And just like that two months went by....
but from the looks of things Kyrah did not for a day loose hope in Jinyoung she kept on trying to call him since the incident with him and Mi Rae at her front porch but he wouldn't pick up her call's she sent messages and even paid him visit's to his office but she was never allowed to see him.
She kept on trying all she could because Jinyoung wasn't just someone she loved he was a friend to her too, as she had no friends or family to rely on, he's always been there for her. Her dad didn't even know what was going on in her life or even cared to know and she never wanted to talk to him about her problems. But she could talk to Jinyoung and he always listened and helped her out , so she didn't believe he was acting on his own volition maybe he had no choice because of his parents.
Her mind often drifted while she was at work the two months were terrifying enough for her she was sick and absent from work a lot of times which was unlike her. She kept having serious headaches even as she sat on her desk working she was so out of it.To the extent that even other's in the office could notice that she's been down.
Kyrah tried to pull herself together and handle her work at the office. It was a typical monday morning workday and it was hectic as usual she had a lot of files to go through, and documents to copy. Though she didn't feel too good she was trying to get through her work at her own pace but today was slightly different she was feeling really weak, and exhausted. It was unlike her. Her work, or even her external problems never got her down like that she was the strong type she didn't understand why she was so down all of a sudden. As she walked to the copy room her eye's were getting dizzy increasingly on every step she took she even fumbled with the documents she was holding that was the last thing she could remember.
And when she opened her eye's she was in the hospital an iv drip was connected to her arm and it stung when she tried to get up. Kyrah looked over the bed and it was Linda staring at her with pity writen all over her face. Of all people she didn't expect Linda to be with her in the hospital. Well she didn't hate Linda, she just got on her nerves. And Linda was really the only one in the office who treated her like she existed at least she talks to her.
You should take better care of yourself Linda said in a harsh tone if i didn't find you past out in the copy room and called the ambulance soon enough i don't know what could've happened. I never really had someone worry or care about me so it felt really good hearing Linda scold me and seeing the expression of care on her face. But you really should take better care of yourself Linda continued especially now that you're pregnant. pregnant? Kyrah said in shock.
"Me, pregnant"? Are you sure? Kyrah asked Linda.
Linda nodded, yes the doctor said you were pregnant earlier he said it's been "8 weeks" or so. Kyrah was speechless her face turned paler than it was before like all the life had been sucked out of her.
Linda had smilled but upon seeing Kyrah in utter surprise she asked in a soft voice such that seemed as though she was aware of the situation.
"What's wrong Kyrah"? she asked gently patting her shoulders .
"What's the matter"? Kyrah had no answers she just realized she was so busy with getting to talk to Jinyoung and straighten things out with him that she didn't even realize she had missed her period for two consecutive months. It all just came to her in a flash. The reckless night with Jinyoung. She crouched down on the bed covering her ear's with her palms and screamed which caught the attention of the doctors and nurses around and they came to her bedside trying to find out what was wrong but she wouldn't give any answer.
After some time had passed "she had fallen asleep" and Linda was beside her the whole time. What in the world happened to you to make you act out like this? Linda wondered.
Kyrah soon woke up from her sleep and found the doctor taking out the iv from her hands. He said you can handle your discharge formalities and you're free to go you fainted out of exhaustion there was nothing else wrong with you from the tests we ran on you, you and the baby are okay, but it seems you didn't know you were pregnant so you haven't been taking pregnancy vitamins you need to start doing that now i prescribed them so you can pick them up at the front desk and settle your bill.
At that moment Linda walked back in as the doctor was leaving her face was full of curiosity she wanted to know what was going on and at this point i was ready to open up to her because she was there for me and i needed someone to be there for me. She slowly walked over to my side reached out for my glasses on the shelf beside me and put it on me as she said so are you going to tell me what's going on?
There was no holding back for Kyrah she told Linda everything verbatim from the start to that moment. Linda was so mad as she asked, and you still haven't seen him? You see Linda wasn't one to be dealt with she never let anyone take advantage of her and she was confident in everything she did no matter what maybe it was because my actions went against her personality but she was so dissapointed and felt so sad for me at the same time.
