"Look at you, you've grown so big." Raven pats Whorus on the head.
Whorus shakes Raven's hand of his head, whines he beats his wings and thump it's left forelimb.
Raven smirks understanding what he meant. "You are angry with me?"
Whorus nods.
"I'm sorry I left heaven without you, I didn't want to drag you into any mess. I hope you understand that?" Raven explains.
Whorus turns his face away from Raven.
"Come on Whorus, be a good boy. You can't go on like this forever." Raven held Whorus huge face with his arms turning his face to him. "Look at me Whorus."
Whorus licks Raven's face.
" Eew.... What have you been eating?" Raven turn his salivary face away. "Are you okay now?"
Whorus tries to lick him again.
"No, don't do that." Raven tries to turns his face away but not without Whorus licking him again at first strike. "Oh, you did it again."
Raven buries his hand in Whorus white fur. "I haven't seen my father Whorus. It seems like he doesn't care either." Raven continues caressing Whorus fur. "If he actually did care, he should have come looking for me, I mean I have no idea were hell is now."
"Whorus, How is 'All father' ? He's okay. Isn't he? He always is. He might not be too happy with the decisions I've made, but it's my life. I don't want anyone to control my life for me. Lucifer understood this, but I'm not in support of him rebelling against God either. All father could have granted him his wish if only he asked. Don't you think so?"
Whorus snorts sniffing Raven's hair.
"Let's get out of here before someone sees us." Raven warns.
Whorus lay down flat.
"What are you doing?" Raven blurted out in a whisper. He opens his eyes realizing something. "You want me to ride on you?" He smirks.
Whorus glares at him.
"I'm not a kid anymore, I can carry my own weight." Raven said amused.
Whorus didn't seem to yield, instead it wags his tail.
"Ok, I will if you say so." Raven jumps upon Whorus back.
Whorus flaps his wings once and they were off in the skies amongst the clouds. This surprised Raven, Whorus had just flew like he had nothing on his back.
Raven looks down at the city. "Whoa! Earth really do have a great view. Can you see that?" He pats Whorus's head. "I miss you 'old friend'."
After a few more minutes of flying around town, Whorus took both of them to the woods, where no one would likely see them.
Whorus lays down flat and Raven steps down from his back. "I never knew you could have muster so much strength all this years. Guess I'm always wrong about you."
Whorus wags it's tail staring at Raven.
Raven smiles at him. "What amuses you?"
Whorus stood up and licks Raven this time Raven didn't try to stop him. He pushed Raven down to the ground sniffing and licking.
"O.....Eew...Who....o....r....u...sss! Raven stutters.
Whorus let's go of him.
Raven pants for air."I miss you too old buddy."
"On a second thought Whorus, 'Do you think I should find my dad, I mean if All Father stopped me from seeing him, shouldn't it remain that way."
Whorus nods.
" I think you have a point, 'Time Passes.' so what All Father wanted years ago might not be the same. "But we are not talking about my dad now Whorus."
Raven sat on the bare ground and with his angelic powers sets up a camp fire.
Raven sighs. "Did you see her Whorus? Isn't she beautiful. I came to earth and I found a new family and also I fell in love. All Father might not be so please with that, but dad says we should always follow our hearts and do whatever it is that we truly desire. Sounds comforting. Well I think I desire Kara, I can think of nothing else besides her" Raven concludes.
" Whorus, you can't stay here with me. You need to go back to heaven, I will stay back on Earth. I am not willing to live like an angel anymore, I am not eager to take up some angelic responsibilities now."
Whorus whines, thumps his feet and beats his wings in disapproval.
"What do you mean no? I can't have you on Earth and you can't go on walking like this, you could scare people."
Whorus groans, then turns itself into a beagle.
"Oh.....! That's okay. but I don't want you getting into any mischief, not even as a dog."
Whorus whines, then sniffs Raven's shoes.
Ow...so cute. He thought. "You might have gone through a lot trying to find me." He grins.
Whorus raises his head and stares at Raven.
"You are staying on one condition, you will continue to be a regular dog, I mean Earthly dog. Do you understand?" Raven said.
Whorus glares at him.
Raven carries him on his laps and pat him. "You are not so bad as a dog." He assures. "The sun is rising now, it's been a long night. I will take you to your new home."Β He grins. "I hope Laura likes dogs."

George and Laura sets the dishes on the dinning with Susan who seem to be busy in the kitchen. Susan enters and looks around searching for something.
"Where is Raven?" Susan asked.
George shrugs.
"He doesn't sleep this long. Is something wrong with him or something?" Susan asks with a worried look.
