Synopsis
Eliza has been locked up and tormented by her family for her whole life, just because she dared to dream of a better life for herself. One day she managed to escape and she met a mysterious man that told her of a prophecy that could help her to prove her family wrong: she would be the queen one day with this man by her side. Tired of waiting around for the prophecy to come true, Eliza and her newfound love enact a plan to eliminate her competition - her older sisters - with the help of her brother (and her pet dragon Oswald).

Chapter 1 - Chapter One - The Prophecy

The High King and his queen stood on the balcony of their castle, overlooking thousands of their subjects. Many different species could be seen throughout the crowd: humans as well as elves, nymphs, dryads, fairies, pixies, centaurs, and even the merfolk could be seen as the castle was situated atop a cliff.

The King himself was a centaur with blonde locks and green eyes that were almost angry, much like the royal family had been for the past 4000 years but the Queen was a dryad, said to be the most beautiful of her kind with her light brown curls and deep brown eyes. Her tree was a beautiful oak that was planted by the King's father over 1000 years ago in the castle's courtyard.

The royal pairing made for interesting children. The eldest and heir to the throne was 500-year-old Aviana, a beautiful girl with blonde curls, big green eyes and pastel purple wings that fluttered as she moved.

The second child was another daughter: Brooke was 486 but was incredibly small with her dirty blonde curls and narrow brown eyes much like her mother's as well as wings that were much like Aviana's but instead of the pastel purple they were a deep blue much like the ocean. The Queen was very surprised when she birthed her third child and it was yet another daughter.

Cassandra, at 424 years old, was almost identical to her father with her emerald eyes and golden locks but she was different from her family in one significant way: the girl was merely a human.

Although Cassandra was older, she had a twin - Damon was the first son of the centaur and the dryad and he was very different to all of his sisters in that he looked exactly like their mother rather than their father but the boy was a centaur.

The most peculiar of the royal children, however, was the youngest. Eliza was 422 years younger than Cassandra and Damon, the closest of her siblings to her own age. The young girl, much like her older brother, inherited most of her looks from her mother except for the golden curls that adorned her head. The young girl was similar to the eldest of her siblings given that she had been born with wings but hers were unique among the fairfolk given that they were composed of three colours: red, black, and green. Another peculiar thing about the princess was not only about her but also her closest companion; this companion was a small black dragon, no older than the young girl herself, that followed her around - a dragon that her brother had affectionately dubbed Oswald.

The kingdom were gathered to hear a prophecy of the young girl in celebration of her second birthday just as they and their ancestors had done for her siblings.

There shall be a child

To unite the light with the dark

Although they are reviled

They will embark

On a journey

To face their past

They will show no mercy

But they will be the last
