Sitara was standing at the doorway with a questioning gaze.
"When did you returned?" Kush asked surprisedly.
The girl just shrugged her shoulder and entered inside the room before closing the door shut again. "It's been two hours already, but that's not the point. Answer the question, whom are you talking about?"
They looked at each others faces before Nitin spoke, "Krishna Bharadwaj, the President of KB Group of corporations."
Something stirred inside her as she heard the name, she just looked at her uncle with eyes full of curiosity. "Krishna Bharadwaj?!" The name roll out of her lips smoothly as an idea popped in her mind. "Since I've returned in this country, I'm listening this name everywhere. May I know, who exactly is this person?"
Rishi sighed listening her question, It's time for her to know this, he decided to tell her everything that they knows, "Krishna Bharadwaj, the founder owner of KB Group, one of the top two leading business concern in the world. He is the unseen dictator of not only this but so many other countries. Ranked as the second powerful & richest man in the world asper the survey of Forbes."
Sitara raised her brows with sheer interest, "Umm, ok! What's his background?"
"Nobody knows nothing about him, other than his own specialized team, nobody in this world has ever seen him. We don't know how he talks like, or looks like. But rumors says that he's the ugliest being on earth. It is said that he's heartless, without any feelings. A devil—in disguise!"
Her eyes brightened with curiosity, "Bhai, the way you're describing him, I'm falling in love with hi—"
"Princess!!"
Her head snapped towards her uncle as she heard him shout. Nitin looked at her with warning in his eyes, "Don't you dare utter that word from your mouth ever! Getting him as a life partner can never be a blessing, he's nothing but the dealer of death!"
Sitara was taken aback by the sudden outburst of her uncle, "Mamu, please relax! I'm sorry, I was just kidding. I.. I didn't said anything seriously. I'm sorry!" She immediately apologized to Nitin realizing her mistake.
After looking at the guilty expression on her face he felt regret, never ever he had shouted onto her. He walked towards her and stroked her head lovingly, "Princess, I'm sorry for shouting onto you." Rose just hugged him, "I shouldn't have said that, it was my mistake. I'm sorry, maamu."
"It's fine!" He patted her back. The others just stared at them. They could understand why Nitin lost his composure. They loves her so much to even think about giving her to a person like Krishna Bharadwaj, they just shivered with the mere thought of it.
"Why are you guys so stressed over him? Did anything happened?" The small question of the girl brought everyone back to the present.
Rishi nod his head, "Did you heard anything about Maheshwari's?"
Rose felt a little puzzled with the sudden question, she shook her head in no after thinking for a while. "Well, they are finished." Rick answered her unsaid question.
"I don't understand, what you mean by that?" Rose asked with utter confusion while looking at him with questioning gaze.
"Look at this, you'll know everything." Rose took the laptop from Rishi which he held out for her, but then her eyes widened. She snapped her head towards him for confirmation.
Rishi understood what was going on in her mind and nod, "It's absolutely correct, the information is 100% authentic. KB group has become the owner of the 56% shares of the Maheshwari group." He announced stressfully.
A wave of shock & astonishment washed over her as she stared at the laptop screen, "H–how did it happen? If this is true then why nobody have any clue about it? Why are we unaware about it?" She asked feeling rather bewildered, suspicious & strange.
Rishi nod his head understanding, "They still didn't staked their claim over the chair of CEO. This news is totally suppressed, they had only took the charge of their four coal mines & the harbour for now."
Rose fell in deep thought, this is not something normal. "Are there any kind of rivalry between this Krishna Bharadwaj & Maheshwari's? I don't understand why he suddenly targeted them?"
Without any specific reason why a person like him would target them? This doesn't seem right, there's surely some motives, but what?
"That's the question, we've investigated it upto a certain level, but found nothing." Raghav answered breaking her trail of thoughts.
"For the last two weeks, Suhas & his father is trying to get at least one appointment, but no avail, it looks like they're not ready to even spare five minutes for them." Kush informed about the futile attempts of the father & son to meet Kabir Bharadwaj, the Vice President of KB group.
The girl fell silent listening everything, all the information started to run in her mind.
Then after staying quiet for a while an amused chuckle escaped from her throat as she realized something, "It seems like he's playing with them! Interesting, very interesting!"
"What you mean? Who's playing?" Rick asked not understanding her sudden statement.
Rose stood before the window with a smile on her face, "Isn't it clear? He is the legal owner of every single property that belonged to Maheshwari's, but still he's not staking his claim onto it. What he's doing is basically called poking & nothing else. If he wants, then it's a matter of a moment to smash them, isn't it?
Huuh!! It's looks like a lion is playing with a small rabbit. If my calculations are not so wrong, then they're not gonna get any appointment so soon. My dear brothers from another mothers, stop worrying unnecessarily and enjoy the show. I'm not sure about how they offended the man, but one thing that I can say, Maheshwari's had dug their own grave."
"So, you're saying that there's nothing to worry?!" Nitin asked his niece in a bewildered manner while others stared at her questionably. "Indeed!"
Rose turned back with a relaxed expression, "By your description one thing is clear, this Krishna Bharadwaj is a very distinguished personality, a very formidable person. If that's true, then why would he target the elites of this country without any proper reason? Why would he wage a war against us without any reason, it doesn't make any sense.
Remember, an emperor cannot run his empire alone, he always needs some very trustworthy allys who will support him, work for him, help him to rule all over his kingdom. And being the supreme elites of the country we holds much more power than anyone.
A smart person with their right state of mind would never think about our destruction, instead he would try to use that power for his empire's betterment. We are not just any random rich, but the century old families of this country, don't forget it."
"Maheshwari's doesn't worth his time, nor attention. And if they're getting any of it, then it's very clear, they had offended the emperor knowingly or unknowingly. Now, it's their job to find out about how exactly did they offended such a formidable person. We're just onlookers and nothing else." After explaining her point, she walked towards the door but turned again.
"I can bet, this emperor is in his absolutely right state of mind. It's gonna be interesting!" With the smile she stepped out of the room while munching on her apple.
The men just stared at each other in shock and surprise. They were confused about if she praised him or criticized. "And she says that she has no idea about business!"
"Arrghh!! I never knew that she also can praise someone so beautifully!!" Rick rubbed his ears to check if they're working properly.
"What was that? Why do I feel like she just complimented him?!" Raghav wondered in a sense of bewilderment while others nod in agreement with him.
Nitin & Rishi looked at each other meaningfully, "This doesn't feel right, keep watch onto her, she should not take any interest in Krishna Bharadwaj! I don't want that man anywhere close to her!"

While they turned themselves busy in keeping Sitara far far away from Krishna, fate just smirked at them, it turned busy in pulling them close to each other.
For the first time tonight, unknowingly Sitara took the first step towards her fate! Her destiny! Towards Krishna Bharadwaj!
