"Kakaadoodle! Sleeping ugly." Laura yells as she bangs on George's bed.
George jumps out from his bed awed and fell over on the floor giving out a loud thud. "Why would you do that?"
"At least, as a payback for calling me a slug every morning." Laura snaps.
George hissed, his eyes were still clouded with sleep and he wasn't willing to get up yet. He climbs upon his bed and lay flat on his back showing of his shots and bare body.
Laura held his ankles and draged him down, he groans in pain. "That makes us even."
George groans more.
Laura left for the kitchen. She was so excited today, because it happens to be the first time in months since she had a good sleep, and she couldn't take her mind of Lucifer either, she had seen him the previous day and today she had the best sleep in her life. "Ironic and weird." She thought.
A part of her body wanted to meet Lucifer again, to spend more time with him even if it was the last thing she does while another part of her scolded her seriously saying, the devil is a dangerous man and no one should have anything to do with him. "Truly," she thought."He could be indeed a dangerous man," she could sense the dark aura that emitted from him, the look in his eyes. But this doesn't seem to scare her either, something about him draws her to him, she just couldn't place a finger on it.
Laura trips, she almost fell down flat on her face but she was quick to hold herself in a push up stance, she got up not wanting George or anyone to meet her that way, she raised her head and saw the door to Raven's room. A sinister smile traced itself to her lips.
She tiptoed to his door with the intention of doing her Kakaadoodle! on him, she opens his door slowly and as gently as possible, she tiptoes to were he laid.
"Save your breath Laura, I don't sleep like humans." Raven's voice echoes from behind her.
Laura lost her balance due to the shock his voice sent through her spine, she fell on his bed, the scent of honey and cinnamon invaded her senses, she didn't want to get of the bed again. It felt so comfortable, she never knew a bed could be this comfortable.
She sits up not wanting Raven to notice how she felt about his bed, but he wasn't paying attention to her either, he just finished having his bath his body still wet and with a white towel tight across his waist so low that it revealed his V-lining.
Raven didn't mind Laura's presence in his room, he was totally okay with it, at least he was so sure Laura wasn't the kind of girl to droll on him, and even though she once kissed him, he knew Laura wasn't into him, it was more like a protective kiss, when he asked her why she didn't have a boyfriend like the rest of her friends or like George who had a girlfriend.
She said having a boyfriend isn't something she felt like doing now and that each time she tried to have a boyfriend or a boy ask her out, she felt like she was cheating on someone and that she belongs to someone else, maybe someone she haven't meant in her life.
Raven liked her, although being the first female and the first human he had met which was more reason to like her, he found other reasons to like her even more.
"How do you know what I was gonna do?" Laura disrupts his thought.
"I overheard you and George and I know you might wanna try it on me." He shrugs.
Laura gaze at his bare body and hair which were still wet, she smiles as a thought flew through her mind.
"I hope Ashley meets you like this someday." She blurted out.
Raven stares at Laura to know, where the conversation was leading to.
"No she won't." He said calmly.
"Why?"
"Because , I will make sure she doesn't." He said.
"Hmm,benefits of being an angel. Right?" Laura inquires.
Raven growls.
"Ashley isn't bad at all." Laura teases.
"Does she always behave like that?" Raven asks.
"When she sees what she wants? Yes." Laura said Bluntly.
Raven glares at her not wanting to understand what she meant.
"I don't know what to say." He said as he wore his pants.
"You like Kara. Don't you?"
"No, we are just friends." He snaps.
"Friends?!" Laura said mockingly.
Raven glares at her, he couldn't read her minds but her eyes always seem to express her emotions or whatever she meant.
"Laura, it's a bit complicated."
"For an angel himself." Laura tease.
"I don't want to talk about this." He snapped, not wanting to talk about Kara.
"Ok,....ok. Laura gets up to leave his room." She got to the door.
"Raven, do you mind telling me more about Lucifer." She said on a second thought.
Raven's eyes widens. "Why?"
"Is there anything bad in wanting to know more about him?" She snapped.
"No , but since you humans nicknamed him, "Devil", "Satan" and many others to bad to mention, I doubt that anyone would have any interest in him." Raven concludes.
"Well , I can change that." Laura said.
Well? Raven stuttered. Lucifer wasn't a bad angel at all, infact he was God's favourite angel, he was gentle, kind, probably one of the best angels of all. The only flaw he had was being so obstinate but no one ever cared about that either.
"So you are saying, Lucifer wasn't so bad." Laura interrupts.
"No, he wasn't, and I feel so awful to know that this is what he has become." Raven stands up upset.
"Raven you shouldn't take it so personal, maybe we humans carved it up ourselves." Laura said trying to calm him down.
