"You have summoned us, Master?" Chib asked as she stood beside her beast, Beril. Estrel soon walked out of the shadows of the gate, standing beside the two.
"Chaos has killed two of our kind. I want you two to search the tower and find him." He spoke with a slight trace of anger in his voice.
Estrel smiled as if he knew where he was going. "Master…. I think it's time to test our new brother and sister."
Beril starts to patrol the top of the tower, Chib walks over to Estrel and stands in front of him, no taller than his chest. "You don't think he's after your brother and Nendereth, do you?"
"No. He's after Fenrir…" He turns to the gate, part of him still cared about his brother but there was more to this. "I know Leo purged Fenrir of any traces of Chaos, but during the council, I could sense traces of him in Fenrir."
The Master turns around and begins to walk away from the tower. "I have tasked you two with this mission. Find Chaos before he finds Fin." He disappears into a light, leaving the tower occupants once more.
"Beril, find Fenrir…" She sighed then shook her head. "Find Fin and Dogma." The reptilian like direwolf jumps up and takes off into the gate, followed by Estrel.
Deep inside the Tower:
Fin and Dogma both were walking down the halls getting familiar with the tower before their departure. Zero walked beside his sister, his only sister whom he looked up to.
"I should've joined you two." His large wolf head looked down as he trots beside them. His gaze on the marble floor.
"Zero… You have been through far more than either of us." Dogma placed her hand on his shoulder and stopped. "I could not ask you, my younger brother, to do this. We were already immortal, but this is in a way, a curse."
Fin stopped in the middle of the hall and kept his eyes forward. "I will not ask you to bear this burden Zero… I need some body to watch over Nieo when we… No… When I can't." Fin turns around to the siblings." I don't know if you two sensed, but during our naming, I sensed a large aura of murderous intent somewhere within the tower."
The three stood in silence for what felt like hours but was only minutes. "I knew there was something special about you Fin…"
Behind Fin stood Estrel with Chib and Beril walking up behind "You we're able to sense Chaos killing an Elder and his son from the top of the tower. Impressive."
Chin said nothing but was clearly impressed. "I think I know why he's after him now." Zero and Dogma couldn't see it nor feel it, but Fin's aura was visible to the two elders. His original red aura had been surrounded by large amounts aura from his new powers. "Not even you, Estrel, bad that much when you gained the seat of Elder.
As they spoke casually Chaos hid himself in the shadows of the hall. Watching as his prey but waiting for an opening. He knew that if he attacked now, he would be overwhelmed and due to being in the shadows his hearing has been nullified.
"You noticed him didn't you, Estrel?" Fin asked as he kept his eyes on the two Elders. Chaos' aura was hidden among the shadows but his bloodlust was what gave him away.
"I did. That amount of bloodlust could kill the lower level beings." He replied. Dogma and Chib both almost looked clueless but eventually figured out what the two were speaking of. "If either of us fight him inside the tower, there will be repercussions and I don't think you want to lose your opportunity to prove yourself. Am I right?" The Elder smirked but seemed to annoy Fin.
Chib rolled her pale white eyes while her beast, Beril, patrolled the hallway still sniffing. "I assume you're going to ask for me to transport all of us outside the tower?"
"Look at you. You know me to well, Chib." Estrel crossed his arms but kept his eyes on Fin. "I want to see what this one is capable of now that he's one of us."
Chib shakes her head "Beril!" She called for the beasts name as he jumps to it, lumbering over toward his master. He walks over to her and bumps his large reptilian face against her shoulder until he feels her hand slowly caress his head.
"Now that we're all here…" but before Estrel could finish his sentence, Chib had already transported the group, including Chaos, to an open field miles away from the tower.
"I'm glad I take those morning strolls with Beril." She said while she scratched his head.
Chaos looked confused now that he was in the field surrounded by his enemies. "You guys new I was there the whole time…" Chaos was now wearing clothing he found in an empty room. His body was completely solid now.
"We did… You clearly gave yourself away… And I can still slightly sense you since that day…." Fin turned to him, his fists clenched. The sky above him began to grow dark, the air slowly beginning to freeze. Dogma could see the breath from the others and walks over to them, heat surrounding the two elders and Beril.
"I see you have some new powers too." Chaos comments while he begins to circle him. Not a word came from Fin as his eyes were trained on Chaos. He could feel his nails begin to grow and dig into his palms.
While the two were getting ready for a fight, Dogma continued to warm the two Elders. "Aren't you worried about Fin?" Chib watches but was clearly asking Dogma.
"I've seen what he is capable of." She replies back. "I would be more worried about Chaos." Dogma continues to watch the events about to unfold.
