When we get upstairs I change out of the dress then slip into one of Steve's t-shirts. Luckily it covers my butt but just barely. I wash my face and pull my hair out of bun Steve's mom put it in. I kiss Steve once then Almost as soon as my head it's the pillow I am asleep.
At about 11:39 we hear banging. We get out of bed and go downstairs. Standing in the middle of the room are those men with Summer and William in the middle of the circle. William is on the floor no chair nothing to help him. Summer is doing her best to hold him up. Elder Wilson steps forward as I rush down to my brother. I pray to the goddess that the baby will remain okay. And that I do this right because I'm a bit lost. When I realize everyone is behind me on the stairs I do it.
"Why are you doing this? What did I ever do to you? I am the Luna of this pack you can not take me against my will. You will not hurt my pack and family to get me to submit."
"Luna I want to know what else you can do. I have many enemy's and you will help me stop them."
"Your not going to make me your slave that's not going to happen. As the elder I can do as I want you will work for me. Come with me now and I will let you brother and his slut go."
William starts growling and in the next second he shifts. Williams starts going after the elder. I step in front of the elder, "As the Luna of this pack and the heir to the Misty Kingdom I command you to stop."
When I finish the statement my wings come out. The seven in the circle drop to their knees with their heads bowed. Steve and elder Anderson come down the stairs as Steve puts his hand on my arm I look at them. All three see that my eyes are blue. While Steve is trying to get me to calm down the rest of the group comes downstairs. We all listen in as the elders are talking.
"Wilson your a fool she is the heir. You see it as plainly as I do. Did you really think you could take a Luna against her will. And attacking her brother and his wife. Not only is it wrong in their culture but it is in ours as well.They have the legal right to put you to death. You had better beg for your life."
I finally calm down enough to have my eyes go back to normal but I can't get the wings to go away.
"Goddess what do I do now? How do they go back. The seven on the floor don't have their wings out."
"Because my child only royalty has wings. You did well we are all proud of you. I'm sorry to all of you but it had to happen this way. You should know because of the great war your kingdom was destroyed. William you can come back. Wilson you will come with me. Elder Anderson You will become this packs personal Elder. You know about upcoming events so you get to choose when to come out."
She touches William's nose and he turns back to himself. She touches my forehead and the wings go back. To the seven on the floor she says," You will be her personal guard. You will teach them both to use their gifts. If you don't want the job tell me now."
I look at the Goddess and tell her. "The one in the back, he won't work. He only wants to hurt Summer."
She lifts an eyebrow at me and steps up to him. She touches his forehead and sees everything in his mind. Then she does the same to the others In a flash of light only four remain. Two men and two women. She assigns one of each to both William and I.
She steps back up to me and rests a hand on my stomach. "Good very good. I knew you would be able to do it. My grandchild will be fine."
Everyone in the room says"What!"
She looks at everyone and says," oooops! That's a story for another day. Take care of each other."
Then she grabs Wilson by the arm and they vanish. We look at each other then the others come over and help William up. The beta gets into a room next to the kitchen,"We know it's a day early but happy birthday bro. It's from me and the guys. We like your chair but we had one made for all terrains. We hope you like it."
"It's great guys thanks. We were not givin a chance to get anything."
"Hey I didn't know you were pregnant. Sorry Summer we just found out ourselves. With the ceremony and then you two getting married we didn't have time to tell anyone. Now I'm beat I need sleep. Good night guys."
"But before we go to bed. What did she mean by her grandchild?"
"That I have no answer to. When I know I promise I will let you know. Steve can you get these four situated please."
"Yes my love."
After he helps me into bed he goes back and gets them set up for the night. Then he comes back to me and gets into bed. Then he wraps his arms around me and we go to sleep.