"That was what I thought. He said calmly. But he just doesn't care anymore, he didn't even care to find me, he should have known I am on Earth now but he didn't care to find me." He spat.
Laura gulps. "I'm sorry Raven, were you two friends or brothers?"
"No, closer. I think we should leave that we are running late." He said temperamentally.
Laura could sense his anger, she haven't seen him like this before and she hope she doesn't see him like that again. She felt the temperature of the room increase, she was sweating but Raven didn't seem to be affected at all. The room grew so hot and was becoming so hot that she could bear it no more.
"Raven." She gasps.
Raven turns to her, he saw she was sweating profusely and her skin had turned red from the heat.
"I'm sorry Laura."
After saying this the heat in the room slowly comes down to normalcy.
"Raven." She said. "I don't know what you two had in common but, I don't want you to take it too personal."
He strolls to her, and touches her cheek.
"Laura! you are the best a sister could be." He said.
"Stop flattering Raven, there are others out there better than me." She said.
"If only you were right." He said and turns to his wardrobe.
Laura left him alone, when she got to the kitchen she saw George setting the table with Susan.
"Guess you are always a slug, you just can't deal with it." George spat.
Laura ignores him, and took her sit, Raven follows from behind and did the same.

Kara opens her locker to keep some of her stuffs, and also to collect some books she needed at the moment, she opens one of her numerous books and stares at it trying to find something.
Then a bright yellow light hits the book, she tries to ignore it but it shone brighter than ever she looks at the mirror of her locker which reflected the light she saw a human figure, which illuminated itself, it was so fiery and fiercely in nature.
She wanted to scream, but she restrained herself from that, she dropped her book as she pants for air, she turns around to see what it was and she saw Raven.
"Kara! are you okay." He asked curiously.
Kara gave a heavy sigh of relief. "Yes, I am."
She stares at the mirror again, the light was as bright as the sun which could blind someone, she wonders why only a small amount of light reflected from the mirror, she turns to Raven who still stares at her she turns to her mirror and the light figure was still there, as bright as ever.
"Um....." She stutter.
"Are you sure, you are okay?" Raven inquires as he picks her book from the ground and gave it to her.
"Yes." She said as she closes her locker.
"Good morning." She snaps.
"Morning." He responds.
They both stares at themselves for a while.
"I was wondering..." They both said in unison.
Kara cracks her throat."You first."
"No, you can say whatever it is, you want to say." Raven said.
"No I think you go first."
Raven stares at her in fascination.
"Ladies first." He teased.
"Um... She stutters, I was wondering if __ Take this." She interrupts herself by handing an envelope over to Raven.
"What is this?" He inquires.
"You can find out yourself." She said bending her head as she felt her cheeks burn from blushing.
Raven stares at her, he still wonders why she always felt that way around him. He smirks as he opens the envelope.
"Um... Dinner?!"
"Yes, tonight maybe we could chat and get to know one another." She said.
"Is that like a..... A date." Raven inquires.
"Um .... Yes, maybe." She answered looking at him pleadingly hoping he doesn't reject the offer.
"At the theater....?" He ask.
Oh my God why was he putting her on suspense, couldn't he just say Yes.
"Yes, expenses on me." She snaps.
"Do you really want to do this?" Raven asks.
"Yes, I do." She snaps still wearing a pleading look.
"Ok, I'll come." He said.
"Would you, I am so excited." She said amidst excitement.
"Of course, anything for you." He teases.
Kara stares at him.
"Ok , I think I will have to leave you to sort your stuff or whatever you're doing." Raven said trying in vain to conceal his excitement.
He turns to leave.
"Raven, you were about saying something." She reminds him.
"Um ....yes, but since you said it already, it's vain coming from me again." He said.
"You wanted to ask me out." She inquires.
Raven nods his head. "Sort of."
"Hm..." She hums.
"Why did you ask me out first." He asks.
"Um .... Because you like me, and you feel reluctant to do so." She stutter.
"Like?!" Raven smirks.
"I know you do Raven, it's written all over you and you just can't say it or even control it" She snaps.
Raven opens his mouth to say something, but nothing came out.
"Ok, I will be there." He said.
"Don't be late." She teases.
"I am never late." He smirks as he left.
He was so happy Kara felt the same way he felt to her, he never imagined it would be that easy. For the past one month he had hanged out with her and he can't help but like her more each day he sees her. Although it was hard at first since she never wanted to be with him or talk to him because she felt so nervous, he still couldn't hold himself from wanting to be with her and sometimes invading her privacy completely unaware.
Kara stares at him, smiles, then she remembers she was doing something before he came along. "The light!" Her mind drifted to it. "What could it be." She thought.
She opens her locker, but the light was no more.
Weird! She mutters to herself.
