Right after he left his hotel, he took a deep breath as he stared into the blue sky while the warm sun welcomed him. But all of a sudden, out of nowhere, he felt a bump on his leg and heard, "Ahh!"
A loud thud followed closely.
Hurriedly, Frigs directed his eyes to the direction of the source. On his right, he noticed a girl, a hobbit girl on the ground. Rubbing her eyes with her one hand while the other supported her body.
Next to her was a basket with its content on the ground near it, white cloths, brushes and a big square block of an item, covered with a white cloth that has the words, 'Soap'
But ignoring all of that, Frigs immediately apologized to the girl as he slowly dropped on his one kneed, "I'm sorry, are you okay?"
The girl got herself up and began cleaning herself, using her hands, dusting off all the dirt, "Yea, I'm fine, how about you, mister?"
Frigs smiled, "I'm also good. Now let me help you with all the items"
He collected and folded one of the white cloth nearest to him. The girl chuckled and said, "Actually, don't fold them. I will need to wash them now, the brushes too! For now, you can bring the soap and place it in the empty space under the reception,"
Frigs complied, obviously feeling that he is guilty of standing in the middle of the road. He grabbed the bar of soap. The first word that came to his mind is, 'Wow, this is actually pretty heavy…'
But he managed to lift it up and placed it on his shoulder, now with the soap resting on his shoulder, Frigs slowly took a step forward, opened the door and entered the room. Once inside, he recognized the wooden reception pretty quickly and made his way over there, dropping on his one knee and placed the large block of soap at the empty space.
While pushing the large block of soap inside, he heard the door opened and a series of laughter could be heard following the sound of the door. What followed the laughter was the voice of a female, "This village is so shaggy!"
Another voice of a girl could be heard, "I know, right? Just like Bell herself, ugly and poor!"
Frigs clenched his fist upon hearing the unfamiliar voices reaching his ears, talking about the girl he has a feeling for. Right after he placed the soap inside, he got himself up and wanted to confront the source of the voice.
What greeted him was the sight of three women, in the decorated clothing, to be more precise, dresses. All of them looked beautiful, but not innocent, nor do they look young.
(Just imagine those girls are… Rapunzel's fake mother)
The first one has black hair and green eyes, the second one has blonde hair and brown eyes, meanwhile, the third one has blazing red hair and eyes. Of course, they all have the punch attracting face.
But if only not for the four armoured knights with their helms on their hand and the other hand on the hilts of their sword, Frigs would have punched the three women. But instead, he smiled as asked, "Greeting beautiful ladies, what can I do to help you for today?"
The three women chuckled while covering their mouth with their hands, the red colour could be seen slightly on their faces. One of them, the one with the blonde hair, asked, "Greeting, young, handsome man. We came here so that we can have a room, a proper place to rest or perhaps…"
She slowly moved her hands to the counter and made her way with one of her hands toward Frigs's own hands. Then with a snaky look, she continued, "Perhaps… a place to play with some strong men,"
Frigs retracted his hand from the counter as fast as possible, and then looked down, 'They keep the keys on here, right? RIGHT?? FUC, LOOKING AT THEM MAKING ME WANT TO PUKE!'
Then he saw a small drawer with a piece of paper glued to it that has the words, "Bedroom keys"
He opened it, hurriedly but at the same time, calmly, without making any sudden gesture. Inside the drawer, he saw a medium-sized piece of paper inside. He repeated the words on it inside his mind, 'Room 1 to 15 is classic room, cost 5 coppers. Room 15 to 20 is exclusive room, cost 1 silver. Room 20 to 23 is VIP room, cost 5 silver. Room 24 is VVIP room, cost 1 gold coin'
Above the paper was a series of keys that have another small piece of paper glued to them, laid out from number one on the top left and moving to the number 24 at the bottom right.
He sighed in relief and then asked to the three women, "So… beautiful ladies, what kind of room do you want for today?"
The one with the red hair answered almost instantly right after those word's left Frigs's mouth, "We want the best one!"
He grabbed the key with the number 24 on it and placed it on the counter, then said with a smile, "One gold coin please!"
The girl with the black hair grabbed the key and with the two other women, they proceeded walking toward the stair. The knights stepped forward. One of them sighed as he placed his helm on the counter and reached for his pouch.
He took out a piece of gold coin and placed it right beside his helm on the counter, "Here you go. Just excuse those girls' behaviour, they don't know true hardships yet"
Frigs chuckled and nodded as he took that one gold coin, "Oh yea, don't you guys want a room?"
The same guy sighed once again, "We would want one if we have more money. Those girls paid us two gold coins a day, that's the total for four of us. And they too, expect us to pay their stuffs, some time we don't have food to eat!"
Frigs sighed and placed his hand on his hips, "Yea… I understand, I met some of those in my life…"
The room were silence for a few seconds but Frigs suddenly said to them, "Well, you know what? Since you guys have no room, why not let me treat you to a room? I'll pay for the food too!"
