Frigs gulped as he opened his mouth, "I-I-I want talents… talents of all of the magic elements,"
The old man laughed out loud, continuing rubbing his long goatee as he said, "You are indeed wise!"
Frigs slightly smiled, but the old man said to him, "But no, your wish cannot be given to you,"
Frigs asked, hesitantly, "Bu-but why?"
The old man sighed, "I am not a human, not a mortal even though I once was. As the higher being, we can't interfere too much with the affairs of the mortals. I can give you the talent of two other elements, but not more!"
Frigs thought about it for a few seconds. As he was thinking the old man said, "Choose wisely, for two elements shall not fight each other!"
Frigs answered not long after, "Fire and wood, these two elements don't fight with each other. But fire is, of course, the dominant one."
The old man chuckled and raised his staff, "Shall we meet for the last time, you can use one more wish!"
A blinding light appeared out of nowhere from the staff and Frigs woke up. He found himself laying on Jiq's office. He slowly got himself up to the sitting position and immediately saw Louis staring at him.
Louis smiled, "What did you wish for?"
Frigs smiled slightly, "Just more talents, fire and wood. Can you help me find the guide for those elements?"
Louis smiled, "Of course I can, but wood… there is not much with that kind of element. It's considered very rare and hard to find…"
Jiq interrupted him, "Louis, go talk in your room, I have a guest coming,"
Soon, the two of them found themselves laying on the bed inside their room. In Frigs's hands, there was a book with red cover. He opened the book and began to slowly reading it quietly.
"The fire element, it is said that the people that has this element can create fire without fire in the area. The element is not that different from other common elements, using mana and converting it into fire. Here's the magic tier of the fire element:"
First tier: You can create small, non-lethal fire
Seconds tier: You can create a medium-sized power around the size of oranges
Third tier: You can create a fire as big as watermelon
Fourth tier: At this point, you can spurt fire out of your hand and create a formation
Fifth tier: You can produce larger amount and hotter fire
Sixth tier: Reaching this point, you can change the temperature of the room just by using a small fireball
Seventh tier: You can create a fire tornado and change the temperature of a small town
Eighth tier: Just by using magic, a city can be burnt down
Ninth tier: The fire you created will be as hot as a guy that even straight man can fall in love with
Tenth tier: just by using magic and spells, you can change the season of the year for a short period of time
"All of this is just speculation!"
Frigs chuckled, 'Alright, that's too excessive, but I guess it will work. The book said that I can create a formation on the fourth tier. But since this formation will be placed… at the inside of the gun, it would be extremely small!'
He sighed as he closed the book and grabbed another book out of nowhere. Now it has a brown cover. He began reading it quietly once again.
"The wood element, it is extremely rare to find. The power it yields is not that great, but it's great for construction and creating paths. Here's the magic tier of the wood element:"
First tier: You can create a small block of wood
Seconds tier: You can create a medium-sized block of wood
Third tier: You can create a block of wood that can fit a watermelon
Fourth tier: At this point, you can create more detailed wood stuffs
Fifth tier: You can create even more detailed wood stuffs
Sixth tier: you can create bigger and thicker wood stuffs and also trees
Seventh tier: You can create even even even even more detailed wood stuffs
Eighth tier: You can create even even even even even even even even even even even even even more detailed wood stuffs
Ninth tier: The wood you create will contain mana inside of it that I can be used as a storage
Tenth tier: You can create a world tree. A tree that gives life with its root.
"All of this is just speculation!"
Tears began forming inside his teary eyes, 'I regret choosing this, why did I even choose this?"
He wiped all the tears out of his eyes and closed the book, 'Even though the element is almost useless at the early stage, I can imagine being Hashiram* from Narut*…'
Frigs sighed, 'Well, I can make guns from the wood element but will it be as powerful as…'
Something clicked inside his head as he softly slapped himself, 'Damn it! I'm here to help the goblins to gain independence! Not domination of this world!'
Louis noticed and raised one of his eyebrows while asking, "Something disturbing you?"
Frigs stared at him for a few seconds before shaking his head with a light smile on his face, "Nothing, I will go to the woods to train for the element,"
Louis raised his hand and gave Frigs a thumbs up as he made his way and left the room. He soon found himself walking, just about to leave the castle used as the building for the school when he noticed a familiar face.
Connor and Bell, riding their horse calmly. They both noticed Frigs not long after but didn't spur their horses toward him.
As the two of them made their way toward Frigs and Frigs did the same. Frigs saw a cloud of dust forming right behind the two juniors of his. Soon, a man could be seen with his horse galloping toward the school grounds.
Frigs was in the middle of the yard at that moment when he saw the one with the galloping horse slapping Connor right on the back of his head.
