-The month of Wynnethel, the 1st, year ATC 3,527-
A sad smile crossed Celines face as she nodded solemnly, "I'm afraid that is infact the case, my friend. You and I both know the Exiled King, your father, is mad with rage and could never let go of what was." as she walked by Heiracles, she placed her heavy hand on his shoulder, "Be strong, Kiles."
After Celine walked past him it seemed almost as if she disappeared, but as he turned his head towards the door they came in from it was as if there was an after image of her walking towards and leaving through the door.
After a moment of consideration, watching the closed door to the changing room, Heiracles turned back towards Ila'Mu, saying "If we must leave quickly, I will need to inform my wife, Adalia, to prepare our daughter Andromedy and prepare travel rations. Wait here, please."
He moved quickly towards the door connecting to his bedroom with his wife and their small child, stepping through the doorway quietly as to not wake either his wife or daughter. Tiptoeing to their bed, he sat on the edge of the bed, placing his hand on her hip to shake her, he noticed she seemed cold. Colder then she should be, so he shook her. "Adalia, my love.. "
Finally, rolling her over, he saw her face was dead white. Placing his first two fingers to her throat, and the wrist of his other immediately under her nose.
There was no breath. No pulse. Looking towards her left hand, he could clearly see her bracelet halfway through its detachment process, the midnight glow to his eyes lit up brighter for a moment, as anger flared through his entire body and the few candles lit in the room grew and brightened along with his anger before he managed to gain control over his emotions again.
"How could this have happened." His mind raved and raced from one idea to the next. Was it a sibling? Was the secret faction hidden within the ranks of Dark Duon that wished to overthrow his Father behind it?

I want to dedicate a section of each chapter to the love of my life, Kreation. For supporting my dream and urging me forward on my desires to finally 'put pen to paper', so to speak by writing out my book for you all to read, thank you so much for the support and love. 🥰
