Chapter 56 - Karma, The Biggest Bitch!

"What you mean?" Girish asked not understanding the meaning of his statement.

Krishna stood up with his hands in his trouser's pocket, ignoring the gun which was pointed onto him.

"Mr. Girish Thapar, you didn't changed even a little. You're still a dumb & dickhead, now I know why your partners wanted to eliminate you from their path." It was a small statement, but the gun in his hand shook as Girish listened his taunt.

"You! What are you trying to in... indicate?" He asked not believing him quietly, he thought it was another trick of his nephew and tightened his grip onto the gun.

Krishna didn't replied, but held his right hand out, Sheetal was standing behind him, she understood the message & stepped forward with a phone in her hand, she put it onto his palm. Krishna nod lightly and brought it before his eyes. Then dialed a number in his phone and put it into speaker.

Girish was too confused about everything and just stared at the phone with his eyes & ears on high alert. In the back of his mind there was a question, a suspicion. But he didn't permitted his heart to believe it.

However, the call was received after the second ring, "Hello!"

A male voice could be heard from the other side, Girish immediately recognized the voice and opened his mouth, but before he could say anything the man from other side talked, "What's the matter, Rajveer? Did you finished Girish or not? We're waiting for you for so long."

Chill ran down his spine as he heard the words, the gun which he was holding till now slipped and fell down on the sand. He stood there like a lifeless statue.

The man from the other side talked again, but this time in a frustrated & angry tone, ."Why aren't you talking, tell us if that dumbass died! We'd waited for so long just for this day...!"

Krishna didn't said a word and just disconnected the phone before returning it too Sheetal, "Destroy it now!" The lady nod her head and returned to others.

He turned towards Girish, "What happened, Mr. Girish? Are you shocked? But why, this is very natural. This is the thing which was meant to happen, isn't it?" There was mockery in his voice, he was just amused.

But this time the man didn't responded, he didn't showed any anger or hatred. Yes, why am I feeling so shocked and disheartened? This was the thing which he knew would happen, sooner or later.

Krishna was not even an ounce of sympathized with the man, today finally he was able to see the same pain of betrayal, shock & anguish in the eyes of the man, which he first saw in his father's eyes in that dreadful night.

"Those were the person for whom you betrayed your family! Those are the person for whom you killed your father! You killed that sister who literally brought you up! You even snatched my father from me! Huuh! Today they didn't even thought for a second time before killing you!" Krishna spat the words over his face mercilessly before signaling one of his men.

A killer like man stepped out of the group and walked towards him with something in his hand. Girish felt horrified looking at the thing properly, it was a medium sized, heavier wooden stick.

If anyone looks at it carefully, then they'll be able to see it's edge, which was filled with uncountable sharp nails which were shining brightly under the sunlight.

The man hand it over to Krishna and moved aside, Krishna just looked at it once before turning towards Girish, "So, it's time to say goodbye, get ready!"

He raised his hand but before even he could do anything Girish dropped on his feet and clutched his legs with his hands, "Krishna, please don't kill me! H.. how could you do something so heinous with me, di... did you forget I'm y.. your ma.. mamu! Please, let... let me go! I... I swear, I'll leave this coun... country, and ne.. never said any... anything about your ex... exis..tance!"

Krishna cocked his head and looked at the man who was pleading desperately, without blinking his eyelashes or uttering a single word, it seemed like he was lost in thoughts.

Then he spoke suddenly, "You're right, you are my uncle. The only brother of my mother, okay, if that's what you wish for, then fine. I'll give you a chance to save your life, run!" Krishna said the words casually while turning around and walking away.

Girish sneered in his heart, he never thought that his nephew would really fall in his trap. He didn't wasted anymore second and started to run for his life.

"Boss, are you really gonna let him off?" Sheetal asked the question feeling a little bit confused with the man's sudden action.

But as she looked in the blank and cold eyes, she suddenly remembered something. He was not just anyone, but the Krishna Bharadwaj. Mercy was nowhere written in his dictionary.

Krishna stopped before his dogs and caressed them a little before pulling out something from his pocket, it was a handkerchief.

He brought it before their noses for them to take the smell, the dogs were meticulously trained. They immediately understood the underlying meaning of the action of their master and turned towards the direction where Girish was still running.

Bhow!

Bhow!

Bhow!

They barked once before running towards the man with such ferocity. Krishna stood up and stared at them plainly with his hands in his trouser's pocket.

None of his men uttered a single word, they felt goosebumps on their skin with the mere thought of the horrible, horrific end of the man.

....

Girish was running as fast as he could when he suddenly felt something amiss. Turning behind his eyes widened in horror, five big and hungry dogs were running towards him.

His heart stuck in his throat as he started to run faster, but then he noticed the endless desert and the hopes died down in his heart, realization sturcked him.

A self deprecating smile appeared on his face as he remembered the last words of his father before his last breath. "Karma is the biggest bitch, it never leaves anybody! You have to bear the tenfold of what you're giving to others!"
