Chapter 6 - Chapter 5

Salvator POV:

Persephone ran out the door and soon after Hades followed. The way that he spoke to us hurt me a little bit. Then again he doesn't know the full story of how they were taken. I'll be sure to explain it to him at the hotel.

I looked down at my shoes and sighed. Dad pat my back as all boys walked outside. Sometimes I felt as if I were alone. Angelo and Dad are always working together as Rocco and Santino are close. Armando and Alfonso are always together as they are twins. I don't have anyone to talk with, I have no friends and simply just hack away on my computer all the time.

My wrist are still sore from where I last cut, but I quite enjoyed it. It caused me to be numb. I should stop trying to be close with Hades and Persephone now. I'd mess everything up and they'd hate me. I don't want them to hate me but I've failed. I could've fought of those Russians from killing Mom, but no. I'm such a failure, I can't do anything right.

I walked out the door and saw a silver Range Rover pull out as a Black SUV followed. Most likely Hades with Dad following. All of the boys and I got into our separate cars to the hotel.

PERSEPHONE POV:

We jumped in the car and drove to our house. I can't wait to go to Italy! I heard that it snows a lot there! And we get to go with the big scary nice guys I met today! I wonder if I'll be able to go to school. Hades doesn't want me to go to school.

We pulled into our house and I nearly jumped out when Hades said, "Stay with me Princess."

I nodded and Hades started to walk inside. I turned to the car that was behind us and one of the big guys stepped out, I think his name is Marcello. He was wearing a really fancy black suit with a black tie. He looked really fancy! He made contact with me and smiled. I returned it and ran towards him. "Hi Mister!"

"Hi Persephone."

"Do-"

"Persephone! Come inside we need to pack a few things!"

I nodded and waved goodbye to Marcello. I ran up the stairs and to my bedroom. I grab my favorite pink backpack and start to pack my favorite things. Firstly, I grab the bracelet that Hades got me, then I grab my laptop, iphone, chargers, extra cloths, my baby blanket, and my special box. I zip my backpack and finally grab a my favorite book off my shelf for entertainment. The Fault in Our Stars. (If you have not read this book, I beg of you to read it.)

I jump up and run downstairs. I assume Hades is still pack and walk towards the sitting area. I jump on the couch and see Marcello sitting on the other one. I make eye contact to see he's already looking at me. "Hey Princess. Got everything?"

I nodded and squealed. I then began my squabbling, "Tell me about Italy! Do I get to explore? Will I have a bedroom? Will I get to go to school? I really want to go to school, I've never been!"

Marcello looked at me with curious and worried eyes. "You've never been to school?"

Why was he looking at me like that? "Nope." I said popping my 'P'.

MARCELLO POV:

Why hasn't she been to school?

"Have you done any education?" I asked hoping that she has.

She may be innocent but that is no excuse not to give her a normal experience. "Yup! I'm homeschooled."

Who would be homeschooling her. By the looks of it, it's only her and Hades in this house. "Who's homeschooling you?"

"Pierre, Andre, Remmy, Meredith, and sometimes Esmerelda." She says with a smile.

She most likely does her work at the Ghosts mansion. She's been exposed to the worlds greatest assassins. Why doesn't she just go to school. It seems her only friends are adults and work as assassins. "Persephone?"

She hums and looks at me with her adorable doe eyes. "Have you ever been friends with someone your age?"

She nods her head and smiles, "Hades! We're best friends! And we're twins! So the same age too!"

I nodded with a sympathetic smile. This kid clearly hasn't been exposed to the reality of life. She's innocent, pure, kind, and a bit oblivious. Not that I don't like it, but I think that at her age she needs to see what goes on outside of these walls. And Italy is the perfect place to do it.

I heard footsteps approaching to see a slightly pissed of Hades in front of me. "You ready 'Seph?" he asked in an unusual soft voice.

"Yup!" She yelled and jumped to her feet.

"Persephone, do you think you could go wait in the car? I need to talk to Hades for a moment." I asked with a smile.

She looked at Hades to see him nod at her. "Leave your door open princess. It might be hot in there."

She nodded and walked through the front door. Hades face immediately hardened. "What?" he snapped annoyed.

"Don't talk to me like that boy. I am your father."

"You lost that when you left us as toddlers." he replied.

"I did no such thing. You were taken from us. We had no intentions of ever letting you go. I will explain on the plain. You know who I am, I do not tolerate disrespect." I explained.

He sighed. "I'm sorry. Okay?"

"It's a little bit challenging paying for two teens to eat and live." he explained, "I agreed to go to Italy for a little bit of help. I have no intentions of disrespect or ungratefulness."

"I understand Hades. And I'm glad your back Kid." I said with a smile. I paused and then decided to say, "We're going to put Persephone in school."

He sighed annoyed. "No."

"She needs a good education. She needs a life."

"She has a great education! And she is happy! I'm not taking her to school just for her mind and heart to be demolished."

"She's going to school and that's final. She needs to make friends her age. She needs to learn she can't be dependent on all of us all the time. Now let's go get in the car."

I could tell Hades was fuming. He was clearly overprotective of Persephone and watched her every movement. She needs to see what's beyond these walls and I plan giving her a hand to climb over them.