George and Laura glances at each other.
"I think I will go check on him." Laura dashes out of the dinning room.
Susan stares at George, who shrugs feeling so uncomfortable with her stare. "Do you know something and you are not telling me?"
"Umh...." He uttered with a sweat dripping down his temple.
" He isn't in his room" Laura voice interrupts.
"Where else could he possibly be right now?" Susan inquires.
"Am I late from breakfast?" Raven's voice intrudes making them turn to the direction of the door.
Laura eyes him.
"Hey, what's the big deal?" He queries.
"Where have you been? We've been searching for you." Laura asks.
" Don't mention that Laura you and George knew when I left last night." Raven snaps.
" Last night?!" Susan exclaims glaring at the trios questioningly.
"I wasn't expecting he would stay till Dawn before he comes back." George defends.
"Uhm...Mom__ Laura tries to explain but is interrupted by a sharp hush from Susan.
"Shhhh." Susan cross her index finger on her lips. "What have you three been up to? And why are you looking so good?" She asks referring to Raven's dressings.
"He went on a date." George snaps, but this only attract a glare from Laura who eyes him spontaneously.
"Date?!" Susan gasps, brightening up.
"Y...yes." Raven stutters.
Laura glares at George Even more.
"What? I didn't do anything wrong." He defends feeling uncomfortable by Laura's unending glares.
Susan ignores them. "Why didn't you you tell me?, I mean what's she like? She must be really beautiful."
"After an exhausting day at work you were already on bed. And beautiful, yes she is." Raven took time to answer each questions.
Raven stares at Laura for the first time, he was amaze by her beauty and how her skin glows this morning. There was something about her that he couldn't place his fingers on, with each passing day Laura seem to glimmer with more radiant beauty, her eyes blue increases making them so hypnotizing, what ever it was Raven could tell she was kinda evolving into something.
"Hi!" He said.
"What's her name?" Susan intrudes curiously.
"Kara Haley." Raven said calmly still examining Laura.
"You mean General Haley's daughter?" Susan inquires.
Raven snaps out of staring at Laura. "Do everyone have to react this way?"
"I told you Raven, he is a badass General. A real 'b.....aaad...d a...sss general'." George said ensuring he drew the words badass.
"Shut up!" Laura and Susan snaps.
"What, I was just letting him know to take precautions." George defends.
Laura corner eyes him. "Don't worry Raven, you don't have to listen to George, Kara isn't bad and her dad is okay. He's just being overprotective and besides Kara doesn't live with her dad presently."
" You don't need to__" A dog barks interrupting Susan.
" You brought a stray dog in?" She queries.
George strolls over squats and pat dog on his head. "Mom, can we keep him he's so cute."
"No!, no dogs in this house." Susan snaps.
"Actually, he's not a dog." Raven stated.
Laura glances at him. " What do you mean not a dog?, look at him he is beagle. A really cute one I admit."
"He is my hound." Raven blurted out.
Hearing this George jumps from were the dog lay, he stumbled but Laura was quick to hold him and he shields himself behind her. "You mean, like a 'hell hound'? He asks frightened.
Raven laughs at his reaction, he really was a big baby, he thought. "Heaven's hound." He corrected.
"Kinda cool, but I'm freaked out right now." Laura said.
"I think he came looking for me. He has refused to go back to heaven, but with time_" Raven sighs. " I won't let him stay on Earth for so long, at least for his safety. But I promise to let him stay if he doesn't takes his true form but it won't be long, at least maybe he could have fun disguise as a dog."
Whorus whines attracting Raven's stare. "Don't look at me that way." He snaps.
"Did you just talked to it?" Laura gasps amused.
"Yes, we understand each other." Raven stated. "George come out he doesn't bite."
George felt embarrass that he had took refuge behind Laura, his sister who in the normal sense he was supposed to protect.
George reluctantly strolls to where Whorus lay, and pats his head again. "What's his name?"
"Whorus." Raven snaps.
"Mom, can we keep him, not bad having a smart dog around." George pleaded.
Um....Susan stutters.
Pleeaasse... George pleaded.
"As long as Laura is okay with it." She stated.
George gave Laura a wry look.
"Ok, as long as he doesn't poop or pee on my bed." She said.
Raven scoffs. "WhorusΒ doesn't do that." Raven assures.
"Whatever, I'm famish." Laura draws out a chair and sat down.
Everyone did the same.
"Mom, can we give Whorus some food." George asks.
"No honey, there isn't enough left for him." Susan stares at Whorus who was still glaring at Raven. "We will get him some doggy supplies later."
