. I will not give up," Akito said as he clenched his fist. His aura spilling out of him, Merlin captured his attention. "Calm down." She told him as she crouched in the window. "I will be here when the suns up. We will start our long around the world training session tomorrow." She exclaimed with a smile. "Okay, that's enough of disclosing secrets for today." She said as she vanished into thin air
"Eh? Around the world?" The two said, facing the window with a blank expression.
