Same thing. Tears, Pain, Bullets, screams. Over and Over, he keeps having the same dream.
The day he had lost everything, the day he lost all hope.
Screams could be heard in the distance where the humans had killed his father, as he was running away from that place.
Shooting up from his sleep, Ōkami wipes the few tears falling after the horrible nightmare he had just witnessed.
He looks out of the cave only to be met with the bright sun shining down at the mouth of the cave.
Ōkami slowly gets up as his muscles pop from being in a cramped position earlier; he walks out of the cave and back to the abandoned shed.
"Good morning Mom, and dad. These days just seem to fly by fast, nothing happens, and I know nothing will.
The orange wolf sighs in frustration, "I'm not getting anywhere with this; all I know is that humans might be different than we thought."
He looks down at his lap playing with his nails for a bit before looking up at the sky once more. "They all looked happy, joyful; why can't I seem to feel that?"
Ōkami grabs clumps of his fur where his heart would be as tears were flowing out of his eyes and down his cheeks.
Why wouldn't humans give us a chance? We did nothing to hurt them. Maybe their just scared not to be the superior species.

⚠️warning⚠️the blood will be mentioned soon

Silence.
Ōkami didn't speak another word; occasional chirps from nearby birds in the forest or in the sky were heard.
The orange wolf attempts to speak again but was caught off by the sound he had dreaded most, Guns; his body starts to shake from all of the fear he had be experiencing.
About a dozen of humans were running towards him, with guns and traps in their hands.
Ōkami shakes out of his state he's in as he starts to run towards the forest.
Gunshots were heard as bullets were making contact with his fur. Something confused him, though; why wasn't he bleeding? He couldn't feel any pain.
Suddenly he is snapped out of his thoughts as a vast net comes down onto him as he struggles to get out.
The humans walk up as one of them soon speaks,
"Oh, this is a special one, alright, the boss will love this."
Ōkami starts to freak out as he screams in his language, letting out a growl every now and again.
Ōkami was once again cut off as he is suddenly kicked in the stomach, crying out as the others soon join in.
Oh, he felt pain this time, as he slowly leaked blood. There wasn't much at the time, but Ōkami felt like he was going to die.
Ōkami gradually looses consciousness; the last thing he hears in the chuckle of a male and him being carried away.
——————————————————————————
Pain and fear.
This was the only thing the orange wolf could feel as he slowly starts opening his eyes; he tugs his arms, trying to use his fingers to see as he hissed from the stretching of his wounds; I can't see a thing! Ōkami thinks to himself.
He soon hears people talking from afar, they must be talking about me, but what is so special about me?
He listens more and hears a man's sharp voice soon whisper to the scientists about this newly found "Beast" as the humans would call them
His door opens as he could hear the pitter and patter of footsteps coming towards him,
"Look at this pretty thing, don't be scared. We won't hurt you, that much."
Ōkami could practically hear the smirk growing on the males face. The man grabs Ōkami's face forcing eye contact.
The orange was beyond scared, and couldn't think of anything else as he bites the mans hand hard until it turned purple.
Suddenly Ōkami feels a kick to his stomach and his neck, as the man comes back with a knife only to slowly drag it across Ōkami's throat.
The well-dressed man chuckles, " do whatever you want with him; I don't care."
Before walking away the man puts a muzzle on him to ensure he couldn't fight anymore.
The scientists look at each other, worried as they processed what had just happened.
They decided to test what object could and couldn't make it through his skin.
By the time the scientists were done, Ōkami's blood had started to make it all over the floor.
Feeling sympathy for the creature, they soon leave, not causing any further harm to the poor animal.

"Excuse me boss, what is this?" A younger male scientist asks his boss, who was sitting in his chair doing what seemed to be more paperwork.
The man turns around to look at his scientist, then takes a look at the picture, only to see the animal he was just with, but more bloody and looked dead.
" I said they could do whatever they wanted, but I never expected to go this far and kill him."
The man sighs, trying to contain himself. The younger male wasn't fooled by his acts though.
" sir we are here to learn more about them and not hurt them; you even told us that, Archen. I know you knew what you were doing." The young man hisses as he sets his papers down taking off his lab coat afterwards.
"You know what I'm done, I'm done cleaning up all of you messes. I quit" he says as he takes his leave,
Not bothering to look back and see the unchanged expression on the males face.
—————————————————————————
Ōkami's eyes slowly open, as the pain was still there but not as bad as it was before. The male seeing him awake, takes the chance to ask the animal if he was alright.
Only to earn a growl from the animal, Ōkami backs away from the human. The kind he once though he could trust.
Ōkami opens his mouth to show the male that he was severe and that he wouldn't cooperate with him.
Ōkami starts to make his way to the woods where his cave was located. Soon falling, he silently cursed to himself for not being able to walk.
The man chuckles as he helps the wolf up and carries him back to the fire that he had made before the wolf had gotten up.
Ōkami knew that there was no point in fighting back; he'd probably get hurt again if he did.
The wolf lays on the ground opposite of the male, who was silently wishing he could've been there for him. He also hoped that he could learn to communicate with this animal.
The male could take him home, he could moderate his genes to where he had some human genes.
Maybe even vocal cords to help him easily speak the human language.
The man only looked at the wolf to see that he had fallen asleep.
He felt happy for him, pleased that the animal could finally get some rest after what had just taken place.
The male was curious about what had happened between both of their kinds in the first place.
What did they do to deserve this? they did nothing to us, all they did was live their everyday lives.
The man let's out a tired sigh as he looks up at the sky, before he can finally fall into a deep sleep.
Whatever this animal wants to do, I will surely follow.
No matter how hard this journey is, his kind shall one day be free.