"So how are you going to tell him about the pregnancy"? she asked without hesitation . Kyrah didn't give an answer as she was lost in thought. This isn't the time to hesitate Linda snapped you need to get up i'll drop you off at your house tonight so you can get a good rest you need to go to his company and tell him tomorrow. What his company? i went there countless times and i wasn't even allowed to meet him. No Linda said affirmatively this time you wait till you meet him he can't run away forever or can he?
We both walked to the front desk of the hospital and i signed my discharge documents and picked up the medications the treatments i recieved, tests, and drugs, all came to a whopping sum of 10,000 KRW i cautiously looked into my purse and i only had 2000 KRW my bus card and two credit cards i knew i had to split the payments and do installments over some months so i don't get a hole in my heart when i see my credit card bill later on.
But just as i was about to reach out my card for payment linda handed in her's for a one off payment i was so grateful and happy at the same time i kept thanking her until she became irritated and yelled at me "okay, stop"! okay i get it you're grateful she did have a bit of a nasty personality but she was loyal at least from what i saw today. We got into the elevator to the basement floor where the parking lot was located Linda's car was the first we could see after getting off the elevator she had a red five seater kia seltos we both got into the car and she asked me for my house address as she typed it in on the car navigation system.
The ride was quiet for a while till Linda grabbed Kyrah's hand with her left hand and said....
You really need to pull yourself together be strong for you and your baby and tell him tomorrow even if he doesn't want to see you till the end put up with it no matter what.
Hearing those words from Linda Kyrah couldn't help but shed tears there's definitely something about comforting words that flood up the tear glands that's exactly how Kyrah felt at that moment.
She soon arrived at Kyrah's home thanks for everything Linda Kyrah said, as she was about getting off the car then she got off. Linda just nodded waved her goodbye and drove off Kyrah got into the house and her dad wasn't home as usual she had dinner took her meds had a cold bath and then she lay in bed she was so nervous about tomorrow would Jinyoung act differently if he knew i was carrying his child?
________The next morning_______
Kyrah woke up as early as the break of dawn going through her clothes to find something to wear she wanted to look as presentable as she could. She picked out the red silk dress the same one he bought her before taking her to his house she paired it with black heeled slippers and a black bag she put on her glasses as she looked into the mirror and was contented and happy with the way she looked.

It was a fourty story building overlooking the Han river made of glass with the bold letters WC written at the top of the building which was in full Woolim Co-operations. Looking up at the building made her neck hurt. Arriving at Woolim co-operations she went straight to the receptionist and asked to see president Woo Jin as he was popularly called in the company Jinyoung was the president of Woolim as his dad was still alive and the CEO.
The receptionist looked at me in a weird way. Then she asked me... do you have a prior appointment please? she knew me i had been there several times and of course just like the other times i didn't have a prior appointment. Just as i was about to speak i saw i saw Jinyoung and Jang Mi Rae walking towards my direction with a few other people who were well suited up and professional i didn't want to make a scene since they were people around. I just wanted to talk to him in private so i called out to him. Jinyoung... in a low tone. then he looked around scanning the lobby as though he was looking for who called out to him but when my eye's met his he just acted like he didn't see me like i was invincibe .
At this point i wasn't ready to loose this oppurtunity so i chased after them just as they were about to exit the building entrance i stood before him. Jinyoung we really need to talk i said as i tried to catch my breath. You really had the gut's coming here again Jang Mi Rae said. I snapped at this point i'd had enough. I wasn't talking to you i said while sizing her up. I was talking to you Jinyoung we..... need.... to.... talk he kept on looking upward the whole time he didn't even spare me a glance at this point people had started gathering around.
In an effort to tone things down Kyrah reached out for Jinyoung's right hand which was in his pocket, and was about to hold him when she felt a burning sensation on her cheeks as she was slapped hard in the face by Mi Rae. What the hell is your problem you stalker? i looked up to her as i held my cheek in my right palm. what? stalker? i once again looked at Jinyoung and he didn't as much as utter a single word he just stood there with his hands in his pocket. Tears rolled down both my eye's but it wasn't because i was slapped by Mi Rae, definitely not. But it was because i still expected something from Jinyoung maybe a little sympathy and humanity.
Someone call security! Mi Rae screamed angrily as she turned to the receptionist. The next thing i knew i was in tears getting dragged away by security.
And the first and only thing i heard Jinyoung say was...."she's crazy."
