As I woke up this morning I had to make sure A-O didn't see me from her house next door. Ducking under every window I came across. Still traumatized by yesterday's incident. I didn't get much sleep either, since I was too busy guarding my home hoping they wouldn't kick in my front door. But for some strange reason, I felt relief knowing that A-O felt this way about me, I was glad that she cared about me. But why was I happy that I felt this way about the person hated most? What was this strange tight stirring sensation in my chest? Why did this always happen to me every time I'm with her? Why does my heart pound twice as fast when I'm with her? Something is wrong with me, Mabey I'm sick? That's the only possibility that makes sense, but if I was sick how come I only feel this way around A-O Mabey she was the problem and I needed to get rid of her. This is the moment when I decided that I was going to kill A-O.
I took a different route to school this morning with hopes of being able to think up a plan on how I was going to kill A-O. Mabey I can make it look like an accident? Or Mabey I didn't have to at all? Mabey I was just in too much stress, but was there really another way? As I made my way up the stairs toward the classroom my head was spinning beating as if it had a heartbeat. I stumbled towards my seat gathering all the strength I had just trying to walk and sit down.
"Hey, are you ok you don't look so good?" said Akira, Akira was one of my closest friends who I met 2 years ago during my 8th-grade year. One of the main reasons he's such a good friend is because he's just like A-O but less annoying.
"Yea I'm doing just fine," I responded. "All Alright, let me know if you need to go to the infirmary so I can ditch class with you."
" S-sure," I said disappointed even though Akira is one of the top 5 students at Shikei Academy he is one of the laziest people I've met in my life. As I sat in my seat staring across the snow-covered campus I wondered what I was going to do to get rid of A-O. Then the bell rang, school was already over? Oh well better start heading home but as I walked home everything started spinning, the snow under my feet started crunching louder, and louder with each step I took, and then everything turned black as I felt my body drop towards the ground like a leaf in the fall nobody noticed it. I soon woke up in a cold bright room.
"Where am I?"
"Welcome back you're at Kurashiki hospital!" said a lively, cheerful, familiar voice.
"Hello, who are y-!" It was Ms.Fukuhara! What was she doing here at a hospital she's just a school nurse! "Why are you here!"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean why are you here working in a hospital, aren't you just a school nurse?!" " Of course I work here I don't plan to just be a school nurse forever you know! Now it's time to check your temperature!"
Well, I guess this wasn't so bad she didn't seem to be doing anything out of the ordinary so I guess this was fine she is my caretaker for as long as I'm here after all." Oh my!"
"What happened is something wrong!"
" It seems that there are no thermometers here!" " What do you mean there are no thermometers we are literally in a hospital!"
" Come on calm down Jiro Don't get your panties in a twist so soon after just waking up!" "now lay down I need to check your temperature!"
"with what thermometer!"
"Don't need one!" she said in a playful tone.
"What do you mean you don't need on-!" I was interrupted by her throwing herself upon me
" See I don't need a thermometer ill just use my body!"
" How can you be so careless!"
"Shush just lay back relax and let me do my job ok."
"O-Ok but is this necessary?!"
" No more talking." She said pushing me down now let me check your temperature," she said pressing her forehead onto mine.
"Damn too close!" I thought to myself as my heart raced I've never been this close to a girl before!
" Oh my you're burning up!" she said as she leaned back sitting on my lap. " Huh!?" she said confused "What's this I feel something hard under me?" Crap I was so distracted by her I didn't even realize the even bigger situation that was going on down there!
" OH my don't tell me I got you all excited just by that Jiro!?" my face immediately turned into a bright red looking away trying to avoid eye contact. " My my looks like someone is embarrassed about getting excited over a young woman like me!?"
"NO IM NOT!" I said turning my head to the side my cheeks flushed and my face becoming a bright red.
" you should be honored that a young beautiful woman like me who is this kind to you there are tons of men who would kill for a shot with me you know!"
Who would kill for a shot with such a crazy woman! I need to get out of here! I thought to myself.
" Not so fast Jiro she said pointing towards my leg. It was chained to the hospital bed!
" Aw come on! Is that even legal!?" I yelled
"Well, there isn't a law saying that it isn't so I guess not? I also won't be letting you get away like last time because today I'm going to have my fun with you!" she said pining then tying me down on the mattress. This was it this was the end she was going to devour me! I was the prey I was a rabbit and she was a wolf! That's when I heard fast footsteps echoing down the hall and the crash of the door being kicked down and slamming against the floor!
" YOU!" said Ms.Fukuhara.
"Jiro!" It was A-O!, I didn't expect her to be here but how did she know I was here? "Don't worry Jiro I'll get you out of that old lady's filthy hands!"
" How many times do I need to tell you I'm only 22 you brat!" and just like two lions fighting over their prey they began to argue on who would be leaving with me. Objects were flying across the room left and right the tension in the air was getting greater and greater with each passing second.
"This is my chance!" I thought to myself as I slowly snuck out of the room and began to run down the halls.
"Where do you think you're going!" shouted the both of them as they began to quickly catch up to me.
"Crap!" I exclaimed almost tumbling down the stairs. I need to focus I can't let them catch me! But for some odd reason, the situation seemed to be all too familiar.
"Jiro!" shouted A-O as she lunged toward me in an attempt to catch me. I quickly dodged as I made my way out of the building. Into a taxi that was parked right in front of the entrance.
"Where do you think you're going?" said a familiar voice, It was Ms.Fukuhara!
" Shit!" I said jumping out of the taxi running down the road towards the shopping district. I can't get caught there has to be a way out of this! I ran down the road until I saw my street in the distance. There it is!, I'm saved! I thought to myself relieved that I would soon be safe I ran down the street until I had finally made it home.
"Finally!" I was safe at last! I threw myself onto the sofa exhausted, Why do I have to go through this?!" "why can't I just go to a normal school with normal people and live a normal life!" I said letting out a sigh.
"Jiro!" Called my sister from up the stairs. "Yes, what is it?" I said as I made my way upstairs,
"Are you ready?"
" Ready for what"
"Don't tell me you forgot?"
"Forget what?" "It's Friday A-O and her family will be coming over soon so get yourself cleaned up and get ready your such a mess right now.
" What!! It was Friday already! I'm going to die! I thought to myself. This is the end for me, Who knew I would live such a dull disappointing life. I haven't even made any accomplishments or did anything helpful for society, let alone graduate! But maybe there was a solution. Mabey there was something that I could do to bring an end to all of this madness.
