Information

[A/N: Remember that this is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places, events, locales, and incidents are either the product of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, places, or actual events is purely coincidental.]

First Concept: Rules of Succession

Upon the coronation of a new Ruler, He, His children, and His siblings are to become the direct lineage. However, the children of His siblings will remain as indirect descendants.

To avoid confusion, only the titles of the reigning and legitimate descendants will be mentioned because gods have a lot of children.

¹Whoever becomes the new Ruler will receive 'God of Supremacy' and the existing term 'Heavenly Ruler' to their name. The chosen successor is to succeed under the circumstances of retirement or death.

[A/N: The term is usually what to refer to the monarch. For example, Helios is either called O'God of Supremacy, O'Heavenly Ruler or his other titles.]

The Monarch's residence is the Keraunos Palace which has a large courtyard surrounded by covered passages. This courtyard was of sufficient size to enable all the gods and gods of the Council, to gather together when the Ruler called a full assembly of the gods.

²For the Ruler's wife, she will receive 'Celestial Goddess' and the Celestial Palace to her name. The Empyrean Library referred to as the Library of the Celestial Deities, will be owned by both the Ruler and the Celestial Goddess.

³The eldest legitimate daughter will receive 'Celestial Saint' to her name at birth. Her other titles are to be given as she ages. She will reside at the Celestial Palace until maturity then moves to her residence, the Stellar Palace, upon official decree.

⁴Unlike the usual procedure of receiving titles, the eldest legitimate son is to follow a process upon birth to gain his first title.

To summarize, all divine races present gifts to him. He chooses a gift, and the divine race who gave that gift will pledge loyalty to him. [A/N: I hope it's not confusing.]

He also resides in the Celestial Palace but then moves to Asteria Palace at the end of childhood (thirteen-years-old).

Second Concept: Mana & Essence

The origin of mana is traced back to the Beginning; the era of the Primordial deities. After the natural power of gods, Essence, mana was created afterward but no one exactly knows how it was formed.

It is full of mystery that no one could prove their theories. However, there is one famous story of the 'true' origin of mana.

A god descended upon the earth with a mortal body. He lived in the Mortal Realm seeking entertainment, he was about to return to heaven however he met a mortal woman.

He pursued her and their love bore fruit. The child was a demi-god but instead of essence, the child had a different substance that was neither similar nor different to essence.

The god's mortal consort died when their child turned five. The devastated immortal mourned her death and later forgot his responsibilities.

The boy looked for a way to console his father so he experimented with the unknown matter within him. The substance had no form of shape then he tried to add the concept of form to it.

He tried making it solid but the greater volume it has, the heavier it gets and the lesser it is, the lighter it gets. When he tried turning it into gas, it did nothing. However, when he tried to make it liquid, the substance became easier to handle and use.

Before he presented it to his father, he searched for a meaningful name. There are also two origins of the name. One is from the word "mana" which means done or finished. Two, from the words "ma", roughly means mother, and "na" from the name Nadia.

Overall, mana became a concept related to magic and closely related to water or any form of liquid.

Like mana, Essence can also be traced back to the Beginning but its origin is more sensible and understandable. Essence also had no form but it later shaped into solid, liquid, and gas. The shape depends on the element of the magic spell.

It is mainly found in the bodies of deities as one of its foundations and also found in the bodies of blessed races (ex: elves, fairies, demi-humans).

For mortal logic, Celestial Essence is the advanced form of accessible holy magic. Mainly used for healing, blessings, etc. Light element is mainly used by priests, paladins, and saints.

If a deity were to lose a bit of their Celestial Essence, the imbalance of their Corrupt Essence and Celestial Essence will make a crack to their divinity. All immortals have Corrupt Essence because of their inner demons and when the imbalance occurs, their inner demons will slowly consume them.

Irene experiences the imbalance of her essences which corrupted her body and weakened her divinity. If her remaining Celestial Essence were to be drained or someone adds more Corrupt Essence into her, she dies a painful death.

For mortal logic, Corrupt Essence is the advanced form of accessible dark magic. Mainly used for curses, disasters, etc. Dark element is mainly used by necromancers, dark mages, and demons.

Obtaining this essence via inner demon or being born as a demon, will not cause too much pain. However, if it is forcibly given to someone, they could suffer pain much worse than childbirth or be burned alive.

The success rate of implanting Corrupt Essence is the rate of winning a coin toss; 49% vs 51%.

Third Concept: Spell Grades (and Magic Circles)

Magic circles are closely related to spell grades. Moreover, someone must have a first-circle to be capable of using mana. In the usual tradition, young children of age five will go to a temple to check their magic circle. If a child doesn't even have the first-circle, the mana inside their body will slowly become useless.

When there is no mana left in their body, their body would of course become ordinary. This is basic knowledge if one had started their studies very early.

*This common event (of having no magic circle) usually happens to commoners and is rare to nobles and royals.

Magic Circles. The highest quality is the twelfth-circle but the peak quality is the thirteenth-circle which no mortal has ever achieved. Mortal heroes have reached the twelfth-circle but soon become a frog in a well.

Spell Grades. All magic spells or whatever they're called in other dimensions are segregated into their quality grade.

(1) Celestial-grade「Prime」「Overall」

(2) Empyrean-grade

(3) Pyrros-grade

(4) Cherubic-grade「Median」

(5) Lustrous-grade

(6) Dominion-grade

(7) Elohim-grade

(8) Archai-grade

(9) Stellar-grade

(10) Holy-grade

(11) Divine-grade

(12) Quietus-grade「Mediocre」

(2) Stellar-grade「Prime」

(3) Lustrous-grade

(4) Holy-grade

(5) Divine-grade

(6) Empyrean-grade

(7) Quietus-grade「Median」

(8) Terra-grade

(9) Transcendent-grade

(10) Spiritual-grade

(11) Anima-grade

(12) Psyche-grade「Mediocre」

(7) Hellfire-grade

(8) Pertho-grade

(9) Khamenos-grade

(10) Ntolor-grade

(11) Sacrilege-grade

(12) Quietus-grade「Mediocre」

Quietus is the beginner grade for transcendental realms. When one were to be misguided in the journey of rebirth, they are destined to be lost. However, when one were to stick to their principles, they are destined for greater growth.

*Although a person can have the same magic circle as yours, they will be capable of more or lesser spell grades. It is up to their potential to be able to.

Fourth Concept: Time Distortion

Time distortion is defined as an effect that makes the passage of time feel difficult to keep track of and wildly distorted. It is usually felt in two different forms, time dilation, and time compression.

The time in the transcendental realms is different from the Mortal Realm. The time passes slower in the Mortal Realm while the transcendental realms pass faster.

Considered the most normal yet the most insane among her peers, she seeks sexual pleasure and is an alumnus of Theron's mentorship.

General of the Sixth Battalion, Grand Michelin. Ula, he the personification of gluttony; mortal name, Jorges. He loves cooking, and he uses ingredients ranging from human flesh to the flesh of his kind; one way to attain this one's respect is to offer a truckload of food.

General of the Seventh Battalion, Fallen Guardian of Reverence. Invidius, he the personification of envy; mortal name, Sebastian. Second to Kassandra in terms of normality, he can be envious and pout like a kid sometimes but he's a competent one.
