In a forest, Isamu and Horus can be seen walking through the forest. "What even is mana?" Isamu asked. "Mana is the power that exists in us all. It's in nature, mana flows through each branch, connecting through us all. Everyone has mana, even you." Horus said. "I don't have mana, I couldn't save my family." Isamu said as Horus looked at him. "You just have to unlock it and I will teach you how to use it. It just takes time. Believe in your power, young boy." Horus said as they kept walking through the forest before they reached a huge mountain. A huge snowy mountain with peaks touching even the clouds but still bound to the earth as the dark clouds striking down lightning on the peak as the mountain stood above everything. "You're going to reach the top of Kami's mountain and dispel the lightning." Horus said, shocking Isamu but Isamu looked at the mountain in fear. "You want to avenge your family, don't you." Horus said. Isamu saw glimpses of his family's burnt corpses and Mazoku's sadistic face. "I'll do it." Isamu said as he ran up to the mountain as he looked up as he gritted his teeth as he started climbing. He climbed up the slopes as lightning struck the mountain, sending a huge avalanche towards Isamu. 'I'm not quitting not now or ever. Come on, come on.' Isamu thought as he climbed faster towards the avalanche just before the avalanche reached him. "I'll go beyond." Isamu shouted but the avalanche sent him flying to the ground below. 'I'm going to die.' Isamu thought before he reached the ground below, waiting for his demise just before he was stopped before he hit the ground. Isamu looked shocked. "I knew you couldn't handle doing it. It was to test your current abilities and your will." Horus said. "So, what do you think." Isamu said as Horus laughed before smirking. "For a non-mana user, you're pretty strong but it's pointless to put you in a battle, you'll be killed. That's why for the next five years, I'll train you in the art of mage combat." Horus said. "But aren't those elemental demons going to come back." Isamu said. "I created a barrier, so you can train, don't worry." Horus said as Isamu sighed in relief. "Now, to use mana, Clap your hands and focus from your heart. Think in your head, why you want power." Horus said as he showed Isamu the pose. "Okay." Isamu said as he got in the position as he looked within himself. 'Why do I want power.' Isamu thought as he remembered the deaths of everyone as the deaths of everyone caused his anger to swell inside. 'To make them pay.' Isamu thought as the mana flowed slightly within him as Horus looked in awe before he looked in seriousness. The mana turned into a short burst of crimson lightning before completely vanishing. Isamu falls down on the ground, breathing heavily. "How was that." Isamu said as Horus stood serious. "It's impressive that someone from the lower-region could even use an element and lightning of all elements." Horus said, shocking Isamu. "Elements?" Isamu said. "Oi, I forgot. You don't know about anything. See, what makes a mage is their ability to use the elements. When your spiritual and physical stamina combine with mana it allows you to use mana, which gives access to a person's element, the source of a mage's power." Horus said, shocking Isamu before Isamu smirked. "Okay, let the training begin." Isamu said as they walked away as Horus walked, Isamu looked back at the direction of his village. He raised his fist to his village. 'I'm going to do it, everyone. I'm going to avenge you all. I'm going to make them pay. All of them.' Isamu thought as anger flooded him as he took off his bandage, showing his burnt face before walking to Horus for his training.
In the huge castle, Mazoku walks as he bows down to the majesty, now donning a new white robe. "Your majesty, we've completed the mission. No survivors. Only one death, which was due to carelessness." Mazoku said. "Those who died to a bunch of impotent garbage shouldn't call themselves a mage. Get a replacement, leave my sight." The king said as Mazoku walked away as he walked down the stairs. "You did good, Mazoku-san." A figure, wearing a golden cape stood on the second from the top of the stairs. "Thank you, your highness." Mazoku said to the figure. "My father doesn't wish to see your usefulness in this kingdom but I do. Remember you're the silent hero of this kingdom." The figure said as he walked away as Mazoku looked with a smirk on his face. 'One day this world will know me as the hero of the kingdom.' Mazoku thought.
A few weeks later,
In the forest, Horus walked as he passed the lush greenery as he reached a waterfall, where Isamu meditated under it. 'Fighting all the demons that enveloping his mind will bring out his true power and strengthen his will but can he do it? He has to do it in order to avenge his village.' Horus thought as he looked at Isamu. Isamu looked deep within himself as he saw the shadow of his village. 'You couldn't save us. You're weak.' The shadows said as they enveloped Isamu's body as he submerged down a huge body of water as he saw everyone as he went lower before seeing his parents before he burnt in the face as he hit the seabed. 'Sorry, I couldn't save you. I was weak but if you let me go. I'll end them all, I swear. I'll kill each and every one of them. Let me go.' Isamu said as he was thrusted back to the surface by them all as he stopped meditating as he stood up as he jumped to the surface. "I'm ready." Isamu said to Horus, who sighed in relief. 'Let's tap into the mana dormant within you." Horus said as Isamu clapped his hands together as mana overflowed inside his body as Horus looked in awe as the mana turned into a huge wave of crimson lightning as Isamu's eyes turned from his normal black before turning into a crimson with black outlines as his black hair turned into a crimson tinted hair. Isamu then fell down as he was overcome with fatigue as sweat dripped down on his face. "You did it. You have done it. You've awakened. You're a mage." Horus said as he realized Isamu had already fainted due to exhaustion. 'Heh, what a kid.' Horus thought as he picked Isamu to his hut.
Five years later, Isamu now had longer, spiky and jagged hair, defined muscle, sharper and more intense crimson eyes and was much taller. He wore a black and crimson open jacket with a high collar. He wore black pants with crimson lining, held up by a crimson obi. He wore black and crimson boots. Isamu stood in front of Kami's mountain. He closed his eyes as he remembered his village before seeing their deaths as opening them as his eyes had a flicker of crimson lightning as he ran up the mountain as he dodged all the spikes as he looked at the huge avalanche with a determined gaze. "Inazuma Drive." Isamu said as he blasted through it as he jumped to the clouds as he punched the storm, roaring with his fist forward. He landed lightly on top of the mountain peak with his fist raised to the sunlit sky before jumping down to the ground as he turned back with a smile on his face before leaving as he looked forward with anger burning in his eyes. Horus walked to him with a smile, holding his staff. "What are you going to do?" Horus said as Isamu smirked before being filled with rage. "Five years ago, I promised them I'll kill them all. That's what I'm going to do." Isamu said with anger as he walked away with Horus behind him. "Wait before we go. I thought you may need this. This was my master's sword. It's called the Sword Of Hope." Horus said as he gave Isamu, a jet-black broadsword with a wings hilt. Isamu touched it as the sword ignited with a crimson aura and crimson writings on the sword. "A true mage is the only one, who can bring out it's true power." Horus said as Isamu put it on his sash. "Thank you, master. I thought all mages were bad but I'm lucky to have met you." Isamu said as he smiled as Horus smiled. "Let's go." Isamu said as they walked away. 'This is just the beginning of your destiny.' Horus thought as he watched Isamu.
