A middle aged man stepped out of his luxurious car and walked towards him with his bodyguards.
Rajveer stared at the pair of legs before looking up to see the man standing before him. His age was around fifty years, but anybody would believe that he was fourty.
In his maroon three piece suit he was looking handsome, there was a watch around his wrist. He glanced over it to look at the time before bending down to his height.
His eyes was filled with malice, there was a sinister smile on his face. He stared at the man without blinking his eyelashes.
The man held out his hand towards one of his bodyguards for something. He stepped forward and put a medium sized black box over his palm.
He brought it in front of Rajveer to see his reaction, his eyes widened as he looked at it. "H–how did you get it?"
The man laughed maliciously, "Aah, your girlfriend!" Shock & disbelief flashed in his eyes as he heard the answer.
"What have y... you done with herr..? W.. where is she? Rajveer asked in a worried manner while trying to stand up on his legs.
"Hey! Please don't take it as an offence, I didn't do anything to her. I just gave her a proposal which she accepted. Wait, let me call her here." He stood up and signalled towards a very beautiful young lady who was standing a little far away from them.
She nod and walked over towards him before giving her hand to the man who was standing with his hand outstretched for her, "Baby, say hii to your ex-boyfriend. He's thinking that I'd done something bad with you."
The young lady smiled sweetly at him before kissing onto his lips in front of everyone. Then she bent down, "Good morning baby, how are you feeling? You know, I'm very sorry for betraying you! But, what could I do, he offered me a life full of wealth, while you just offered me love.
I put the two into each side of the balancing scale, and found out that wealth is much more heavier than love. So I chose it, please don't be mad at me, baby!" She said each words while stroking his face in a seducing manner.
Rajveer just stared into her eyes which were filled with mockery. He wanted to ask her something, but stayed silent. "You never loved me, isn't it?" He finally asked in a dejected tone when the girl was ready to stood up.
She turned towards him resonating a small but taunting laugh, "Babyy, you took too much time to realise it. But as you've asked the question finally, let me answer it. Not just you, but I'd never loved anyone else other than money."
With the curt reply she turned her heels and walked towards the man. "Sweetie, please finish the game fast. I'm waiting for you." They shared a passionate kiss before the girl stepped inside the car.
"I must say, your ex-girlfriend is really something. I just cannot get enough of her." He said while staring at her luscious figure with dripping lust.
Rajveer wanted slice him into pieces for uttering those words, but his limbs felt so week to even move a little. After an entire night of merciless torture, they brought him here in this desert.
"Rajveer, as you helped me in getting the most precious thing, my black box. Today I want to tell you something, a secret!" He looked at the man, "Do you know where we're standing now?"He said while observing their surroundings.
Rajveer furrowed his brows, the man looked at his confusion and talked, "This was a village long ago, Karana. Yes, the lost village Karana. Which was destroyed by an explosion eighteen years ago. The whole village was burnt down in one night.
You know why I brought you here? Because this is my favorite place. Eighteen years ago my life took the golden turn from this village, that dreadful night brought the never ending light in my life."
"That night I finished the greatest enemy of my life. We just burnt two hundred people alive in one night, also turned the villege into a lifeless desert!" Chills run down of his spine as Rajveer listened to the man.
There was a vicious & victorious smile on his face as he was remembering the night again.
"You know, I've planned a very interesting death for you. You see, they are starving since tomorrow." He pointed out towards the five dogs who were eyeing Rajveer like he was a piece of meat.
Rajveer felt horrified, "Y.. you cannot do this to me, I.. I helped you, this was not in the deal." He plead for mercy. But the man just shook his head, "Indeed, you really have helped me. Without you I wouldn't have ever reached to this thing. But, as you reminded me of the deal, let me ask you, did cheating was included in the deal?"
He took a knife from his man and walked towards him, "The deal was, you'll bring me the black box and I'll give you ten million. Then why did you cheated on me?"
He put the knife over his throat before sliding it down slowly towards his chest. "I hate cheaters, I also hate cheating!" He said while aiming for his chest.
The heart inside his rib cage stopped as Rajveer felt it was the last moment of his life, he closed his eyes shut while waiting for the sword to slash his body.
"Hey, are you scared?" His eyes snapped open as he heard the amused question. The man was standing a little far away from him and giving him an amused expression.
Rajveer quickly trailed his eyes down to see nothing but a small wound over his collarbone. A sigh of relief escaped from his mouth when he noticed the man looking at the dogs, not particularly them but the men behind them who were holding the chains.
The tiny relief turned into horror just he noticed the chain slipping out of their hands while the dogs running towards him with much ferocity.
"Good bye, Rajveer!" The man waved his hand while grinning from ear to ear.
The guy felt all his hopes died and closed his eyes to welcome what was approaching him. The dogs jumped onto him at once from every direction resulting him to fell down on the sand helplessly.....
