So Clayton was excited to me the famous Dio. He was the owner of the Gold Saucer and the one who what we needed. The Keystone. Then he came up to us and he recognized Cloud. If my memory can recall I think we met him early in the game. When we're stuck in some slum, can't remember the name. But I know it had to deal with one of Barrett's friends. He was just like and I'm mean he had a gun for his hand. Well, he went a little crazy. I can't all of it and he basically killed himself. What a bummer. He seemed like a pretty cool guy he couldn't gotten over whatever was bothering him. Well, enough about him. So Cloud remembered him and he wanted to know he knew any about a key called Keystone. He saw that Cloud was admiring a blue gem sitting on a tall, circle table. Dio could he like it and Cloud wanted to know what it was. Dio told him it was something called a Keystone. Cloud knew he had to have it.
"Hey, you think we can borrow it?
"No deuce my man. Not for borrowing." Dio clearly was giving it up with some stipulations. Clayton only knew what that and somehow it didn't mean racing. Clayton was getting ready for the hurt of his life.
"I can let you take it, but you have to fight for it. Yall willing to do it?" Cloud had no other choice so he agreed. Cloud went into the underground basement. He walked into the cage. He heard it locked behind. Clayton was hoping Cloud could through with hurting himself too much. Cloud fought monster and monsters. Wow, this was tiring even for Clayton. Even though he was in Cloud's body it was putting a lot on the body. Cloud almost ran out out steam, but push through till the end and won. He had finally finished and could the Keystone and head to the temple to look for Sephiroth. But before he could get ahold of the Keystone some Shrina's soldiers came into the place and started shooting up and the blue flying subway they road on broke down so now we're here. So the group had to stay at some scary hotel and wait till the damn thing gets. Clayton was like "this sucks!" So Cloud and the rest went to their rooms. But was staring out the window till came into his room. She wanted to have some alone time with Cloud. Clayton was thinking I don't have time for being in love crap. I just want to get the Keyston and go find Sepiroth. But unfortunately, we have to play the game this way or be stuck here forever. So Clayton had to follow as Cloud went with Tifa. They went to different places and then she took him of the Gandola. She wanted to reminisce. Clayton like "blah, blah, blahhh. Can't you all with already? Enough!" Cloud didn't seem that interested in it either. But he was just doing it to pass the time. Before the ride came to end, Tifa was trying to get she'd liked him, but it wasn't coming out or he was just too stupid to realize this but anyway. The ride finally ended and they got off. Tifa was going on about how much fun she had. And all Clayton is wanting to is tell this girl to shut up. If you like him tell, but if not just let it be. Clayton was pretty much agitated at this point. He just wanted Cloud to go back to his so they could sleep. As they were on their way back to the hotel, they notice one of the members up something sneaky. Since Clayton became Cloud he forgot how many members he had in party up till now. So let see we have Tifa, Barrett, Aerith, Cid, Vincent, Red XIII (he's a talking lion or something, but some crazy scientist some weird experiments on him and now he can talk. That about the gist of it), Yuffie (we have to be careful around she steals. She came from some tiny island called Wutai. But all wants is money and material. So have to hide all our stuff when she's around), and last but least the one were around to is Cait Sith. Cait Sith is a robotic talking cat. Weird isn't it. But he rides on an unnamed moggle. Not trying to get too far ahead of ourselves, but Cloud doesn't know that he a spy. He is being controlled by someone at Shrina. So being telling them everywhere they have been so far. Clayton kept wondering why they were always two steps ahead. That sneaky cat. That why they say "Curiosity killed the cat." And this cat is about to kiss his nine lives goodbye. So Cait Sith didn't notice Cloud and Tifa coming out the tunnel, but they notice him. So they follow him. Now, what could this cat be up? But before he got into the tunnel, he had something shiny in his hand. Clayton knew what it was. It was the Keystone. So they follow behind as he went to the fighting arena. They almost got up to him but