It was the girl with black hair, the two other girls behind her as the three of them left the stairwell. Frigs stood up and asked, his brows furrowed, "What are you talking about?"
The girl said to him, "Are you deaf? Come here and kneel before me, I'll let you live if you lick my shoe until it's clean!"
Frigs crossed his arm, "No u!"
The small hobbit girl working as receptionist hurriedly left the room. The girl with the black hair became visibly frustrated. Seeing her, the blonde girl stepped forward and approached Frigs with a wicked smile.
Once she was close enough, she extended her arm and swung it toward Frigs's face, slapping him right on his cheek. Bell stood up from her chair right at that moment, Frigs regained his composure at that moment and he stared right at the blonde girl that just slapped him.
Of course, he was having none of it. He slapped the girl right on her cheek as a form of retribution. The girl held her hand to her cheek and stared at him with eyes widened and furrowed brows.
(Fun fact, the first thing I'm gonna write on this scene is actually the girl getting headshot and then being punched while on the ground exactly three times like a knocked-down UFC fighter)
"How dare you!" Frigs sighed and shrugged.
The girl raised her hand once again and just like before, Frigs was having none of it, before the blonde girl's hand reached his face as it was coming down, his hand reached the girl's cheek once again.
The same look was given from the blonde girl but she was speechless, 'This guy dare to slap me two times!'
However, before she could even raise her hand for the third time, the girl with the red hair stepped forward. The blonde girl took a step back as the red-haired girl said, "You are just a mere receptionist, but you dare to slap my friend on the cheek, not once, but twice,"
Frigs sighed and shrugged with a smile on his face, "You know, being a noble in this world, just because you were born to someone with power, doesn't mean you can go around and slap random people because the never did the thing you told them to do,"
The girl gritted her teeth. As she was opening her mouth, the door opened, revealing Connor and the small hobbit girl standing beside him. He shouted, "Everyone calm down and sit down!"
The three girls looked at him, slightly sweating, but they slowly made their way onto one of the tables, gathering around it. Connor rushed toward Frigs and Bell, "Bell, are you okay?"
Bell chuckled, "I'm fine, the one that's not fine is in front of me,"
She smiled, thinking, 'Edward, he has some sense of justice… it wouldn't be so bad to date someone with power that could do great deeds…'
Connor turned toward Frigs and bowed his head before asking, "Sir, are you okay?"
Frigs chuckled, "Of course I'm fine, do you not remember the one that has beaten your butt before?"
Connor jokingly chuckled as a response before slowly going around Frigs's table and toward the three girls. Of course, the look on their face when Frigs faced them were… interesting to him.
Scared and producing cold tear as Connor asked them, "What the heck did you all do to Edward? Don't you know that he is someone from a great noble house?"
The blonde girl responded, still with her hands holding her cheek, "But… But when we entered the hotel, he is the receptionist!"
Frigs sighed and turned to Bell, "Bell… I don't want to hear their voice, it hurts my ear. Why not we leave the hotel and find a quiet place?"
The girl smiled and nodded.
Soon, the two of them found themselves on the peak of one of the low hill, watching the scenery of the small, peaceful hobbit village as the hobbits waved at them. Bell smiled, "You know…?"
Frigs jokingly responded, "No I don't"
Bell chuckled before going silent, "… Back then, this village is more of a battlefield than a village. Hobbits families were fighting each other. The first day I'm here, I saw hobbit getting killed as I made the announcement…"
Frigs nodded, not giving any words as a response, Bell continued, "But look at this village now. Peaceful… Sometimes violence is not the answer but what you did in the hotel…"
Frigs jokingly interrupted her, "I know, I know, don't thank me, I was simply doing some favour to make those spoiled brats realize the hard work of people"
Bell looked down on the village, slightly nodding before saying, "You know… I thought it would be a lot better if we were elves. Peaceful nature, filled with kindness, even the nobles are not corrupt,"
Frigs responded, agreeing to her, "Well yea… why don't the two of us visit the elves one day?"
Bell shook her head, "We are the future officers and possibly generals. We would be sent to an area of conflict all the time. Probably orcs or demons, I heard there were a demon outbreak at the northeast, on the mountain of dwarves"
Frigs sighed, "I don't want to consider that future, seeing soldiers under me die…"
The girl nodded with a grim face, "Same, even if it's a loyal soldier, would be hard to see them laying on the battlefield, not even moving. But it's the nature of war, and it won't change anytime soon,"
Frigs nodded, "True…. Anyway, it seems that the situation at the hotel has calmed down. Look there, Connor left the hotel with my assistant, Louis,"
He slowly got himself up, but even before his butt left the ground, Bell took Frigs's hand, "No, I don't want to meet them. I am a simple girl, living inside the barony of the blonde girl's dad. She bullied me every day, I can't even sleep at night,"
Frigs placed himself on the ground next to her once again as she continued, "It's nice that someone helped me… Thank you, Edward"
Frigs faced her and right at the same time, unexpectedly, she leapt forward and their lips met.
