< Log - Documented Results for subject ' Goblin 1A. >
The following will be a compiled version of the traits found in Goblins.
[ Adult ]
Goblin Height Variations: 3'4'' - 4'0''
Goblin Weight Variations: 50lbs - 125lbs
Their skin is greasy and very thin, light weaponry can easily tear their skin... it is also flammable.
Their bones are more similar to that of rats and other small rodent creatures, they are small and thin making them easily breakable. In combination with their relatively small body mass and structure of their organs, it is possible for a Goblin to squeeze through any space their head can fit through.
Their weaponry is crude and reminiscent of early stone age tools and their ' clothing ' is torn fabrics of various means dyed brown in mud, they lack any meaningful knowledge on how to wield a weapon and seem to prefer to flail it at a target.
Their ears and noses are quite large for a humanoid creature, they are very sensitive in both meanings... they seem to have a heightened sense of smell and hearing respectively, but their eye sight seems to be lacking in most regards.
Despite dedicating 2 Drones to actively attempt to translate the hoarse mixture of grunts and moans that make up ' Goblin Speak ', it was deemed impossible as data suggests it is either a constantly changing dialect made up of roots so heavily ground into nothing making it impossible to translate or they don't have a language at all and rather speak gibberish.
Subject Goblin 1A has been hostile to any movement, this suggests they have a very limited sentience and almost seem to be animalistic in nature due to their lack of active adaptation through learning.
Subject has been terminated as it has been deemed ill-fit for survival in a human society.

After having Vulcan disinfect the unconscious lady and preparing a medical bay for her, Lua began cleaning and preparing surgery tools needed to treat the wound.
She could use more modern technology, but she opted to manually preform the procedure as she finally had the opportunity to test out her medical skills, after 88 thousand years of study of basically everything related to biology and engineering, suffice to say she was desperate to finally be able to use her knowledge.
With sanitized twine prepared and needle in hand, Lua administered chemicals to lighten any pain the patient would take should it wake up mid surgery, and so she began.
Stab wound just underneath the right breast, half an inch deep, bone slightly visible, stitches required for upper portion of injured tissue, artificial tissue would be used to patch over the exposed ribcage.
Lua began, first cleaning out the wound that was filled with small pebbles and dirt, then disinfecting it with anti-bacterial spray. Wound clean and ready for administration of artificial tissue, with a small nozzle came out a white and red substance... it was thick like slime and coarse as sand, and a small amount of it filled in the stab would and slowly transformed into flesh.
The patient's body immediately accepted the solution, and so the procedure continued smoothly. With a thin black needle, Lua brought the skin flesh surrounding the would together once more... wherever she needed more skin, the substance was administered, and so... eventually, Lua placed her dirty tools in a tray to be cleaned... took off her surgery mask... and cheered to herself with pride.
She had successfully patched a stab wound, an accomplishment that immediately made her journey to the surface worth it... her medical skill was finally shown off, and with it... she knew that all those years studying wasn't put to waste.
Finished, she relaxed for a small while before leaving the operating room to change clothing, first impressions are everything and she wouldn't decline the opportunity.
' Elves ' Lua pondered. ' What a weird concept, humans but better in many ways. I guess time will test that theory. It would take about a week for a healthy human to completely recover, let's see how superior they are now. '
Vulcan meanwhile, tested and studied the material worn by the subject. It was wood, but surprisingly it had a far more strength than normal, it was close to metallic in nature but still was evidently flammable as else wise... but more importantly the samples of the wood was deemed as living.
There were species of plant life that could live away from it's main body for a few days, but such things rarely happened for trees... though, curiously enough it was entirely possible. The wood was mycilic in nature, meaning it was closer to the underground roots of a mushroom colony: Thin, wire like, and durable. Naturally it resisted most force pulling it as well as attempts to break it with sheer strength, but it's grains allowed blows horizontal to the subject to cleave straight through.
Vulcan rated the material a 6/10 for now, with of course Grim Alloy being a 10... he was prideful of his roots to say the least, to the drones... Lua's capability to make the metal and drones themselves was divine scripture, and he was the most devout follower.
Through his attempts to understand the material further, hoping to find some use of the material for Lua, he found himself accidentally breaking the armor completely.
For a while, there was peace within the facility... and hours later, the ' Elf ' was awoken to the sight of the familiar women in black.
Standing at the side of the white surgery table, Lua fastened various hooks and wires into place, just in case she needed to tie down the elf. The Elf stared at Lua as she set up shackles and other things in case of resistance, though the Elf was still affected by the surgical drugs used on her earlier the fried Elf's brain managed to spur out a few coherent thoughts.
One of them was to talk.
The language seemed to be very common to English and a few other languages, but it was definitely what Lua would consider broken, though it was likely due to the drugs.
She assigned a small drone, no bigger than a large beetle, to translate the language spoken... after a while, the data was sent to Lua's earpiece and began active translation.
The elf murmured on and on about nonsensical things, but through the constant barrage of questions and pleas there were a few lines of dialogue that stood out to Lua... the elf had refered to Lua as a goddess, and she demanded to see the other god that had saved her.
Lua ignored how she was being refered to as, and instead began focusing on her hasty assumption she was being saved. Lua had not saved her, rather she was being placed under new management. Whatever those Goblins would of done to her, Lua will do far worse... but that was for later.
" Quiet. " Lua said simply.
The Elf did not know how to react, but she humbly obeyed.
" Name and Affiliation. " Lua said secondly.
With the translator at work, the Elf's language simply became English to Lua's ears.
" My name is Kris, a hunter living under Fleetwood Grotto. "
Lua smiled. Now she knew there were more subjects that could be tested, and they were complex enough to have language... society... and, hell, even woven clothing. Perfect for human candidacy.
" Good Evening, Kris. I am Dr. Umbra, a Human. "
" What is this place? " Kris said with awe.
Lua closed her eyes and grinned, talking to another living creature felt nice.
" A Medical Bay, here you will spend some time recovering from your surgery. "
" Surgery? What kind? "
" Stab wound, right below the right breast. It punctured through your armor and skin, nearly through your Ribcage. You should recover in less than a week at best. "
Lua pointed towards where the stitches held together Kris's skin, clear as day... Black threads closed the wound she had been dealt by those Goblins.
" The Goblins... are they dead? " Kris said with a hopeful tone before becoming more demanding, " They can't be allowed to live... they are horrible! All they know is kill and pillage, they are evil! "
Lua grinned like a madman.
" All subjects have been eliminated. In other note, after you recover I will preform some tests... now then, are you hungry? "
Kris immediately perked up upon hearing the news, and began irrationally excited when she heard that food would be considered for her-!
" I'd be delighted-! Oh, but uh... I don't eat meat... do you have any alternatives? "
Lua thought to herself a bit.
' A hunter that doesn't eat meat... hmm, well... it was going to be mushrooms anyway so whatever. '
Then, Lua continued speaking.
" Do you eat mushrooms? "
" Oh-! Yes, they are my favorite next to berries! "
Lua then thought to herself some more.
' What a hippie, are all elves this way? '