were too late. He had already handed it over to the bad guys. Clayton so wanted to choke the cat and rip all the stuffing out of that moggle. He was so pissed. Cloud and Tifa were also upset. So they wanted to know why he did that. So Cloud finally found out that the cat was a spy. He told them he was hired by Shrina to spy on them and get a hold of the Keystone. Clayton was upset because the Cloud and the whole group were friends with him and he turned out to be a fraud. The cat thought he was dead for sure, but hey couldn't do anything to him since he was controlled by the Shrina Headquarters. Since they knew that he was Shrina, Cait Sith was a stage name. He must have a real name, but he wasn't given that to them. Cloud was tired. He had enough. And the sneaky cat was trying to weasel himself out of it. In his mind of thinking, he really didn't consider himself an enemy of theirs, even if he did work for Shrina. But the way these guys worked bother him. They don't get paid, they risked their lives, but they go on with the journey. That made him think about how his life is going right and it hated to leave the way things were right now. They knew he was lying, but Cloud knew once a spy, always a spy. They just didn't want to be bothered with him any longer. Cait was still trying to get out of it, but it just wasn't going his way. Then he hit them where it hurts. That damn cat kidnapped Barrett's daughter. Oh did we forget to mention, the man with the gun for a hand? Well, he has a daughter. Back to what we were saying. Yeah, he kidnapped the girl. Right at this moment Clayton really had to pause or he was going cause a whole heap of trouble. Clayton was really pissed now. Now stealing the Keystone is one thing, but kidnapping that another. Plus someone child. Man Clayton was wishing he had a knife. He was going to slit the cat's throat and shred the moggle to pieces. He was trying to calm himself. He was walking back and forth. Doing pushups and jumping jacks. And he got right to get calm and then he just got pissed off again. And that is when the narrator had to intervene.
"Hey, Clayton. How we doing? Ah, do you need some help?" Clayton was not having it right now and nothing at this time was going fix it. So narrator came with an idea.
"Do you want to skip it?" Then Clayton was thinking "Can I?"
"If this scene bothers you that much. We can skip it." Clayton thought for a moment and knew in his heart just couldn't do it. He could not be around that cat. But he didn't miss anything. So he asked the narrator what is going to happen next.
"Well, let see. I know you reach the Temple of the Ancients. But the next part might be a little rough for you." Clayton was curious. How rough could it get. Kidnapping someone's daughter is enough. It's not like someone is going to die he chuckles to himself. The narrator knew Clayton was spot on, but he wanted to slowly slide that in. The narrator didn't how he would take the news once he heard. Better brace for this. He might need a doctor. So the narrator continued giving him the rest of what was to come in the next scene.
"So Cloud and the group arrived at a place called the City of Ancients. It a place I think Aerith is familiar with. You know her being a descendent of the Ancients. Well, From what I remember. Cloud sense that something was wrong with Aerith. She had left in the middle of the night. Cloud went to go look for her. Well, he found praying at some alter." Clayton was like.
"Ok. That's not so bad. So what happened next?" The narrator was sweating at this time, metaphorically. We know that Clayton can't see the narrator yet until he wins the game. But the narrator was nervous about telling him this next part.
"Well, Cloud walked up the stairs. Then he felt as though something was happening to him, but the feeling went away. He close to Aerith and something made him take out his sword. Then he stood in front of Aerith with his weapon and I thought he about to hurt her. Then he realized that Aerith was trying to get him to kill her. Why? I'm not quite sure, but I think she has something that Sephiroth wants." Clayton remembers Cloud saying something about Sephiroth think that Aerith has knowledge about the Promised Land. But what does that have to do with her wanting Cloud to kill her?
'Well, here is where everything takes a turn. Aerith looked up at Cloud and then all of sudden Sephiroth came down from nowhere. And he took his sword and killed. I'm to have to tell you this Clayton, but Aerith is going to die."
