For the rest of the school year, Frigs practised his magic, reaching the sixth tier of each of the three elements, fire, wood and steel. The third year of his was spent on the time learning whatever the class learnt in the first year of school. Frigs didn't bother.
Soon, it was the end of his school years. Near the winter, the students of the class that survived were gathered in the yard early in the morning around six. Not five minutes later, the principal, Jiq and their teacher, Ms Sophia, came out of the big school gate.
With the smile on each of their faces, they both got on the wooden stage, in front of the small crowd of students. First, Jiq stepped forward, hands behind him, he said, "Students of the imperial military school…"
