I starred at him blankly i didn't know what to say the only thing on my mind was to run away. so i let go of his hand and ran out i just kept running it was now dark and the cold breeze swept against my skin sending chills to my whole body.
I kept on running as fast as i could till i saw a taxi. I hailed it, and headed straight home. I kept tossing and turning all through the night. I couldn't sleep i replayed it all in my head countless time's. I wasn't good enough for Jinyoung. The only thing i had going for me was the fake promotion lie. Now i'm just nothing but a plaything his mum was right. She desperately tried to stop thinking and forced herself to sleep.
The next morning Kyrah woke up, it was awfully sunny as the sunlight creeped from the window and was casted upon her face which brought her to full consciousness. She reached for her glasses by her bedside turned around and put it on. It was a saturday she felt like everything in her life had been going to fast she needed a breather. She got up and grabbed her sneakers from underneath her bed and after brushing her teeth, she decided to go out for a quick jog she went out the front door ready to leave, but at that moment her eye's were drawn to a tall figure heading her way it was Jinyoung. She knew he wanted to talk. Yes after what happened last night they both needed a good talk but looking beside Jinyoung, Kyrah could see a pair of perfectly straight legs leading to a pair of red bottoms which glistened in the sun.

Kyrah took of her glasses and put it back on. She couldn't believe her eye's. How could they come to her house, and together? how could he bring her here, really/ Kyrah stood straight and braced herself. She had gathered all the courage in her as she asked calmy. Why are you here? she asked Jinyoung in a somewhat calm tone. at that moment Mi Rae sized her up and down from her forehead down to her toes in a demeaning way as she looked over to Jinyoung and asked. is this her?
Of course Mi Rae already knew who Kyrah was because they had all met at campus once and then again two years ago for a college reunion party. at this moment, Kyrah felt powerless in the presence of these two. Suddenly Mi Rae turned towards her oh, my bad , you're the plaything Jinyoung's mum talked about. I couldn't take it anymore the humilliation. She just called me Jinyoung's plaything. i felt so low. And he was right there. he just stood there like he was lifeless.
As tears rolled down Kyrah's cheeks despite her inherent decision to not shed a tear. It was out of her hands now. she brushed against Mi Rae's shoulder slightly pushing her aside as she stood in front of Jinyoung and asked him in tears why aren't you saying anything? you said you love me. hhe said between sobs so.... why would you let this woman say these things about me. She held unto his hands cupping it with both her hands as if the was telling him not to let go with everything she had. She looked up to him while urging him. Say something, but the look in his eye's had changed he looked annoyed as he forcefully pulled his hands out of her's which sent her flying and landing face down to the ground she couldn't believe that was the same man who believed in her the same man who said he loved her. she desperately wanted someone to tell her it was all a lie.
She got up from her front porch where she had fallen and i looked him straight in the eye as she trashed the little pride she had left in her while holding on to his suit sleeve she said in a soft voice."Please don't get married". all this time Kyrah felt that meeting Jinyoung was the best thing that could happen to her she still felt that way . But, Jinyoung just stared at her without saying a thing. She had brains so she could comprehend the situation Jinyoung grabbed hold of Mi Rae as he walked away from her . just like she was disgusting to look at.
Just looking at their images from behind made her leg's weak and they gave way as her knees dropped to the ground she was completely devastated what had she gotten herself into, Her love was never two sided it was always one sided . she wondered if she was ahead of herself, was it completely over before they could start anything? she was in complete denial of the reality set before her as she stood speechless.
