ORION
She glares at me, pushing my hands away.
"How dare you touch me?!" she yells and I groan.
I do not know why I held her by the waist. I must have gotten tired of her unnecessary argument and needed to shut her up, but seeing how difficult it is to shut up, holding her was the only option. I brush my hair, sighing.
"Will you listen to me now?"
She furrows her brows. "Me?"
I groan slightly. Is there anyone else here that I might be talking to? "Of course, you"
She scoffs. "Why should I listen to you?"
"Because this is for your good and not mine or do you want to remain locked up in your room?"
She stares at me suspiciously. "What is your plan?"
I smirk. "If you want to know the plan I have...". She stares at me. "Then you will promise to help me out"
She stares at me and I sigh. I have thought about it. If I want to live a peaceful life until I get my place, I might need to keep my enemy, Elora closer to my side, and the only way to do that is to agree with her.
She folds her hand. "How can I help you?"
"Good" I mutter. "You help me with my study and in turn, I will let you do whatever you want around the house"
"I won't be able to leave the house?"
I nodded. "You won't want your mom to see you and send you back to the cell"
She scoffs. "Why do you need to study?"
"I think I was preparing for an exam before I got amnesia" I lie.
She laughs. "Exam? How old are you, to be preparing for an exam"
I groan. I am over a hundred and fifty years old. Who does she think she is? "How old are you?" I ask instead and she stares at me.
"How can you ask me about my age?"
"You ask for mine first"
She scoffs. "That wasn't a question. It is sarcasm. You don't know?"
I shrug. "I don't know but I still want to know your age"
"A hundred and fifty" she mutters in sarcasm, walking away.
"Do you agree with what I said?" I yell after her.
"No!"
"Why?"
She turns and smirks. "Because you are not desperate enough yet" she answers and turns to leave.
I groan. "What a rude girl" I muttered.
She waves her hand. "Whatever"
I return to my room frowning. That girl is very rude.
"Isn't she the kind of girl you love?" Melvin asked.
"She can never be the kind of girl I love"
"But I thought you love sassy girls?"
"Not like her, please"
He chuckles. "That's strange"
I rolled my eyes. "Why are you here?"
He frowns. "I can't visit my friend when I want to?"
I scoff. "I don't think I want to see you now"
He chuckles. "So, how are you coping with the human world?"
I sigh. "It's more difficult than I had thought"
"Do you now know why I never wanted you to come here, in the first place"
I groan. "I am here already. There is no point nagging me"
"Then what am I supposed to do? Pat your head for coming here and facing hell"
I sigh. "I am not facing any hell"
"You are not? You are facing...". There was a sudden knock on the door and Melvin stared at me. "That is not Ari, right"
I nod in agreement. There is only one person who can act this way and that is Elora. "Of course, not" I replied standing up.
She keeps hitting the door and I frown. "Ori? Orion?" she calls. "Who are you talking to?"
I gesture to Melvin to leave before opening the door. "What is wrong with you?" I ask.
She ignores me and stares into the room before staring at me. "Who were you talking to?"
"I wasn't talking to anyone"
She scoffs. "You were not talking to anyone?"
I nod. "Or did you see anyone in the room"
She pushes me aside and walks into the room fully looking around. "I heard you speaking to someone. I am very sure I heard a male's voice"
I fold my arms. "Is that the reason you are here?"
She ignores me and walks into the bathroom. I followed behind her and stood by the door.
"How long will you go on with this?"
"Where did you hide him? Did you let him out through the window?"
I groan. "He must be really, small to pass through the window," I say in sarcasm. She glares at me and I shrug. "Can you tell me why you are here now?". She walks past me and opens up my wardrobe. "What are you doing?"
"Looking for the man you hid"
I stared at her before bursting into laughter. I could not stop laughing for a while.
"What's funny?" she asks and I stop laughing.
"You don't know?"
She folds her arms and frowns. "How am I supposed to know?"
"You still don't get it?"
She furrows her brows. "Get what?"
"That you are wasting your time and that you are being unreasonable"
She frowns. "I-I am unreasonable"
I nod. "Of course. You walk into someone's room to look for someone who doesn't exist. Does it make any sense to you?"
She sighs. "Whatever" she mutters.
"Can you tell me why you are here? Or you make use of the door. I do not like seeing your face"
"Not like I love to see yours either"
I brush my hair backward. "Why are you here?"
She ignores me and walks to the door. "I am leaving" she mutters and I nod.
"Good for you"
She slams the door and I groan slightly. No wonder her mother wants to lock her up. She acts like someone who really, needs to sleep in the cell.
"Her mom should lock her up" I mutter.
"You both look like a perfect couple" Melvin sags.
I groan. "Me and her? Never"
"I really, think you guys do"
I scoff, sitting on the couch. "If you don't have anything to say. You had better go back into the gem. I've got better things to do"
He scoffs. "You're acting just like her"
