The Horde in the dungeon moves quickly, with the boss dead and those without any kobold using a Great Hyena. The riding order is clear Jade serving as sort of border between leaders and ordinary goblins. Ahead of her is Oda who scents stronger to her not a physical strength just stronger sort of how a gobo wearing armor looks stronger. He has an extra layer of self confidence now. The other leaders all looking radiant in their personilised garments. Even Oda has his own outfit which looks like a mirror to the one he gave to Tau.
They both black, gold and green. The shirt is short-sleeved and form fitting. Just like the pants which Jade really appreciate there are a few things as plump and a as strong goblin butt. The major difference is that Oda only has a golden compass on his while and his jacket is short with long selvees. Tau thou is filled with embroidery that's looks like the symbols on his chest. Also the back of his ankle length jacket which can be closed in the front creating a seamless look, has a carefully embellished compass who deatialing is superior to all the others and at its center the horned goblin with Emerald eyes. Everyone had gasped when they saw how well its fit the one meter two leader. He in that instance towered over all. A true goblin boss in every sense and Jade is surprised at how different the scents are between a Goblin boss like Tau and a soon to be War lord like Dimitri. In fact the entire leadership smells similar to her even Oda is adopting some their scent especially Diana's which she assured herself is alright.
Behind her is a a collection of goblins besides their mounts nothing about any of them is special, Pilo is riding right behind her. Most of the members of the Star group are shunning him. Pilo thou has his head up. They have moved past the this floor rather quickly it has very few paths. Which all lead to the fifth floor which is the first non directional floor. When they defeated the floor Tau had also picked up the map it had a complete map of all the other floors until the fifth floor. Tau had thought he hit the jackpot but on the map the other secret locations are all scratched out. The fifth floor location is the only one left that he knows of.
Tau stops his Great Hyena at an old Boabab tree, scratching on it a crude compass with eight points which we drawn in way that four of the points form a circle. It took him almost an hour to do properly as he is copying the a three dimensional shape to a flat surface. The tree's bark snaps apart torwards him spiraling out into a tunnel held together by branches. Tau moves inside quickly followed by Diana and the rest of the leaders then the Jade, Pilo behind her and the rest of the horde. The portal opens up on a Serengeti the midday sun high in the sky.
The sweet yellow grass sparkles golden under the rays of the sun. The trees spaced out cries of monsters all over the Serengeti. The portal popped out of existence with a loud boom blades of grassed displaced as the last paws exit.
"We going to head west first," says Oda his Hyena laughing at his suggestion. Tau nods and Diana waves him off. Jade follows as does the rest of the group, she of course wanted to speak to Tau about the carriage. However Tau and Gcina are arguing about her and some token, and she is winning the scents coming off is of ecstatic frustration most of the horde picked it up however not even Diana could say anything.
Tau rides still scenting of anger towards the flat snow capped dead volcano. Palesa moves up next to him. She rides closer than any other they are just out of ear shot.
"Are you sure about having him along if we find something good he could be a security risk." Asks Palesa obviously talking about Pilo. She is worried about him since with so few of them he make a get away. Especially since they are in an unknown land.
"I really like what your trying to do, I'm worried too but I'm hoping he can also show a side of him worth rediming. I don't need him to good just to show that the horde comes first which is not difficult just takes a little sacrifice." Says tau as Gcina and Diana pull up leaving Pilo behind.
Pilo is not far enough behind to make an escape, he will not escape, not because he doesn't want because he does. The main problem being that he knows nothing of the world which is really scary trying to escape into what is to Pilo darkness all around him. Plus the small life line that Tau has extended makes his feet feel like they are stuck to a massive swamp.
"How far do you think it is my dear?" Asks Gcina even if they are fighting about the token which Gcina still believes she did the right thing. Tau doesn't mind she used it but she used it on Reku who is just an old goblin to Tau. He thought she would at least find a talented similar to the tinkerer and give it to one of them. However at its most true he is mad at himself for not being nomes careful. While he unsure of Jade, Tau is willing to risk it. The possibility of her artisan talent is truly amazing.
"The peak over there with the snow, that's were we are going." Says Tau to Gcina, looking oddly at Diana she doing something he can tell as her power is fluctuating. He gazes moves all their gazes. Pilo having decided for the moment closes the distance. He knew this might happen as Tau explained to him, "we are not being rude are a mob we tend to talk amongst ourselves first then we will include just give it time Pilo. We are also have our issues which sometimes comes off as being rude. "
Pilo and Tau and actually spoken for about ten minutes while Oda was organsing with Impi and Jade about what he wanted to do. Gcina and the other leaders all listened to the conversation between him and Tau nine of them scented anything untoward so he is pretty sure he is okay as long as he stays away from the leader Diana and leader Palesa. Tau is probably the only gobo left he can talk to so he hopes to try.
"Alright like do have any ideas what's in there? Asks Diana sounded very excited. Her Hyena is rather burly and she sits more leaned back the longer saddle allowing for the position.
"Besides a few surprises from Pilo doubt it is anything we can't handle," says which turns as all the leaders look at Pilo who can't shy away so he looks down. He is also not sure what Tau is talking about. Tau is hoping that his power sense is correct as Pilo like Zetu and Impi and most of the black have a weird sparkle to their power which started soon after the boss battle. Tau had not been able to spot it before but now that he knew what to look for it was easy to make out. The effect is especially strong in Impi but Pilo also has it.
"Well if they are as monsters here are as docile as the ones we have been coming across then it should be fine," says Palesa. Tau slows down and turning he did forget one thing. They have past several groups of small monsters that scruffy about their day. The one that could have been a fight only followed to a tree then turned as soon as they pasted it.
"The monsters here are not at all docile, according to the map, this floors creautres are extremely territorial." Says Tau. The map even shows the kind of monster that lives at the foot his of the mountain. It is also why he saved thirty of those carrying bags. Gemsbok would be great pack animals so he is a excited for that. Plus he can have thirty of them just like how Jades which he will hand off to other gobo's.
"Meaning what exactly?"asks Palesa she is really enjoying the open plains and scenic route the mountain that Tau pointed at has its peak barely above the clouds with white tip barely visible. Pilo moves forward as Tau is signaling him.
"You will be in front of all our fights with and we will support you Pilo." The obvious and evil though darts through Pilo's mind. , as Tau tell him the plan. They are all going to fight the gemsbok and capture them a ps they go. Tau would have preferred to catch only the biggest and strongest but that is solved already thanks to the hyenas plus with the cool down on the spell he is going to less selective.
The herd they come upon first is only about twenty strong the alpha is spotted by tau, it seems that the the gemsbok do have some mana ability as he can see the white power around it resting at two thousand.
