I get up at four in the morning. I feel rested but still a little light headed. I clean up then I find the lists Cassie and I made last night. I call Jill and Karen to put in the new canning orders. They get excited and ask if I can make them some to. I gladly agree. They say they will have the order ready by eight and they will even bring it out for me. I tell them I will see them later then I make breakfast. I decide on steak, eggs, and potatoes for breakfast. After I eat I do feel better. Once I see it's six a.m. I head over to the pack house.
When I go to the kitchen I deposit my books on the counter and give Cassie a hug.
"How do you feel this morning Luna?"
"Still a bit off but not like yesterday. Mike should be here soon with the new vitamins. So I put in the canning order in and it will be here by eight this morning. The girls are even bringing it out."
"That's great, I can't wait to see them it's been so long."
"I was thinking about something this morning. Have you ever made no bake cookies?"
"No I have never heard of them."
"Okay I think we will pass on those then. I was trying to add onto Mike list of snack jars. I ordered ten dozen jars just for this. I got thirty dozen jars for the soups and stews. What are your thoughts?"
"First Luna I have to say I really appreciate how you ask what I think instead of just dictating it. Second I'm not sure if that will be enough."
"Well you are older than me. Your profession is as a cook. You know what and how much this pack eats so I will accept any advice you want to give me. And how much more do you think we need?"
"This is what makes you a good Luna."
"Thank you Cassie I appreciate that. So what do you think we should add?"
Just then Mike comes in with a bottle.
"Good morning Luna, good morning Cassie. I knew you would be here Luna so I brought your vitamins. I want you to take one now. That should help the dizziness."
"Mike I just want to thank you. Not only for the vitamins but the lists from yesterday. We will be doing more canning today so I will bring the next shipment over later for storage."
"Very good Luna. I will see you later. And if you have any issues let me know."
"Thank you Mike I will."
After that Mike went back to his clinic. Then I helped Cassie with breakfast. When we were done Steve came down. He comes over to me and wraps his arms around me, Then he kisses my mark. Before he can say anything his phone rings. He answers, They do a bit of talking then he hangs up. "Well that was the pastor, he called with an update. The vision you had came true. The elder called the cops and had him arrested. They are willing to believe you now. They say whatever you want done we are cleared to do. I will place the lumber orders today. We will get the houses built quickly. The elders want to thank you for the advance notice on all of it. Now how are you feeling today?"
"I feel much better. Mike brought the vitamins about twenty minutes ago. We are waiting on our next canning shipment. The girls are bringing it at eight. Then we can get started."
"So your telling me they will be here in fifteen minutes?"
"Yep that's what they told me, so that's what I'm telling you."
"Okay I have to get to work. Remember any issues call me okay."
"Yes Alpha, we will. Have a good day."
Then he kisses me and goes back to his office.
Sure enough by 8:15 a.m. the girls pull into the clearing in front of the pack house. Cassie let's Steve know they are here. Several Omegas help unload the truck while Cassie and I hug the girls. Jill is so happy to see everyone and Karen is quiet. I ask Karen what's wrong when I get a flash. I smile at Karen and tell her,"not to worry Jill will say yes. But you won't be leaving after the ceremony you will be here for your honeymoon."
"I can handle that. I just want to marry her. Besides with all the money you have been throwing our way we can retire tomorrow."
"Well please wait till October then you can retire. I will fund it all. We are in for a very bad winter so you will have to shut down the store till January. The wedding will be beautiful but your stuck here. After you propose let us know. We can celebrate by having a BBQ. I will do my marinated beef for you."
"That would be awesome, Jill was talking about that the other night. Can you get her parents and mine to come to the pack house? I want them to see it."
"Hang on I haven't gotten that far in the Luna job I will have Steve request they come to the pack house and you can go from there."
"Thank you, you have always been a good friend. Now you will be a great Luna. I will help unload while you talk to the Alpha."
I shake my head then run inside the pack house. Almost right away I run into Steve,"Oh good listen the girls are here and Karen would like you to call both sets of parents to the pack house."
"Is something wrong?"
"No honey please just ask both sets of parents to the pack house. Karen has a very important question and would like them here."
Steve smiles and sends out the call. Ten minutes later the parent come to the pack house. Karen's father walks in and says," Its about time we get some fresh meat in here."
Everyone starts laughing and the girls go hug their parents. Then Karen steps forward and says," Jill since everyone who is important to us is here I wanted to ask, Will you marry me?"
After a moment of shock and some tears Jill says," I would love to. But you know I want a winter wedding can we handle that?"
"Sweetheart I have it from a good source the wedding will be beautiful but we are having a home honeymoon."
The girls start laughing and we start talking about celebrating. Cassie and I put our canning things aside to trow them an engagement party. We do like we did the first time. Everyone brings a salad or some other side and Cassie and I do the meat. Steve has the guys pull out the grills. I even make them a cake. The whole day was a success. At the end of the day I send the girls back to the shop with another list of meat and things. They both give me a hug and before they leave they ask me to make their wedding cake. I agree to do it and give them both hugs. Then they say the next shipment will be ready the day after tomorrow. Then they head out.
Steve comes over to me," I am so proud of you. Karen told me about the talk you had with her this morning. I want to have your Luna Ceremony On Friday. We will have plenty of food, and the pastor will officially make you the Luna."
"I would love that. Once I am the Luna I will be able to speak to everyone right?"
"Yes sweetheart once your are bound to the pack as their Luna you will be able to talk to all of them."
" Great let's do it."
Then he kisses me and goes to his office to get things arranged. Then Cassie and I do same canning. We do six cases of soups before we turn in for the night.
