Mao rode to Dragonrock and began preparing his army. The people were eager to join the ranks and fight to defeat Cromwell. Washington departed from the main company at Lion's Point to begin preparations at Eagle's Nest.
Titus was eager to see his wife and children again. I was thirty years ago that he left his home for that letter. The company had stopped in Symphonia and recruited every able-bodied man there. They stopped at Lion's point and got horses, and Rodnest provided much needed food. The last stop before battle preparations was Sillsing.
When they entered the city, news of Titus' arrival and new title had spread. His family came to embrace him as well as the City Court.
"I'm so glad you made it home," Titus' wife said as she hugged him.
"Your looking buff, dad."
"I've had a lot of training."
"These are my children."
Titus knelt down to admire his grandchildren. They were the same age as his children when he left all those years ago. His heart ached to stay and forget about his station, but he had sworn that he would avenge Plato.
"Well, Titus, you attract a larger audience than even I do," Bonaparte jealously said.
Washington then interjected: "Quit the small talk. We have to get every able-bodied man in this city to come fight for us. Titus, use those diplomacy skills and recruit these men."
"All men of Sillsing, we need you to help us in defeating the tyrant know as King Cromwell. His men are savages, easily swayed by his twisted rhetoric. But we are not fools. We are not swayed by some lunatic's rhetoric. We are strong, brave, and rich, and I'd like to keep it that way. I know most every man here. I've settle disputes between you and I came home to see the fruits of my labor. Cromwell took my best friend away from me. He took away one the wisest men I've ever known, that is, King Plato of Academy. We were ambushed on our way to meet his incoming army, but we won't be the one's in the dark this time. This time we will kill Cromwell, destroy his army, and avenge Plato the Wise."
The city roared with cheer as the men were rendered ready to fight. They would leave the city with ten thousand more men than they came in with, and they were well equipped as well.
When the company made it to Eagle's Nest, they began preparing for the assault on Draconia. They mounted their weapons, sharpened their swords, and swore vengeance on the scourge called Cromwell.
